The MK270r is an excellent wireless keyboard/mouse combo, great value for money, and easy to set up and use. Good feel to the keys, and I like the absence of wires. Like another reviewer, I was disappointed that the responses to both mouse and keyboard intermittently dropped off dramatically, despite charged batteries, with the wi-fi USB dongle plugged into the back of my PC only a meter away - but this resolved completely when the dongle was transferred to the front of the case, and the 10m claimed range resumed reliably. Honestly, a small nit to pick when considering the fantastic price. I wouldn't be using it for gaming, but excellent for work and routine computing.

Makes desk look much cleaner without all the cables. They do have a bit of a rattle to the keys when typing. Not quiet. Not a nice mechanical click like you get from a mechanical gaming keyboard. It's a keyboard, I can type with it, no cables. The mouse is perhaps a little smaller than some mice but again doesn't really make much difference to use.

I can't even anymore. This thing has tortured me since the first covid lockdown, I bought so I could work more comfortably from home (it was the best option available at the time). It is glitchy and unreliable, often choosing to stop working when I am midway through a sentence or a thought, completely ruining my workflow and often losing the thought from my mind. This has been beyond infuriating, but has also cost me a great deal from an efficiency standpoint. I have considered, at great length, whether to throw it off the balcony and record the sound of it impacting the ground and exploding (both for catharsis, but also something to play back for myself if ever I, in a moment of weakness, attempt to buy another Logitech product). Avoid this product and Logitech. Poor support.
13 February 2022

After three months of regular use as a general keyboard, it developed an issue with double entering keystrokes or not registering keystrokes at all. As a touch typist, this is very frustrating. I was directed to talk to Logitech to resolve the warranty issue (which is incorrect, it is the seller's responsibility) and took 2 months to resolve. I would not recommend another Logitech product to anyone.

Does the job but careful with Thunderbolt!
8 May 2018

This combo is pretty decent but it has one big issue. If you plug the USB receiver next to a Thunderbolt port it will pick a lot of interference and behave erratically (pointer won't move smoothly and you will miss a few keystrokes). I tried it with 2 different MacBook Pros and with different devices connected to the Thunderbolt ports and it always fails. The workaround is to use the USB port in the other side of the Mac, but if you have a pre-retina MacBook Pro then the USB ports and the Thunderbolt port will be in the same side and you will have issues. Having said that, the mouse is one of my favourites, very ergonomic. The keyboard is fairly standard, nothing too fancy here. It could have more multimedia keys, but you have other options if that's what you're ... MoreThis combo is pretty decent but it has one big issue. I've been using the included batteries for around 3 months and they're still rocking. I never turn the devices off, they automatically enter power saving mode.

Great keyboard and mouse set
28 March 2020

This is a great keyboard and mouse set. I've used all kinds and sizes of keyboards and mice, from cheap models to high end gaming models, and this is the set that I prefer above all else. The keyboard is very comfortable to use, and is full size and full featured while still seeming compact. The keys are responsive with a nice feel and spring, without fatiguing your fingers after hours of use. The mouse is a comfortable shape, but note it is on the small size if that is a problem for you. The accuracy and speed of the mouse is great, and the "invisible optic" is a cool feature that prevents distraction. This is a great set that I would recommend every time. Plug and play with instant connect and no issues at all.

Great purchase
31 August 2021

The mouse and keyboard are excellent. I needed a keyboard and mouse that worked well but didn't cost a fortune. I had a really cheap one, $20, that just didn’t work properly at all, sticking keys and buttons not spaced as I am used to so typing was a nightmare, but this Microsoft set is great. Keys all work and are soft to press and the mouse is perfect even tough I use it on a dark wooden table. Definitely worth purchasing if your after a midrange good quality keyboard and mouse.

Great value
7 September 2021

Have used this for about a month now. Keyboard has adjustable height, which is extremely useful. Full-length keyboard, but it is not too bulky and easy to put away in drawers. The mouse is highly receptive and super accurate, I haven't experienced any skipping during my use. The keyboard shortcut buttons also add another level of convenience. I don't think you can find a keyboard/mouse combo that has more value than this one, it has completely transformed my WFH environment but has been fairly easy on the wallet. Really happy with my purchase!
