I conencted it to my computer with the cordless USB that it comes with. Then I connected it to my iPhone with bluetooth. Now I can change where I type wih just a click! Its useful when youre both using your computer and your phone, chatting some friends or you have to type something long! It's so easy to connect it too! Being able to carry my own keyboard to work means I don't have to worry about who has used the desk last and if they sneezed or washed their hands before using the keyboard avaliable on the desk. I simply pull my laptop out of my bag turn it on and in less then a shake of a sauce bottle the K380 is paired and ready to type.Battery life of this keyboard is amazing as well, it takes 2 AAA batteries which last for well over three months of intence daily typing. Even if i forget to turn it of before storing it. When I notice the low battery light turns on on a busy day, I never have to worry about finding batteries then and there. As the light come on early enough to give you about another weeks worth of typing.I have had this keyboard for over a year and a half now and can say with ease it is among one of my favorite purchase. I am gald to say it has easly put up with abuse and rough houseing of living in my bag and is still typing like it was when I first bought it. This keyboard come with a 5 Star rating from me and I cannot wait to see what the next generation of this keyboard looks like.

I love this keyboard. I have been using it with my iPad Air Gen 5 and laptop since I got it. The buttons are silent and comfy which is great when used in classrooms and libraries. The keyboard itself is light and slim so it fits in my backpack easily. What I like most about it is that it connects seamlessly when I switch from my iPad and laptop and vice versa with the three Bluetooth function keys at the top of the keyboard. This comes in handy when I write reports using multiple devices. The quality, feel, and look of the device are amazing.The keyboard itself is smaller than usual keyboards and it may take time to get used to the travel on the keyboard, but this is only minor compared to the benefits I get with the keyboard.The keyboard comes with two AAA ... Instead, I just click one of the 3 easy to spot yellow buttons on the top tier of the keyboard to tell the keyboard which computer to control, then continue working on that computer.The functional area of the Logitech K380 MultiDevice Bluetooth Keyboard is the same depth as my Apple keyboard and about onequarter inch shorter in length. The keys are all where my fingers expect them to be, so I had no trouble switching over from the Apple keyboard. It does have the PCspecific keys, as well, and they, too, are where my fingers expect them to be I like having a Back key again, which the Apple keyboard lacks. Setup was simple, with the Logitech K380 MultiDevice Bluetooth Keyboard pairing quickly and easily with my various computers via Bluetooth. Total setup time for all 3 computers was under 10 minutes.Having just one keyboard and one mouse to operate 2 or 3 computers is a very worthwhile change for me.

The three bright yellow function keys are gaudy and should be replaced with a more subtle contrasting shade of gray or let them just match the keyboard like the K810 does. The F keys work without having to hit the fn button, which is always preferred, and the fnarrow keys work for Home, End, Page Up and Page Down, which is critically important for me.Setup was very simple and everything has worked flawlessly with this keyboard, from pairing through Bluetooth on multiple devices, and syncing it to follow my M590 Flow Mouse, to configuring the keys in Logitech Options its all been a very satisfying experience.I wish Logitech would make a separate similar device that was just an addon number pad with trackpad no keyboard that was the same design as this. I know there are tons of nonLogitech options out there for this purpose, but a matching Logi number trackpad with the same color scheme and build quality would be nice.I really didnt think Id like typing on this keyboard when I saw it at Best Buy, but as soon as I touched it, I was immediately surprised by how typing felt on it, in a very good way. I typed on all of the keyboards in the store, and I ended up buying this one, so that says something. It wasnt the very best typing experience of them all, but the overall size, features, and total package of this product was the best offering for the price and for my needs right now.I wish they had the K810 for me to look at, but that unit seems very difficult to find. Would I pay 99 for that keyboard with squaredkeys, black finish, matching F1F3 keys, backlighting with hand detection and 5 adjustment levels, etc. Yes, indeed I probably would, although a sale price around 60 would make it a nobrainer for me. Even despite my preference for common replaceable batteries versus having to recharge the device with a cable every 10 days or so, Id still rather the K810 for its design. But my current search shows prices from 125 for a used one to 280 for a new one, which is out of the question.Overall, I am very happy with my purchase of both the Logitech K380 and M590, as I think they work very nicely together and are both ultraportable for on the go readiness. I would highly recommend this product.
