Great little box. I bought it to add bluetooth capability to my Bose Wave Radio. I only have 1 major complaint. It needs to have the ability to adjust the output level which was way too low (need to be able to better match the level to the other sources on the radio). I had to significantly increase the volume on my Bose as well as the volume level on my playback device (IPad). My other complaint (minor), is it needs the ability to dim (manually or automatically) or turn off the blue LED located on the bottom of the unit (too bright for a darkened bedroom). I utilized a small piece of black tape to cover it up. It's all good!

If your looking for an easy to set up, 2 channel audio Bluetooth receiver, this is perfect for the job. Bought one today and it linked up in seconds. Hooked it up to an old school Pioneer amplifier with a standard RCA Male to Male cable. Works great with my android phone. Great audio quality and Bluetooth range was very impressive for such a small receiver. Tested the range to approximately 25 metres within the house. Very happy with this product.

One thing which I found "unsettling" was that the product listing didn't have any photos of the back of the device, leaving me a little uncertain about connections. So I am including such a photo. Generally it worked well and gave a new use to a pair of otherwise very solid computer speakers with a sub. I think it would also work well paired to a full stereo system using the path cable attachments shown. "Probably" won't get audiophile quality sound for those who need $1500 turntables with $1,000 stylus but for general music lovers and perhaps other purposes it's solid!

Works as it should. Nice little addition to my older garage stereo system. Great sound quality. Only wish it had an on/off switch. Stays in my garage through Minnesota winters and always works as it should. (Temps range from -30 to 100 F). If I could give six stars for value, I would. Super happy with this simple little device.
The problem with this product is that it's always connected even when the receiver is powered off. What happens is that it then hijacks the signal from other devices, like my phone for example. Even if I "disconnect" from my iPhone it will automatically find it again and connect leaving my phone virtually soundless if I'm in the vicinity of the receiver. The product works great as intended but it needs an off switch or something to be able to keep it disconnected until activated again.
I will start off by saying this item went back to the store. It did exactly what it's supposed to do, connect my phone through Bluetooth to non-Bluetooth speakers. BUT! The range is nowhere near advertised, the farthest I was able to have my phone without disruptions was 10 feet; 15 feet before it fully lost connection. Any type of object between devices would also ruin the signal. I could recommend this if you're using it to connect say a laptop to computer speakers, but I can not recommend it if you have the intention of listening to music in a room where you are more than 8 feet away. I now use a cheap second-hand Amazon echo dot to play music over WiFi and Bluetooth to aux speakers.

It’s also very small so you can put it in a conspicuous place. The major drawback here is that it is always on. No power button. For reasons that I can’t explain or understand, it connects to my iPhone automatically and is prioritized over other Bluetooth devices. For example if I’m using my AirPods and I walk by my stereo it’ll kick me off the AirPods and connect to the adapter. It will also cause interference in my AirPods. It’s kind of annoying so the best advice here is to just “forget” the device until the next time you use it. If you still have your old stereo system, this device brings it to the modern age. Everything is wifi or bluetooth these days. So to can your old 200w Kenwood or other system. Dust off the old speakers if they are in storage and too good to have tossed them. (I actually had to repair mine with a kit to replace the woofers surrounds and cone). This works great and the sound quality is very good as expected. I can now play music from my cellphone through my "old" stereo system from 1980's and breathe new life into it.
I wanted to stream music from my computer to my stereo via Bluetooth, so I picked up one of these. Dead easy to set up and get it going, but sadly, the sound quality through it was terrible. The volume had been dropped dramatically, and the speakers sounded like they were underwater. I tested it using a few different devices and tracks, and always got the same result. The same devices and tracks were also tested at the same time by connecting an RCA cable to the stereo and the quality was crystal clear perfection. Item has been returned to the store. The rating gets one star for how easy it is to set up and another for how quick and painless the (in-store) refund process was... zero stars for quality.
