Pros-connect three devices easily for maximum utilization of typing whether it’s a tablet, iPad, iPhone or smartphone, Mac or PC. Ease of use transferring to each device once programmed. Low volume typing, no clicks. Noise is generated by how hard you hit the keys. Area to place iPhone is secure. Fits iPad also but I haven’t used it for a iPad yet to see stability. Replaceable battery great and it last awhile. On/off switch saves more power. Cons- no backlit keys, no LED to indicate if your caps locks and numeric lock is on. Cannot access extra functions on numeric pad with Mac products but still works as a numeric keypad for calculations. Not water proof. Just some basic water resistance to a coffee spill would be great.

This substantial keyboard is one you’ll use for years. I call it substantial because it’s the one that will sit on your desk, rather than in your backpack. It’s weighty because it holds things as big as an iPad Pro which is no lightweight. It’s worth mentioning, however, that my M1 iPad Pro in its case cannot fit in there until I take off that case. It’s too thick. My older iPad, my iPhone, etc. will fit in that slot behind the keys no problem. Those are comfortable keys, and the Bluetooth link between the keyboard and the device is so solid that I cannot out-type the device. This is my second Logitech keyboard because the lower cost unit I use in my classroom has been rock solid where I can be as far as 25 feet from my laptop to run my SMARTBoard (it’s really not ... MoreThis substantial keyboard is one you’ll use for years. Fantastic keyboard - very easy to set up. A few features I really appreciate: - sturdy polymer support (the granite looking lining along the top) - it's very soft to touch so won't scratch devices, but weighty so the device won't flip the keyboard up if its heavier. I use a 12.9" ipad and it's great. You could easily use a portable screen plugged into your phone and both would comfortably fit along it. The weight and that it is a full keyboard might make it unsuitable if you are stuck for bagspace or have weight limits for bags etc as it's not as portable as smaller keyboards. It is ok if you are staying put to work rather than pick up and put down repeatedly. - keys have a nice switch - feels a lot like typing on a Mac keyboard (but not the butterfly switch ... MoreFantastic keyboard - very easy to set up. Has a nice soft click. Keys are low profile. Very useable with a wrist rest as well. - I've used this with a bluetooth adapter to my pc, to my ipad and to my iphone (both iOS 15) and there's no lag when typing. There is a 2-3 second wait when swapping between device - not an issue if you plan on using just one device or swap devices infrequently. Might be a lag with older bluetooth or devices with low memory and issues with apps/programs competing for RAM. - Very simple functionality - on/off switch, save favourite devices to F1-3, easily connect to other devices. - Keys work with iOS, OS, Windows. Printed with windows and Mac labels at the CMD and ALT/windows keys. Has a delete button which is v v handy. - Home button is super handy when using tablet/phone. - love a number pad - uses 2x AAA batteries so any rechargeables will easily suit for long term use. Battery life is a ? for now having only just bought the device but will be dependant on the batteries you use.

My mechanical keyboard with blue keys started sticking, and honestly, the clicking sound was pretty obnoxious in an office setting, so I decided to go for a nice quiet keyboard for the benefit of my co-workers. This keyboard is perfect for the office. I use the USB receiver for the laptop, and added bluetooth pairings to my personal (Samsung Note 10+) and work (iPhone 12 Pro) phones for convenience. Unlike some reviewers' experience, pairing each device was completely painless and worked on the first try. I used Logitech's Unifying software to pair the keyboard with the mouse's receiver that I already had and that went smoothly too (hint: the power switch for the keyboard is on the right side, took me a moment to find it). I used Logitech's Unifying software to pair the keyboard with the mouse's receiver that I already had and that went smoothly too (hint: the power switch for the keyboard is on the right side, took me a moment to find it). Of course the most important part of a keyboard is the typing experience. Maybe because I'm so used to typing on laptop keyboards, I can actually type faster on this keyboard compared to my old mechanical. Sure, you don't get the satisfying clicks, but in terms of pure productivity, I'm up. The key spacing is also perfect, and the circular chicklet keys make it easy to touch type. However, note that it is a compact keyboard, so if you are heavy on the arrow keys or need the extra keys like Print Screen, this is not a good choice. Finally, it is very heavy and stable on the desk because they made it to sturdily hold up a tablet. This means it sits on the desk and stays put (also means it's not at all what you want for a portable keyboard). I was really torn on whether I should have spent the extra money for the MX Keys to match my MX Master mouse, but I'm glad I chose the K780.
First, hats off to Best Buy. Right after I brought it home, a piece of plastic in the battery compartment broke off when I checked for the unifying wireless dongle. I returned the keyboard to BB and exchanged it without any hessitation by BB staff. I wanted to exchange it, because I really liked the keyboard. I don't usually get excited by keyboards, but this is full sized yet small at the same time. It is solidly built, and has weight to it, which along with the rubber feet keep it solidly planted on the desk or whatever surgace you are using, and makes the typing experience easier and more accurate. There is some slight noise when typing, a pleasant sound, just enough to provide audible feedback, but quiet enough so as not to bother others. Typing is just easy, and I've been typing since 1964! Everything works; there are still some features to learn, but it basically works right out of the box. I have it connected via Bluetooth to my laptop and my desktop. Finally, and this is one aspect I have not seen mentioned in other reviews, this is a very elegant and physically attractive keyboard. It's full-sized, yet takes up little space. There is no wasted space here, but it is not a chicklset keybaord. It is compact, not cramped, a full-sized keyboard. The blackk and white colors are surprisingl attractive. I mean, a keyboard is a keyboard, right? But this thing just has a style and a pleasnt look that is not at all captured in the pictures. I thing this keyboard was released in 2016, but it has a very new and up-to-date feel to it, and Logitech regularly updates the firmware (I checked). The price is just right, and alomst seems like a bargain.
