Amazing headset with so many features. You have the option of whether you want to use it wirelessly or wired . ïżŒiïżŒ I also like the fact that if it dies you can just plug it into your controller and it’ll run up the controller batteries. ïżŒ you ïżŒcan hook it up to your computer and add different sound profiles and change all the settings through the app. ïżŒ it has two different types of microphones one that’s attached to the actual headset and the other on the wire that you connected to the controller if you’re using it wired. it lights up a bunch of different colors and you have the option to change the color on the headset. I could go on and on those are just a few. I’ve had mine for about five years and it’s still working just as good as new. it was well worth the money.

Great headphones at a great value!

I wanted to try the 933 Artemis headphones for a long time, but I couldn’t justify the price then. So, my thoughts are based on the “brown box” brand new item which are priced at less than half the original price.Out of the box, the 933’s look very stylish and futuristic. Although I usually go for dark colors, I opted for the white/black option and couldn’t be happier. The black accents are well placed and are aesthetically pleasing. The RGB is very bright and stands out nicely. It comes with a wireless dongle, USB cable, a 3.5mm analog cable and a RCA cable adapter, which should take care of any connectivity setting. The dongle and battery can be put away in a compartment on both cups, which close securely with a magnetic panel. This headset is mostly made of plastic with some metal inside the headband. While the plastic seems sturdy, I am a bit worried about the build quality as these seem rather flimsy when handling -especially at the swivels. They are noticeably creaky. However, that is not an issue when wearing them. Hope they last! The headphones are not heavy and fit well. My ears fit inside the cups and the fabric lays comfortable agains the side of my head with minimal clamping. Still, as with most headphones in my experience, I did experience a slight fatigue after wearing them for a couple of hours -mostly on the crown of the head. The 933 Artemis feature several physical controls, including a volume rocker, a mic/mute button, RGB controls, surround sound, and a power button. The mic pulls out from the left cup and can be extended to a comfortable position.I tried these with my PC setup, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and tablets. Wether using the wireless dongle or the 3.5mm cable, it works well with all of them. Since this is designed more specifically for the PC, the rest of my opinions will be based on that. The RGB lighting, surround sound signature and features can be adjusted with the Logitech Software.I was very pleased with the sound straight out of the box. The highs can get a bit acute, but were never piercing. The mids were well represented and made conversations and nuanced sounds stand out well. Now, the bass is not super deep, and that may turn away bass-heads. However, it is punchy enough to feel it and will not overshadow all the other frequencies. In one word, I would describe them as “exciting”. The surround sound is what makes the real difference by activating it through the Logitech software. Either 7.1 Dolby or DTS options work great.I never lost wireless connection -even when getting something from the fridge. Conversations through the mic were clear and never had a complaint.Overall, I think the Logitech Artemis 933 is a great headset. Although it is unclear if they will withstand my rough handling, the features, options, and sound quality is certainly worth the “brownbox” price. I would recommend them without hesitation!

Well the wireless anything dongle works amazing. It's USB powered and you simply plug a 3.5mm device into it and you can make any of your consoles or stereos wirelessly to your headset. You can use the dongle to your PC for instant wireless headset connection without even needing to install the Logitech driver consoles. Something I honestly prefer too!The battery life so far seems excellent. Good if you want a certain level of power/bass.You can also use the headset as a wired headset as simple as plugging in the wired cable that has headset controls on it as well as some multimedia controls etc. It's a wonderfully optioned headset and I price matched it to boot on amazon for an even better price!Definitely a wonderful upgrade over my headset from a couple generations ago when gaming headsets first started getting good. I hope this lives up to the reliability of my Thermal Take headset that still works and is now my back up headset. On the note of comfort, this headset is way more comfort over my TT headset as this headset has Over the ear cuffs which don't do the whole crushing/pinching feeling i've grown up to deal with on older headsets. This is luxury comfort and it also adds a level of sound I can really really enjoy without having as much sound from the outside leaked in. So if you want to listen to something and not hear anything else around you, this will do wonders with this cuff design.I have a size L/XL head on average for helmets and hats and this fits me very comfortably. As I haven't had this headset longer then 2 days, I can't say anything for the long term so all of these are first impressions.I hope this may help someone in picking out a headset. If you just want a PC headset with the possibility of Xbox/PS4 as well. The 935 would probably be better. But this headset is the best for using it for ANYTHING. I love the RCA pass thru cables that were included i tapped into my surround sound so anything that my Theater set up outputs, it'll output into my headset as well! Can't beat that if I want a private time on my headset.Signal range is way better then you'll expect. I can go across 2 rooms easily, into the 3rd room it'll start dropping signal. So it's more then enough for nearly any size living room.

