Superb for the larger conference room. I have not compared it with the newer bluetooth conference systems. Which would be my only compaint. Wires tend to get in the way.We replaced it when staff kept pulling the cable out of the socket continiously sothey could clear the table. This wore the socket out.

With the amount of remote working we have daily conference calls, both internal and external. We previously struggled with sound as most conference cameras have microphone and speaker embedded - this simply doesn't work when multiple people are sitting in a room. This product totally "cuts the mustard", great quality of sound and camera zoom / remote functions are great. Only minus is the wires - wish this was a wireless solution!

This is a great solution for small-to-medium businesses who need a conference room setup; it fixes any potential audio issues experienced by the "mic and camera" sub $200 solutions while also providing additional bells and whistles. Only issue is the accessories can be pricey. An extension cable for the camera or mic hub runs for $220 to $400

Purchased the Logitech Conf Cam plus the Expansion Mics. We're now able to satisfactory cover a large conference room and pickup even the quietest speakers. The central unit provides a large, clear speaker so everyone can hear. Camera is very good quality. Long supplied cables make this system work in many different room configurations.Laptops running Teams detect the devices immediately and don't require additional drivers, heartily recommended.

We needed to improve our video conferencing - so I explored options and settled on this - it looked like it would do the job but you can never be sure.It has been excellent - simple to set up - just plug and play. The audio is superb; camera and image really good. Does exactly what we wanted to.The 2 things you need to be careful with:1) The position of the audio and the hub and camera does mean you are likely to need cables running across the floor between TV and desk the audio unit sits on - so the 5M length needs to work (or extension) - and we roll up cable after use to reduce trip hazard;2) The flourescent tubes in our meeting room made the picture flicker on the camera - which was not ideal for people to look at for long meetings. Expensive but worth it. I have two like this one and one with the extra mikes. Unless the conference table seats 16+ extra mikes are not even needed. The zoom on the camera makes it great for small or large rooms. Would have given it 5 stars but the extension cables needed to actually wire a room and hide the cables are crazy expensive. Wish they would have used USB or CAT6 instead but then they can't get you for another $400.

Logitech Group in higher education AV systems.
18 November 2016

Our university AV group was looking for a video conference solution for our classrooms and conference rooms that would not be a huge line item on the rooms AV budget. The Logitech Group system helped us fulfill the Skype, WebEx, Zoom users request for a more professional video conference experience without having to dive into the high end Cisco/Polycom hardware. For rooms where we installed the Logitech into the rooms AV system we did add the Group cable extension kit, which allowed us to bring the connections to an Extron cable cubby that we had fitted into the conference room table. So far our students and faculty have really enjoyed having access to a more upgraded camera and mic/speaker system for pop web conferencing requests.

So far we have been very pleased with the Logitech Group. It's a huge step up from the way we were doing conference calls before, which is a pretty much weekly occurrence. The audio quality is great, especially with the remote mics for our bigger groups. Video quality is good too. Pretty standard for a higher-end webcam. The zoom is pretty impressive. Set up was super simple and it works well with RingCentral meetings (which is essentially Zoom meetings underneath). The build quality is great. I was very pleasantly surprised with how sturdy everything feels. The remote mics are nice and heavy. I was expecting light plasticy things that I was going to have to tape down, but they are very well built and hold themselves down. My one wish is that the cables were a little longer, but I know we're an odd case with a bigger conference room. Likewise, the lens could be just a touch wider, but I really can't complain. Overall, we're very happy with it, especially for the price. You can't go wrong with this as long as it fits your use case!

Too many issues.
29 July 2020

After about 15 minutes, it starts making a loud and repetitive noise through the mic. Zooming while camera is in use causes the system to crash. It looks clean on your end, but always ends up choppy on their end. even if we have the same computer on gigabit internet.I would not recommend this to anyone who needs a Conference system.
