Purchased this today and couldn't get it to work for an hour. Mouse worked straight away on my old Logitech driver. Keyboard DOA. Closer inspection the positive battery tabs were set too far back to allow connection. Got the tweezers in there, bent them out a little, works flawlessly now. Inconvenient for an otherwise nice feeling product. Mouse has a horrible feel to it, left and right click has no feedback or recognition of use. Went straight back to the old logitech mouse.

The keyboard is really good looking and feels great. The mouse is ok type. But i have to return this item. Why? That's a fault of best buy website. I searched for wireless keyboard and mouse for MAC and the search returned this item. I know logitech k380 supports MAC so i thought this one too, but upon purchasing i found there was no mention of Mac on the box. Next check the best buy site and it did not show any Mac compatibility either. Not sure why it gets picked up in the search then.

I absolutely love this keyboard and mouse! I was unsure how I'd get on with it as it's flatter and narrower than my old one, but I love it. It's comfortable to use and despite being smaller, I find that I can type with it really well. Plus, with them being white they make my desk look a bit brighter than the usual black ones. The keys are quiet but there's still a bit of a hollow noise when I use it, but I think that's more due to my desk than the actual keyboard. It seemed a bit pricey but it's definitely worth the money, especially as it comes with the batteries included. I'd definitely recommend this keyboard and mouse. The only negative is that there isn't a button on the keyboard to open up Files on the desktop, which my old one had. It's not really a problem ... MoreI absolutely love this keyboard and mouse! We bought a K780 and one of these for our work laptops. The K780 is amazing and comes with bluetooth, so you don't need to search for the dongle. This one however, has no bluetooth and as I found out today, if you lose the original dongle you can't even buy one to replace it!! So we've got a completely unusable keyboard and mouse now. This is disgusting and irresponsible on the part of Logitech. Such a waste! These dongles are easy to lose and they have a unifying dongle system which they didn't incorporate into this design. It should be discontinued immediately.
The keyboard and mouse both have a good weight and quality feel to them. It's not by any means a cheap plasticky feel. It's more like a quality built, mid-range priced keyboard/mouse combo. It was worth $50 to me. No Caps or Num LED indicator. You will have to set up your audible caps indicator within Microsoft Windows if that is what you are using. For a full keyboard with a numbers pad, this is ergonomic and feels nonintrusive as far as space goes. Of course, it's on a large desk in our office. The mouse is different. This is not a mouse that you can rest your palm upon. With your wrist rested on the mouse pad, you'll be using your fingers to move this one around. This was not a deal breaker for us. I'm happy with the purchase because it serves well as a front ... MoreThe keyboard and mouse both have a good weight and quality feel to them. It's not by any means a cheap plasticky feel. I'm happy with the purchase because it serves well as a front office desk peripheral for checking in and out customers. It seems like I can rely on this compared to other combos we've had in the past. I have always had good results from Logitech keyboard/mouse combos. I have five of them for our computer repair shop bench and have been using them for 5 years now with no failures.
I've only been using this a few days, so my fat fingers are still bumping into one another on the smaller dance floor, but the fact that they don't have so far to travel plays right into their inherent laziness, so that's all good. And I like the board's solid feel and the substantial response of the keys. But why no on/off switch? It didn't occur to the designers that there were lots of potential circumstances where having an always-live keyboard was a bad idea? Let me suggest just one: cats. And I don't even own a cat; I'm just naturally clumsy. I'll bet the engineers recommended an on/off switch, didn't they? And no Caps Lock warning light? OK, I get the battery life problem. And I know dedicated word processing programs have a little pop-up in the bottom margin ... And I know dedicated word processing programs have a little pop-up in the bottom margin (like that leaps out at you), but what about other apps, like Gmail, or form fill-ins, like when I want to complain to my congressman? But you know what would be even better than a warning light? Make Caps Lock a two-key function: Shift/Caps Lock. It's a natural. I like Logitech. This is my third Logitech keyboard in the past seven years. And I've owned several Logitech mouses, but my physical condition requires I use a track-ball mouse now. I broke the first keyboard cuz I'm naturally clumsy, like I already said. The second one still works fine, I just needed something smaller, like for in the bathroom or when I'm hiding in the closet. Actually, life was getting dull and I needed something to challenge me and make me feel alive again and I figured a keyboard with no off switch or Caps Lock light would be just the thing to bring me back from the edge.
So I only bought this combo b/c I wanted another mouse.. I have the M350 & did not even realise when I purchase this one that the mouse was not BT compatible. The M470 mouse that comes with this set is VERY light weight. I like the weight of the 350.. I kinda feel like I have no control of this 470.. Its way too zoomy.. This mouse is quite, easy to use.. Not for a heavy hand. My 350 has taken several falls & still works like a charm. The keyboard is lovely. Quite keys, the loudest part of this keyboard is the space bar, but it def lowers your co-workers urge to choke you out because of the annoying noises. Keyboard has a nice weight (that is all in the part that props it up.
I bought it to replace my much larger keyboard. Unfortunately it is not a unifying device and only works by plugging the receiver that comes with the device itself. Even though I like the low profile, the keys are not that silent. Logitech has other keyboard that are truly silent. I also find that the up and down arrow keys are toooo small. I am also unsure what the space at the top of the keyboard, where the receiver and the batteries are, is for. The lid is too plasticky and should be opened the minimum possible, just to change the batteries. For travelling, should be fine if one plans to take a laptop on a trip (without a keyboard?).
I can't emphasize how much I love this keyboard/mouse combo. The keyboard is solid with rubber feet at the bottom so it doesn't slide. The keys are soft to tact and unlike other keyboards they make very little noise. The only thing I don't like is that the keyboard doesn't have an on/off button. The mouse is light with a seamless design, perfect gliding and responsive. The mouse does have an on/off switch. Super easy to use, simply plug the USB into your laptop and voilá! I you're having doubts about this product, just get it. You'll love it and it's at a great price!
Everything works well. I have some minor improvements I would make: I can turn off the mouse, but I can't turn off the keyboard without taking the usp port out of the computer. Sometimes I just want to use the mouse and I assume the keyboard is using up its battery power doing nothing. The keyboard and mouse take different size batteries. Why weren't they designed to take the same size? The USB piece that enables connection can be stored in the keyboard, but getting it in and out requires removing a panel that is a little difficult to keep taking on and off the keyboard and makes me afraid I might break it. If I just leave it off, it's not very attractive, and you can see the batteries. It would have been nice for that piece to have storage spot on the keyboard that ... MoreEverything works well.
