Logitech Keys-To-Go Portable Bluetooth Keyboard (Blue)

I wanted this to use with my iPad as the apple keyboard doesn’t maintain a connection anymore and I didn’t want to spend the big bucks on an apple product However this keyboard is so frustrating to use. It might work for a single finger typist but then you could use the on screen keyboard. When touch typing, incorrect letters are often displayed, the emojis pop up if I mistakenly don’t hit the shift key precisely. I suspect it is a combination of the squished keyboard, the poor action on the keys and the keepers detection not working well. I’m not sure what to do with this piece of junk. Unusable!

A Portable Poor Typing Experience

This keyboard is amazing, unless you’d like to use it for typing. It’s great to have a life-proof spill resistant keyboard to carry with me on the go. The typing experience is entirely frustrating. It misses keystrokes, forcing you to go back and rewrite over and over again. It’s also very small, which makes it difficult to adapt to if you’re used to a full-sized keyboard. On the plus side, it’s lightweight and portable. I was simply expecting a better typing experience from Logitech.

Great portable keyboard for use with my ipad. I have seen reviews where others did not like the feel of this keyboard because of the thin protective skin that covers and protects it. I actually like the feel of the keyboard and how the keys respond to touch. It is virtually weightless, flat, and small yet providing a comfortable, full size key placement feel. I bought this for an upcoming international trip. I am tired of lugging a laptop with me when I travel and it appears the Keys to Go with my ipad is the perfect solution to meet my internet needs. The item description did not mention the included iphone stand. Pease note the Iphone stand is included. This is the same product sold on the Apple website for $70. I bought the red version of this keyboard two years ago when I was in university. Back then i was perfect because it was light and the same length as an ipad air 2 which I had at the time. Battery lasted for months! Easy to connect. Surprisingly deep key strokes on every key, there are individual hard keys under the fabric. I have medium/small male hands so they keyboard can be a little tight at first but you can get used to it pretty quick especially because the the nice "f/J" finger markers like you would find on a normal keyboard mixed with the amazing key strokes. Note that there is an ios and windows/android version. This is the ios version and all the shortcuts work fast as they should. That being said I can confirm my IOS keyboard works with Android tablet and my windows PC and SOME OF THE SHORTCUTS STILL WORK LIKE VOLUME CONTROL! When I bought this keyboard brand new 2 years ago it was $35 but its now like 60 or 70? This started when they released a newer version of the keys to go with the "logi" logo in the middle of the keyboard. My model is the older one with "logitech" written on the left side by the battery indicator/Bluetooth light. At $70 I don't think I would've bought this keyboard as a college student, but as working professional, its nice to have this keyboard. I have used it on the go with android tablets, ipads, great for travel, light, and clearly after 2 years, durable.

I've only had to charge it once in the few months I've had it. I'm not certain the price point is worth it, because of the following reasons. I expected the keyboard to pair like my Bluetooth earbuds do, where I can easily pair with two devices. However, with this keyboard, I have to remove the keyboard from my iPad's settings altogether to get it to pair with my iPhone, and vice versa. That's very cumbersome. There are many times I intentionally don't want to start with a capital letter, so that's very annoying (please let me know if there's a way to turn that feature off). (UPDATE: I found a way! Go to Settings>General>Keyboard>Hardward Keyboard and turn off Auto-Capitalization.) Overall, it's a great choice for a keyboard. It takes a little getting used to before being able to type efficiently, but in my experience that's normal when starting to use any new keyboard.

I wished I Could Like This Keyboard

Logitech is the brand that I buy my keyboards from because they are excellent. I have never had any issues with any keyboards that I've gotten. However, this keyboard...I was a bit disappointed. I love that the keyboard was extremely convenient in terms of packing the computer in bags. It is quite compactable. The issue is the keys. It is hard to type on especially for advanced keyists or typers. I type super fast, and I kept stumbling over the wrong keys because the keys don't have physical definition to separate them.

Really good for the price

I have been using this almost exclusively with my iPad and it's very handy. It weighs next to nothing. Seems well-made overall. Hasn't needed to be recharged yet, although I bought it over a month ago and use it most days, sometimes pretty extensively. One thing that took some getting used to is that I can't type quite as fast on it as I do on a laptop keyboard - the touch is less sensitive and I'm prone to skipping letters if I go too fast, and of course it's a bit cramped compared to a laptop keyboard. But that's not a deal-breaker at all, and I'm glad I bought it.

Very handy keyboard

This is a very handy keyboard and I like that it is not going to get crumbs under the keys or any liquid, for that matter. My only complaint is that it is small enough that it takes a while for my fingers to adjust so I’m not fixing typos all the time. That will get better but I’ll stick with 4 stars. I also like the fact that it rarely needs charging. In fact… where is that charging cable? Seriously… where?

Overall I like this keyboard. It takes a little getting used to. It initially was stiff to type on. Over time the keys have gotten easier to hit. The space bar is still a little stiff. It needs more pressure than you would use on your regular keyboard on your laptop or desk top models. The only reason I gave this particular keyboard a 4 star instead of a 5, is that for some reason, the hot keys on this keyboard do not match the hotkeys I find on. The Logitech website, in the start up guide for this keyboard or on any website, youtube review. This keyboard is for Apple products only and that is fine since I use it on my iPad only. Except for that one little issue, I like this keyboard and look for word from Logitech on what version I really own.

Wanted to love it

I travel a lot and use my iPad like a laptop. My previous keyboard/cover finally died after several years of constant use. The size of this keyboard is perfect for the iPad, it is lightweight, and the backlight feature is nice. I like that it has command keys, control function keys, etc. But that is where the liking stops. Typing on this keyboard is a chore; the keys are rubber and if you are a fast typist, they do not have the necessary sensitivity to keep up with you. There is a lot of correction and backspacing especially when working with documents or typing an email. If you need a keyboard to type in web addresses or information for a search, this will be fine but if you need a keyboard that can keep up for work or school, this is not it.
