The keyboards' soft pastels of lavender, butter, mint, and white fit in perfectly with my wife's overall "pretty" theme (most of her equipment is pastel pink with glowing LED lighting). The most noticeable difference is the lack of a Numpad on the right side which is usually found in traditional keyboards. First, the setup.Connecting the keyboard was easy enough, it came with the USB adapter and it was immediately discovered and worked without issue on the PC. It can be connected via bluetooth as well and works that was done just as easily. Connecting the mouse was another issue, if connecting it to the existing Logitech adapter from the keyboard, it required you to jump through some hoops that were not very straightforward in the logitech app (required download if you connect in this method). It was also capable of being connected via bluetooth to avoid this, however when connecting to the PC the lower latency option is the adapter.This keyboard is very useful if you need to work with your PC, tablet, and your phone at the same time. You can switch between three types of electronics with the push of a button and type away. We found the emoji buttons quite useful when typing in popular applications with the keyboard. It comes with 8 keys (but you can only have 4 latched onto the board at a time) and 1 key to bring up more emoji and symbol options. The emoji button brings up 2 different types of emojis (standard faces, thumbs-up etc., drawn out "kaomoji" like ^_^) and your other symbols ($ = ĂŁ ÂŒ). Being able to use this keyboard to communicate on her phone is a major draw! It made for very fast communicating and made it easier to type up longer, more thorough replies that are often nixed when texting on a cellphone's tiny keyboard. This is great if you're replying to emails or messages on your phone while using your PC for other tasks or hate using your tablet's flat glass keyboard.The coordinating mouse may be a problem if you have big hands. At just shy of five feet tall, this mouse was still on the smaller side for my wife's tiny hands. It's the size you expect for a laptop or tablet mouse. You press a flat button underneath the mouse to switch between your three linked electronics, making this like the keyboard, easy to use and move around. It had no problems tracking and has an inaudible click and mousewheel when using it to tap things around on your screen. There are no side buttons, however, there is a button below the mousewheel that brings up the emoji and symbol board.There was only one downside to this keyboard and mouse. Keep batteries with you. The battery life is very long, but they are not rechargeable. These two are truly wireless. There are NO ports on either of these. Zero. You can not connect anything to these physically. You are dependent on bluetooth connectivity to use these.Overall, this is a nice and unique keyboard and mouse. It's aesthetically pleasing, fun to use, and most of all, easy to work on multiple devices without fuss.

The keyboards definitely have a clicky (typewriter noise style) sound to them and the mouse is pretty much silent. There are so many unique features you can use with the Logi options app that you will install once your get your items. Here I can change the emoji keys to whatever I want, and my item came with 4 additional keys I can change out for emojis. I will say, my gamer boyfriend (who likes red and brown mechanical keys) is kinda obsessed with my brown format. I like that I can change out these keys in the future if I want. I went with the beige and grey color scheme and am so happy. 10/10 for me!!!Logitech, you have my business now!!

I've been a programmer for almost 40 years!)The keyboard itself is very sturdy, with a bit of heft to it, so it does not move around as some of the lightweight keyboards can. For those of us who know what it's like to get 'banging on the keyboard' from time to time, you know what I mean. What I am a bit surprised at is that, although the spacing and size of the keys are pretty standard, I find myself 'fat fingering' the keyboard on a regular basis. I think this may be due to the fact that the keys sit a little higher off the desk than most current low profile keyboards. Takes a little gettiing used to, but like everything else - practice makes perfect.To get back to the features of this keyboard...The real selling point for this keyboard is the customizable emojis on the right side of the keyboard. There are 4 'preloaded' emojis with a 5th button that gives access to not only a large set of emojis, but symbols, gifs, and other options - some keyed to the time of year, others to your personal tastes. If you tend to use emojis in your messaging/posts/etc., this gives you a lot of options.The Logitech Options software should be downloaded and installed before using either this keyboard or the matching Pop Mouse as it makes setup go so much more smoothly and easily. The software allows you to see what devices are in use, battery levels, connection type - LogiBolt or Bluetooth, and allows for configuration of each.Switching between devices via Bluetooth or LogiBolt USB device is quite simple. Once your device has been paired and configured for the keyboard, the function keys (F1 | F2 | F3) control what device currently has priority. That said, you CAN decide that you would prefer to use the Function keys 'normally' (with out using the fn button to access them. It's an option in the configuration software.Overall, my impression of this keyboard is that is is meant for the texting/social media savvy user. Gamers and programmers are probably not going to get a whole lot out of this one. Pair with the POP Mouse and enjoy.

The keyboard's build quality is also worth mentioning as it is pretty heavy and seems quite durable so if you're looking for something to carry around I would not suggest this unless its in a book bag or something. Very easy to setup, need to install software in order o change the emoji keys. Feel useless of those keys, once you changed, you donât have a keycap to match your choices. The keyboard doesnât come with transitional up and down etc keycaps, hopefully they will have those for sale in the future, I will change to normal functional keys instead of emoji.Bluetooth: after few weeks of use, the Bluetooth can suddenly disconnect regardless of using the USB receptor or not. Second situation is occasionally disconnected while I am trying. Pretty annoying.It does take some time to get used to the typewriter keycap, the distance is different than the normal keycap.
