I normally wear a size US8 and EU38.5 (I can sometimes fit in a EU38, but 38.5 is always perfect - especially for footwear that require socks). I tried a size EU39 because of the recommendation to size up. It was huge. I tried a size EU38 because, at the time, 38.5 wasn't available ... and it was way too small. It was frustrating trying to get the sizing right. I wish I had gone with my normal sizing, a 38.5EU. I also tried these in white and thought they would become dirty quite quickly after examining the material. I am reordering the 38.5 in the green pale colorway, which will look cleaner for longer and fit correctly. The shoe looks unique and has a notable upward curve near the front compared to my other running shoes. I love the graphic pattern and shapes on ... I ordered a 37EU/7US but what came says 37EU/6US. All of my On shoes are 38EU/7US so I reordered EU38. The shoe is really unique in the green. Expensive but worth it! And I know they’ll be comfortable!
This item is sized like the On waterproof shoes, so it runs smaller and narrower, and it has a hard step. You’ll want to size up, and if you are expecting a squishy feel like the On Cloudstratus or Monster, you should probably buy a different pair and save the extra $300 for the Loewe mark up. If you want a firm, shoe feel with no give in sole, and waterproof properties, this is the shoe for you.
