I had been using an excellent Logitech Edge keyboard that had lasted 15 years with only a couple of battery replacements until it began acting erratic and died recently - which still could have been the new battery I had installed a few months back. It is just too much trouble replacing that battery. I had wanted an additional Logitech Solar Keyboard as I have several that have never been a problem on other computers, but they just weren't available. One of mine being 12 years old and still performing great. They only require an easily replaced coin battery after a number of years.This MX keyboard is just fine although I will need to manually charge it occasionally. With the MX I'm able to connect to my laptop (M1 MacBook) while the lid is closed and my home desktop PC (Windows). Rather than having to deal with multiple keyboards, or unplugging and plugging I decided to try this out. I'm very glad I did.It works perfectly with the Logitech MX Master series mice, with the Logitech Options software. You can setup up to 3 devices and move your mouse from device to device, and the keyboard just follows to whatever device the mouse is connected to. And recharging is simple, since it's a USB type C port. It charges very quickly. I'm not sure exactly how long, because I typically just plug it into my laptop, and keep working and then at the end of the day I unplug it. I would guess probably 2-3 hours max to charge from almost dead to full, but you can use it while it charges.The option for bluetooth or Unified receiver is great. I use the receiver on my gaming computer, and bluetooth on my laptops. I haven't noticed any drops in connectivity or lag with either option.The key action feels very nice, if you like the "chiclet" style keyboards. It's similar to a laptop keyboard feel, but with a bit more travel, and obviously its a fullsized keyboard. The layout is very nice. It took a little adjustment to get used to it at first, but everything is where it makes sense for it to be.Overall, great keyboard, especially if you're already invested in Logitech's ecosystem with an MX Master mouse.

I'm not going to pay that much for a keyboard that seems to be a three-year disposable piece of hardware, especially given that other keyboards in the price range don't seem to suffer from the same defects. I've been a Logitech user for over a decade, but the quality seems to have fallen off quite a bit. The logi mouse I use registers double clicks with a single mouse press and the scroll wheel creaks like an old chair. My advice to those contemplating this would be to consider other keyboards in the price range as well, as you may find something more durable.

This is an obvious attempt by Logitech to turn the iPad into something that competes with the surface, and it succeeds in a number of ways. That being said there is one thing big that this keyboard case cannot make up for, and that is the Surfaces ability to run full programs. Other than that, this keyboard really does perform well. The key response is very good considering how thin the keyboard is. I love the face that the keyboard detaches and the variety of positions my iPad can now assume with the kickstand. It is the same size or larger than the one on my normal work laptop, so while it feels normal size, it looks gigantic on this keyboard. The number one drawback, as far as I can tell is the size. If you have big man hands, you are going to find this a little cramped. This isnt a knock on the product as they are limited by the width of the iPad, but just something to be aware of. All in all, you cant go wrong with this keyboard case if you are looking to add a tremendous amount of functionality to your iPad.

An equivalent Intel based iMac Machine running half of what I was running tonight would have been spinning all fans at full power and bogging down.During my tests the RPMs were reported at 1300 RPMs and I don’t hear a thing.Hats off to Apple and their design of Apple Silicon. Now if their Software Team could deliver at the level that the Hardware team does then Apple would be untouchable.

The keyboard feels very sturdy, and it is a tad heavy. I generally don’t travel with a keyboard, so no big deal. It certainly does not slide around on the desk. The angle of the keyboard is fine, and the keys are very comfortable to type. The backlit keys have a timer that you can set, but this only works when the keyboard is plugged in and charging. If the keyboard is not plugged in, the the backlit keys timer is not concise as the keyboard has an ambient light sensor. If the room is bright, then the backlight on the keys might not come on at all. If the sensor senses that the room light is not that high, then the backlight will turn on, but will turn off after about 5 seconds once your fingers are off the keyboard. Once you place your fingers close to the keyboard, the backlight will turn on, but it may take 1-2 seconds. I know that Logitech did this to save on battery life, but it is a bit annoying. Other than the backlight issue, this is a solid keyboard, and I like the feel of the keys while typing. 5-star rating if Logitech fixes the backlit key issue when on battery.
I purchased this to use with an older Mac mini and also to be able to use with multiple devices. I haven't had to use it on the other devices yet but I am happy with my purchase so far. The keyboard is not that quiet compared to the Logitech k750 I had before - it does have a definite click to each key that can be heard on a microphone. I like the feel of the keys and the way each key is slightly indented to ease your fingers into pressing the correct key. I purchased a mat to put under the keyboard so it didn't slide on my desk but there rubber feet on the bottom of the keyboard so that likely wouldn't be an issue for use on a smooth surface (one of my desks is wood and the other has a glass top). It may be that I don't have it setup correctly, but the way I realized that it needed to be charged was the red light at the top right corner started being red. I was able to use it for a while before charging but at some point the backlit function stopped working until I plugged it in to charge. I left it on most of the month since I got it and use it 5 days a week for maybe 2 hours at a time. I think it will get more once I fully charge it and use it more frequently. The keyboard came charged and has lasted about a month before needing to be recharged. I am able to use it while it's charging so that is helpful.
Woah, despite being sold as a pair, the MX Keys (full-size) keyboard and the Master 3S mouse don't use the same Bolt receiver. The keyboard is only compatible with the older "Unifying" receiver, which I believe is discontinued, and replaced by the new "Bolt" receiver. This means you need to use two usb slots, and have to setup the devices separately in the app. Since the app can only access one receiver at a time.They use Bluetooth, but if you want to do any config before going into you OS, Bluetooth won't work. So you no matter how you do it, these two devices are not of the same series products. One uses a Unifying receiver and the other uses Bolt.
