EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR

I am working on both a MacStudio Ultra and an older laptop simultaneously. My main concern was that switching would have a workflow disrupting delay but it is basically instantaneous. Bluetooth is solid. I depend on function keys and have to switch out of FN key Mode to Media Key mode to switch computers which is 1 more step than I'd like but it's still pretty efficient all in all. FN Key is not in the same place as a MacBook keyboard (Here it is to right of Delete) so that was confusing but once you get used to the few differences, it is all straight forward. Backlight is nice but I wish I could make it stay on permanently. Typing is very smooth and not too loud. Well-constructed. Highly satisfied.

This keyboard is worth every single cent. First of all, its a Logitech. It just works. If you have a Logi wireless mouse, then you know how instant and seamless the wireless connection is. The keys are illuminated, they conform and cradle your finger tips at every keystroke, and although they're extremely responsive, they barely make a sound, even when you're hammering away doing extensive word processing, coding, creating documents, or typing out copy for content. Its sturdy, but not heavy. It doesn't move from wherever you place it, but not because its bulky and burdensome. Its casted out of aluminum it appears, and the back part of the keyboard is weighted. You can also set the keys to stay fully illuminated if you like, but I suspect it conserves battery to leave the motion recognition on. There are so many other things to go over about this keyboard. Too much to list here. One more thing I will mention, if you use Logitech Flow, this thing can switch between three different desktop or laptop setups with the push of one button. Its so fluid and intuitive. Logitech really considered workflow with this keyboard, and it easily destroys Apples magic keyboard. Leaves it in the dust, quite literally. Don't even think any further. Buy this keyboard.

I have tried numerous and various types of keyboards from other stores, brands and on amazon. But this one, this is THE ONE for me. Times have truly changed with COVID 19 affecting remote learning and working from home. Since I'm a recent college graduate, I needed to upgrade my computer system to study for my boards because my MacBook Pro was starting to lag and bought a 27 inch iMac back in march early this year. But the basic keyboard that it came with was not enough to meet my typing standards. Solely because I do not know why apple still has not developed a backlit keyboard. That was my biggest frustration when I purchased such an expensive computer. At first, I couldn't figure out why the launch pad button couldn't work but then I found out you have to go to system preferences, then click on keyboard, and go to shortcuts tab, then click on launchpad. Click on the box where it says "Show launchpad" and then a blank typing space will appear, you must press the launch pad button on the keyboard so it registers what button on the keyboard will display when pressed and then you're done! press the launchpad button that you just registered and it should work.Overall, this keyboard works exactly like the magic keyboard. I personally like to connect it with the USB receiver only because with the apple magic keyboard bluetooth was always disrupted with other devices also connected to bluetooth. But it does work great without the USB connector. I think that's the coolest feature where you can connect up to 3 devices and on the keyboard it has a button for each device. For example: Button 1 is for my iMac , button 2 is for my iPad, and button 3 is for my iPhone. And awesome backlit feature with more smooth typing, the arch is just at the right level (unlike the apple magic keyboard is just flat), and battery life does last longer when not using the back light on the keys as much. You do really get your money's worth for this keyboard, rather than paying for overly priced keyboards.

Product is Great - Set Up isn't

The keyboard is fantastic. Never a big fan of bulky deeper stroke keyboards and I always felt slow while using them and made a lot of errors as I pretty much exclusively use my MacBooks keyboard. But since getting this for my desktop work I could not be happier, the keyboard feels fantastic, the matt finish on the keys with a slight firmer key press is a joy to type, both for short burst and more extended writing. And the apple look and layout combined with excellent bluetooth connectivity and ability to switch between machines easily with the keyboard makes this a perfect keyboard for anyone liking a lower profile keyboard. Its great that the board came with a USBC connection but I would have liked the ability to use the keyboard in a wired way sometimes. Just a bit easier incase you want to quick switch machines without changing around the wireless usb or connecting to bluetooth2. The other is actually setting up the keyboard. It took a good two hours of searching through recommendations of other users to find out how to make my bluetooth connect properly. It seems to be a common issue in setting up the keyboard. Which when I was setting up my new Mac, I couldn't even log in for it to connect and just caused a major pain, if it had a wired connection, would have avoided this issue.