When I originally bought this headset (over a year ago at the time of writing) it worked great and I was very happy with the sound quality, looks, fit, and software. Recently, however, (these last few months) they've given me more issue than just about any other thing I own.I first noticed it with the microphone. When folded up, it mutes itself. Really an innovative feature, or so I thought, until after a while, when the microphone would stay muted regardless of the position it was in. "Just turn the feature off" you might think, and as great as an idea that would be, you can't. Even if the assignable buttons on the headset can be set to mute the microphone, the feature cannot be disabled. "Just turn the feature off" you might think, and as great as an idea that would be, you can't. Even if the assignable buttons on the headset can be set to mute the microphone, the feature cannot be disabled. This eventually led to me becoming so fed up with it, I settled on buying the Hyper X Quadcaster to serve as my Discord and streaming microphone. This was a purchase I was bound to make anyways, so I didn't hold the G933s accountable. The second place I started having issues was in the software itself. Logitech Gaming Software worked quite well for me when I initially purchased the headset. It was simple to use, and wasn't too taxing to run on startup. However, something prompted me to download and install Logitech G Hub instead, and suddenly, I was having driver issues, my usb dongle wouldn't be detected at times, and this would lead me to restart my system or reinstall LGS just to get sound to the headset I paid almost $100 to have just plug and play. Incessant beeping of my headset powercycling and being detected and disconnected from windows finally pushed me to invest in a Samsung speaker system that I had been eyeing so I didn't have to bother with it if I just wanted to watch YouTube or Netflix. Finally, there's today's incident. I was prompted to update for the same update I have been prompted to update to for quite some time. Again, I updated. Hoping in vain that this would be what finally fixed my issues. I held out hope that Logitech would finally bless this poor soul with the satisfaction of a well built, comfortable headset that, at long last, works as intended. I no longer receive any sound through my G933. Fear not though, they're not totally worthless. I can still use the inconveniently placed volume rocker to change the volume on my system. So at least there's that. This last issue has prompted me to finally go out and buy the headset I've been eyeing for some time. The headset that provides more than broken dreams and so many beeps that I'll hear them in my nightmares. I will today be purchasing the Arctis Pro wired headset, because honestly, I'll pay whatever premium now as long as it just works. In conclusion, this was a great headset that I'd still be using today if it wasn't borked beyond comprehension. If nothing else though,it gave me a reason to upgrade. So thanks Logitech.

Don't waste your time with this headset as you will be calling up logitech to replace it year after year, The low quality materials used in the headband cause issues with the earphones after extended usage. The cheap plastic slider will eventually catch a cable and prevent audio from working on either ear. Logitech support is of little help and might end up replacing the headset if they have any in stock, but not before going through hoops over several weeks. Overall you are better off going with a better brand at this price point, and I highly recommend pickup up a separate microphone as the quality on this thing is lower than other headsets.

Logitech has some of the best gaming headsets so obviously this has good sound quality. The main things I need out of a gaming headset is good sound, comfortability, and out-of-box things to work like the mute button and the microphone. The comfortability is terrible in my opinion but it's hard to give an accurate, universal review because it depends on your melon. All my other Logitech headsets have had more than enough flexibility and adjustability. This microphone is too short to the point it doesn't pick up my voice, it is not flexible, and has the same issue I've had with 2 other headsets in the G90 series. The mic will randomly mute and sometimes when flipping it up (which automatically mutes it) it will not unmute when flipped down like it should. This happens VERY frequently and THERE IS NO WAY TO FIX IT. You just have to hope it will pick it up. The mute button, flipping the mic, powering the headset off and on (at any interval of waiting time), ending the Logitech software, any combination of these things - nothing works and again, I've had this issue with 2 other G90 headsets. I cannot express how frustrating this has been. These are the primary features most users get out of a headset and I'd rate this a 1 star if it weren't for the good sound quality.

My previous headset was the Logitech G35, and they were my favorite that I've ever owned. Sadly it doesn't seem like Logitech makes this headset anymore.I gave these G933's a try, and had nothing but problems. First, they were head-squeezingly tight. Gave me a headache like nothing else. The top strap's "cushion" is way too thin, so even without the headphones being too tight to my temples, the top and weight presses too hard against the top of my head. All around incredibly uncomfortable and I found myself trying to adjust it every few minutes. The wireless capability certainly leaves much to be desired. Every 5 minutes the thing would disconnect and reconnect again with very loud BEEPS. I was on a work call, and kept having to apologize that my mic and audio kept cutting out, and asking people to repeat themselves; and I tried multiple troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue.I wanted to use the headphones wired, and was under the impression that the supplied USB cable would let me play both powered and w/ data without having to plug in the wireless USB plug - wrong. If you want to play wired, you can ONLY use the headphone jack plug, and then it doesn't give you any on-headphone controls or surround sound. So I ended up having to waste two USB ports - one for power, and one for the wireless plug. Yikes. I'm definitely not convinced wireless audio is worth anything. These headphones have gotten very good reviews - but let me just say... steer clear.

