I usually use the Mx Anywhere mice and just purchased the new Mx Anywhere 3. The mouse is maybe a little on the small size if you have large hands or prefer a larger device, but I really prefer this size myself. The motion is extremely sensitive - I would like it better if it had a way to know if the computer was asleep perhaps and not wake the computer up with the tiniest movement (even someone stomping their foot nearby). But the silent button and scroll wheel was the main selling point - it feels like a luxury - who really needs that? - but I will never go back to a regular mouse given the choice. It's just that pleasant not to listen to that pointless clicking sound all day. I assume the effect would be multiplied in an office environment. This Logitech mouse is great all-around. I like the ergonomics I like the grip and the silent buttons are not completely silent but definitely the perfect mix (think 90% reduced sound) without feeling mushy like a Thinkpad touchpad button. The connectivity is seamless and has never been an issue in waking or dropping.The dual receivers (bluetooth and USB) and Logitech software are incredibly handy, too.My one gripe is that it's made in China - the right button top edge sticks out a millimeter or two and it's sharp and not flush with the rest of the mouse. Since it's a right click, it's never bothered me - I only noticed it when examining the mouse and playing with different grips, so YMMV depending on QC and grip type.Good overall!

I like this mouse. I also considered the Logitech Anywhere MX 2s, which was a bit more. In the end, this one was the winner. Here's why:1. It's definitely quiet – not 100% silent. And note that the scrolling isn't a bit louder than the clicking. Still, it's nice how subtle the sound is when using it.2. It's not as fancy as some of the others, but still has horizontal scroll and supports up to two devices. I think the custom buttons on a mouse would only be useful if you're doing very specialized work like audio/visual/video editing and need the shortcuts.3. Although it isn't rechargeable, it only needs 1 AA battery – and supposedly, these last up to 24 months before needing a new one. Plus, I recycle my batteries anyway.Overall, another quality Logitech product!
