Canola oil is highly processed cheap to make oil. It is high in omega 6 and releases free radicals when cooking. Most canola oil is gmo, being chemically extracted using a solvent. Stick with mother nature’s oils not man made oils. Animal fats are full of omega 3’s that feed your brain and many other nutrients. Humans have been using them for thousands of years. Vegetable oils are new. All about the money.

It’s great but you’re paying for the brand name. I got it for when my Lodge pans were just purchased to work on seasoning the pan. I thought I might as well spend the money since their pans are an investment. Store brand canola oil from the grocery store will do just fine once I finish this.

Have been buying this spray for couple years and works great. I use it gently for air fryer foods, as an alternative to cooking sprays, and reduces amount of oil i would otherwise use for eggs, pancakes, stir fries. Doesn't alter flavor of foods.
This makes seasoning and clean up as simple as possible. After each meal from our cast iron we rinse it out, spray with this seasoning spray and wipe it down with a paper towel. Helps maintain that classic look and nonstick surface.
I seasoned the pan and next morning I cooked eggs in the hole. It went very well, the food was delicious. I also cook bacon and it was lovely. The pan works very well and you need to season it three or four times.
I love this spray; it keeps my cast iron pans in great shape after washing and drying. Spray little bit inside pan, use paper towel to wipe around inside then do the same to bottom and left over on handle. Done
The beauty of this product is that I can use it on both cast iron and nonstick cookware. That's because it's 100% pure canola oil, with no additives or propellants. EXCELLENT product, but pricey as all get out. You're paying for the Lodge name. Hopefully, a competitor will introduce a lower price-point product.
A light spray over your cast iron wipe off with a paper towel. Probably cheaper alternative available.
I LOVE this for re-seasoning my Lodge skillets! It gave me back my fav “cornbread skillet”. My cornbread skillet is seldom washed. I just wipe it completely and spray it with this spray.
