Some people say it is hard to get used to vertical mouses but that was not the case for me with this mouse. The position of the mouse helps a lot when using photoshop or other creative programs that require more delicate hand movements. The surface texture of the mouse is matte, which helps to prevent sweaty hands, and it feels nice to hold. A mousepad isn’t necessary, but the mouse can catch on your desk surface very easily if there is crumbs or bumps, so make sure to wipe your desk and the bottom of the mouse before use. I highly recommend this mouse if you use art programs on your Laptop or Desktop computer, and I don’t notice Bluetooth or Logi Bolt connection issues. This is a good mouse, and I find it more enjoyable to use compared to a standard flat hand mouse.