[Rewarded Review] Once again Logitech doesn't need to change a thing

Other than the new G-Hub software thats questionable. This headset works great for the price. The sound out of it is just how other reviewers put it, amazing and surprising, though i will say, set your settings in the app and save it to the device, then disable the software app to prevent it from artificially limiting the volume and sound output (although i now see why they do it, to increase battery life, but still.)The headset sounds significantly better once your custom profile is set and you use the headset exclusively without the software. Though, without the software on, the headset will drain the battery a bit faster (from my count i'd say at least 8 hours from 12, depending on your level of volume, however, 100% volume will now be 100% instead of like 75% ... MoreOther than the new G-Hub software thats questionable. I have a razer headset, and really, my laptop's mic sound better than this, when you are doing anything besides voice chat. (though i guess, this mic is just made for that specifically.)Discord on this is fine, same with skype or really any applications that synthesize your voice to sound better. Using any narration applications, like Camtasia Studio for example will result in an undesired experience simply due to the poor audio you get from the mic. This alone would make me want to buy a Blue Yeti, or something more to clip onto this headset, but overall this is why i knocked off a star.If i could TRULY rate this headset i'd give it a 2.5/5 Because:It has great soundIt has great software supportIt has really good flexibilityIt for the price has an internal battery which can be a bad thingIt for the price does not have a great microphone which can put off a lot of people looking for one device to plug in and do everything. And its battery life could be longer, however i can see 12 hours being an okay setting for someone whom is moderately active and not sitting at their desk all day (and if you are sitting at your desk all day, I would recommend the wired version.Oh, about range. It isn't that great once you factor in a few things. If you are like me, having a desktop tower on the floor and you plug the headset in the BACK of your PC instead of using a USB port up front, you will cut your 15 meters of range by a healthy margin. Honestly i'm not sure how they (Logitech) managed to get 15 meters, as having the dongle plugged into the back of my PC, makes the range about 10 feet, if that. Which in my opinion isn't that great, but if you have a range extender that might be better. One feature that i wish existed on this headset would be the ability to use it, wired with the USB cable. Oddly enough you cannot do this whatsoever.Plugging it into the PC results in the PC setting it up as a secondary device but only to "charge" Which ultimately makes having the cable plugged into the PC useless as you're mainly using the wireless dongle almost all the time, every time. You still have access to the 3.5mm port to use at the same time, however it would of been nice to have that functionality.

[Rewarded Review] Promising Headset full of technical issues
6 June 2019

This head showed a lot of promise. Feature wise, it had everything I wanted; wireless, Surround Sound, long detachable charging cable, LED lights that could be synced with my Logitech mouse, great sound and microphone quality. After about 6 months a ton of issues started to show up.First the charging port started to get loose. This is not an issue that can be fixed by buying a new USB cable - the actual built in part in the headset to this day is unreliable and only charges the headset half the time. Second the headset does not wake up from it's standby / sleep mode reliably. When a few minutes of silence have passed the headset will go into sleep mode. When you turn up the volume the headset will wake back up - half the time this doesn't work and requires you to ... MoreThis head showed a lot of promise. Second the headset does not wake up from it's standby / sleep mode reliably. When a few minutes of silence have passed the headset will go into sleep mode. When you turn up the volume the headset will wake back up - half the time this doesn't work and requires you to hard shut down your headset for 10 seconds and then reboot it. Third the receiver is finicky and requires you to replug it about twice a month which can be annoying if the receiver is in the back of the computer. Last, the headset will just freeze up and be unresponsive - then the Logitech software will try to reinstall or update the firmware and this leads to the headset being bricked (completely useless) until a hard power reset is done with the reset button. Oh and the thing feels cheap. I get that a light weight headset is ideal, but it feels so easy to snap the cheap plastic casing on this thing. The battery also doesn't hold a very long charge (about 4 hours) but I was able to get around that by disabling the LED lights and get 7 hours lol.I would never recommend this headset and will be switching peripherals to something else besides logitech. I'm an avid gamer and spend a lot of time on PCs for work and this thing feels like it needs to be dumped in the $30 clearance bin, not sold for whatever it costs now.