It's great! I'm very happy with this purchase. I've had it for a couple of weeks now and these are the things I've noted: - Size wise its smaller than most keywords which means it takes up less space on my desk. Even though it's a little smaller, it still gives full keyboard functionality. I prefer having the numeric keypad to the side and it has it. - It's a little heavier and feels a little more solid than other keyboards. For me that means it doesn't slide all over my desk while I'm working. - It's quieter than other keyboards I've had. My coworkers appreciate that on calls. :) - Connectivity for more than one device type at a time is nice to have in addition to having a wireless keyboard. No annoying or confusing set up process. - It's easier to clean. I don't have to pop the keys off to clean underneath them. The keys are round and the top of the casing sits flush with the keys. No gap for dust or paper bits to fall into. - Price is decent for what you're getting. I caught it on sale, so it was an even easier decision. I'd buy it again or recommend it for others.
I needed a very low-profile keyboard with little force needed for keypresses and a number pad, and this keyboard is those things! It feels sturdy and has enough weight/grip that it doesn't scoot around while in use, which is very nice. It has also survived at least one latte spill with no ill effects. However, there are a few details that could be better. The numlock and capslock buttons don't have indicator lights, and the home/end/pg up/pg down buttons are located on the number pad, but nowhere else. I use home and end keys all the time for spreadsheeting and editing, and not being able to tell at a glance whether hitting a button will take me to the beginning of the row or type a number is a frequent thorn in my side. I use home and end keys all the time for spreadsheeting and editing, and not being able to tell at a glance whether hitting a button will take me to the beginning of the row or type a number is a frequent thorn in my side. I've solved the problem for now by downloading an open-source program that puts indicator icons in the systray (CapsLock Indicator). Additionally, while the device stand is a nice idea in theory, in practice it is not very useful. It's too narrow to hold a phone or tablet in a protective case (it's about a pinky finger in width). Because it's right up close to the keyboard, it's extremely unergonomic since the angle at which it holds the device is nearly upright. If the keyboard is positioned neutrally, you would have to hunch over to peer at the device screen. The stand is not detachable, either, so in addition to being unusable, it adds an extra 1.5" x 13.5" to the footprint of the keyboard. (That said, I'm sure it also holds the battery, wireless radio, etc. to keep the rest of the keyboard low profile, so I'm not all THAT irked about it.) It being white does mean that it tends to visibly collects dust and smudges, so I keep having to wipe it out... it feels like a crumb trap. The power switch is also in a different spot from previous Logitech wireless keyboards (on the right side) so it took me a little while to find it since it ships in the "ON" position. (At first, I thought it just didn't have one!)
I enjoy low-profile keyboards because there is less key travel necessary and they look sleek on the desktop. There's something about this keyboard though... when you're typing on the keys, there is a pleasant "pop" type feeling but it doesn't make any noise. Typing on this keyboard for the past year and it has not become noisy and constantly feels pleasant when typing. I only wish the keyboard used different material for the keycaps. Over time, the keys become shiny. I originally thought it was oils being deposited on the keys, but I clean my keyboard religiously and the shine never goes away. Turns out, the keycaps become worn and it's not reversible. Attached are pictures of the keycaps shine after a year of use and normal cleaning. I am writing this review using the Logitech Keyboard directly onto my Apple Iphone 13 pro max screen. I pressed of the the 3 special keys that control which BT the keyboard connects to. I use it from my MacBookPro 16” M1 chip and the phone. There is a space across the keyboard that hold the phone (or occasionally my wife’s ipad) so the screen faces me at a similar angle to the laptop screen. In otherwords it works together, as good tech should. A word about the battery - it goes on and on and on. I do carry a spare in the case when I take the keyboard with the laptop traveling. Why don’t I use the MacBook builtin keyhoard? Because I prefer a mouse to a touchpad and the set up on all laptops is awarkward. To each their own. I bought this keyboard so that I could have a full wireless keyboard that I could move off my desk and place on my monitor's large base stand when not needed. I needed one with the additional 10-key area because the MMO game I play has several "num" keys mapped to in-game actions. Numbered keys on the keyboard at the top are not the same as the numbers on the 10-key side. Number 1 is just "1" at the top but "Num1" on the 10-key side. You might think I could just change the MMO game bindings, which I could, but this particular game (War Thunder) gets updated about every 4 months and when that happens all the key bindings are set back to the default settings. It's a real hassle to remap all the keys again. It's a nice design, and for the price, it is an excellent keyboard. One feature I wish it had, however, is backlit keys. I play in a very dark room and use a gamepad while playing my MMO game but do have a need to use the keyboard for certain functions I could not assign to my gamepad (not enough keys).