Really Like this Keyboard.
8 October 2021

I have been studying design for the last 6 months, my setup is a MacBook Air (2020) M1 so I do not have a lot of ports to play with, haven't found a great adapter that doesn't seem to overheat, so wireless was a must. I also use this for work on my PC. The keyboard has 3 signals that allow you to alternate between 3 workstations, this was an unexpected feature that made this device better. I love apple's keyboard sensation and hate the mechanical feel, it distracts me if I am typing quickly. This keyboard is as smooth as my Macs and it just does what it's supposed to. I have charged it twice since purchase and have yet to be notified that it's low on power, so not bad considering a month of daily use. I have charged it twice since purchase and have yet to be notified that it's low on power, so not bad considering a month of daily use. The bluetooth works as long as I can see the screen, so if I mirror on to my living room tv, I can sit 20-30' away and still work, don't know why you would need more. I have not had any connection issues and everything is seamless. Install was a breeze. I used the dongle for the pc and bluetooth for the Mac. I have paired my use with the MX Master 3 mouse and it's all housed under the same application so I can program my quick keys. If you just need a keyboard for whatever casual use, may be too much for you. If you want a good keyboard you don't have to worry about working, this is it. I wouldn't say I am a keyboard expert, just 25 years of typing on them, I know what I like, this keyboard met all of those needs. If there is any function I wish they added that is not present would be the fingerprint scanner, I would not pay an additional $50 for the magic keyboard that this is modeled off of so it's not really missed. I do like having both Mac/PC labels printed on the keys, this thing is great. I hope this helps.

The absolute best, with one minor issue
7 March 2023

Part of me hates giving this keyboard 4 stars. It’s truly the best in almost every possible way. I replaced an Apple Magic Keyboard with Touch ID with this, and it’s truly superior. My only minor gripe is that you can’t control how long the backlight stays on when you stop typing or move your hands away. I get that it would be a battery hog if it stayed on permanently. And the more it’s on, the more battery it uses. But it goes off after just 5 seconds and you can’t adjust that (or I can’t figure it out for the life of me). If you tend to often work at night or in the dark, it does cause these small delays - if you will - in your usual work rhythm, if you’re used to a keyboard that’s always backlit. However, the build quality, key feel (just tactile enough but not ... MorePart of me hates giving this keyboard 4 stars. This is low profile sturdy keyboard for Mac
6 November 2022

I like Logitech products. This is low profile sturdy keyboard, as you can expect from Logitech. The pros:1. Built quality is superb,2. Match with my macbook color and finish.3. Connection is smooth, easily switch between three computers. I purchased this for my work because sometimes I take my laptop also it I can simultaneously work on the two computers. Logitech flow and options softwares are great tools to exploit the potential of this keyboard.4. Battery backup is great last approximately more than 2 months in regular use.I wish Logitech should have made a mechanical MX keys. It would have been good if this has an option to be wired connection as well for the old desktops that do not have bluetooth ot limited USB ports.

I'm a MacBook user who relies on external peripherals incl the keyboard. I did a lot of online research when choosing between this and the Apple keyboard and am so glad I went for this unit. I've been using it for several months now and continue to love the sculpted soft-touch/low-noise keys. I generally turn the backlighting off and have only had to charge it a couple times (tho the smart lighting is pretty nifty!)The bluetooth works flawlessly - no need for the dongle, for me. The rubber bumpers on the bottom mean it doesn't slide around on my desk, yet it's easy to push out of the way when needed.Plus there's some cool function buttons like the screengrab (F17) and computer lock (F19) which I use frequently.Honestly this is the best keyboard I've ever used. It ranks up there with the MS Arc mouse as my favorite peripheral. Feels good, man!

Using with Mac Mini 2018 and MacOS Big Sur 11.4

I have previously tried three different brands of Mac USB keyboards with my Mac Mini and the Logitech MX Keys for Mac Wireless Keyboard is by far the most compatible and satisfying. I am using it with the provided Logi USB receiver (not bluetooth).I am not an expert typist, but this keyboard has by far the best "feel" to me of all the keyboards I tried (including the Mac keyboard provided with my wife's iMac (Retina 4K,21.5 inch, 2019).I also like the "on-demand" keyboard backlighting. This has provided me so far with five weeks of usage on this battery charge, and the "Logi Options" utility app is still indicating the battery is fully charged.I have also used the "Logi Options" utility app to customize the actions of several Function keys as follows:F1 = Keystroke assignment - Command+Q (quit running program)F2 = Open application - Logi Options.appF18 = Open application - BBEdit.appF19 = Open application - Bitwarden.appIn my opinion, I feel that this keyboard is an excellent accessory to use with Mac devices - not only do I like it as a keyboard, but the additional functionality that is built in and easily accessible through the "Logi Options" app make it a very worthwhile purchase.