[Rewarded Review] Sound is great but a bit heavy/warm/compressive.
27 January 2020

I bought these headphones because I needed new ones to replace my old/tired/broken pair at the office and the firm was moving to Skype for Business. No more desk phone and they gave us awful headphones to use so this was a double-duty purchase.I first tried the Logitech Pro because the Youtube reviews of that headset's microphone sounded the best. Unfortunately, Skype and the Logitech Pro did not play well together so they were returned, plus they were rather hot to wear for a long time.I had also considered the Logitech G933 so I gave them a try. Because they use a USB connection to the computer, they worked much better with Skype for Business than the wired Logitech Pro which uses a 3.5mm jack to connect to the computer. Because they use a USB connection to the computer, they worked much better with Skype for Business than the wired Logitech Pro which uses a 3.5mm jack to connect to the computer. Skype will reset the microphone gain to maximum when you start it up, regardless of settings that should prevent it from doing so, it’s annoying but the headphones work fine even with that hiccup. I have simply learned to talk rather quietly into the mic, which of course is beneficial for the neighbors.I love the boom microphone that swings up into the headset for storage and mutes the mic in one motion. To completely tuck away the microphone, you must push the flexible part of the mic into the main boom. I usually leave it extended but fold it up anyways as it is much easier to feel, find, and pull down the mic when I get a call. The LED lights are cool, and I keep the Logitech software handy, so I can turn the headphone lights to ‘red’ when I am on a call. It would be super sweet if you could have the G Hub software would do that automatically but not really what the headphones are designed for. While I don’t get to appreciate the lights, but they are fun. While having the lights is cool, they will dramatically reduce the time you can go wireless. With both the side-bands and the ‘G’ logo illuminated, you get about 5 hours of battery time. You’ll get around 6 hours with logo off and the bands on. You’ll get about 8 hours with the bands off and the logo on and you get around 13 hours with no lights on. Huge difference! Because the included power charging cable (USB to USB C cable) is real long (over 6ft), most of the time I am “plugged in” to stay charge but I can go wireless with a simple tug. These really sound sweet both for music, streaming movies, Skype and games. Not Bose/Sony/Skullcandy "sweet" but very nice nonetheless. I tried them with the Xbox One before bringing them into the office and they worked well.Overall sound is excellent at lower volumes which I think is important because I don’t like to blast headphones...too close to my ears and ear damage. The base is deep and clear at lower volume levels but gets a bit muddy if you crank it up. The overall sound is clear but not as warm sounding Bose headphones, but who’s are. The vocals are also clear but not as crisp/precise as my Bose QuietComfort headphones, my Sony WH1000XM2 headphones, or my Klipsch speakers but I don’t think those are fair comparisons. They really do sound great. The 7.1 features are not needed for me in the office, but they were cool when playing a game. I suspect if I used the headphones as a gaming headset (like it is intended for), I would get better at picking up the subtilties of where the sound is coming from.I use the volume wheel all the time, but I haven’t fooled around with learning/programing the other buttons. The mute is a bit hard to find without accidently rolling the volume wheel, but muting is so easy by tilting up the boom this seems like a wasted button. I suspect if I needed to learn the feel of where the buttons are better, I could. For my application, the buttons were an extra feature thatThe build feels solid and I like the ‘home’ for the USB wireless transmitter (even though these don’t travel). The removable side panels are held on by magnets and scream of customization.I think they are heavy, and they are physically large. I am sure the heavy part is associated with the solid build and the larger drivers. The compression on the side of my head is very noticeable but not anywhere near oppressive. I have a narrow elliptical head, so the noticeable side compression isn’t a function of a large/wide head shape. They are not as warm on my head as the Logitech Pro but they are warm. They feel similar when you touch insulation with your arm...not the itchy part, the ‘reflected’ body heat part. The ears and surrounding area feel like they have a winter coat on, it’s just noticeable. The warmth, the weight, and the side pressure aren’t deal breakers for me because I don’t usually wear the headphones all day, but they are all drawbacks. All these points are in comparison to my Sony and Bose headphones which are technically in a different category of use.Without music/sound coming through the headphones, they are only ‘OK’ at muffling ambient office noise as sometimes I will put my headphones on to take the edge off. A significant reduction of ambient talking/noise is not really to be expected but it is an observation. Many of the Youtube reviews talk about these headphones sliding off you hear if you look up and recommend trying them on at the store before you buy them, and I did. I didn’t experience any looseness or movement in the store and I have zero slippage/movement issues during regular real-world use. They stay put very well for me.I like the headphones but if I didn’t need the ability to use them for phone calls, I would have gotten different headphones for just listening to music at work.
