While I feel the price was a bit much, you get what you pay for. This mouse pad was exactly what I needed alongside getting a Logitech wireless mouse to go with it. I was looking to leave Razer behind as their products and customer service are pretty subpar, especially for the prices they make consumers pay. I went from the Naga pro to this and the Logitech G502 and everything about the switch has been illuminating. No more docking my mouse when the battery gets low. The mouse is also been smoother to use itself. I've heard of Razers own version of this but after reading reviews that I expected to see speaking poorly of it's performance and reliability charging and staying connected I went with Logitech and although it's only been a few days, it's working wonders. ... MoreWhile I feel the price was a bit much, you get what you pay for. My G602 Ran on 2 AA Batteries for MONTHS of use. I Bought this for my new G502 that barely lasted a day. I have a Pod Mic and Goxlr Amp... and the ElectroMagnetic Interference (EMI) popping off of this thing made my headset and mic absolutely USELESS.After some trial and error with different shielding methods, I found the best solution was to place an 8x8" piece of aluminum foil, DIRECTLY UNDERNEATH the pad, which blocked the EMI without blocking the wireless charging that would have in turn, rendered this pad useless. It took me 10 minutes to figure out what an entire team of engineers and science geeks couldnt when they designed this product... and for that, I give this product 2 stars.

I just realized I've had this for over a year and hadn't reviewed it. I absolutely love the G series Powerplay. I have the G903 and haven't had an issue out of it. For the gaming I do, just started BF 2042, it's done everything I could ask. It remains in the 95% charged range and turns on from sleep very quickly. I would definitely buy this again.I only have two slight issues with it. Ones not really an issue, just some wisdom learned. Make sure you keep the mouse within the width of the receiver. I've noticed it not charge sometimes if I have the mouse too far to the right. No big deal, I just always leave it close to the receiver. The other is finding a replacement cloth mat. The one that came with it is still serviceable, but I will need/want a new one at some ... MoreI just realized I've had this for over a year and hadn't reviewed it. I'd not owned a single Logitech device in a number of years. After getting this and the G903 I became hooked.I also use this to do some PS and Premiere Pro work. I bought this because I own three different wireless Logitech gaming mice. In our house we have the Logitech G502 (my personal favorite) and two of the Logitech G703. The nice thing with this pad is as long as I switch out the circular piece on the mouse with the included magnetic circular piece that came with mousepad I can wirelessly charge any of those devices I listed above.Pros:-Nice no longer having to plug in my mouse for charging or searching for the USB to plug it in.- the included mouse pad options on top of the charging pad are mostly comfortable for extended periods of play- I have not seen my mouse get below 89% since purchasing this a couple months agoCons- this mouse pad on my desk surface feels slightly large and that it takes up quite a bit ... MoreI bought this because I own three different wireless Logitech gaming mice. I have a ROCCAT full size keyboard that the mousepad is almost as wide as.- switching out the magnetic charging device can be a bit of a pain at first but once you figure it out, it is easy to switch out between other G series mice.- Price, the price does seem somewhat steep when not on sale, however, if you find it on sale below $100 it is worth the desktop cleanup and being able to put away a charger.I also had noticed some feedback stating they had input lag issues but I have not experienced any.
Overall these are great and offer virtually instantaneous mouse response and constant charge readiness. I even have two of these now on custom gaming computers. BUT, as a side note the first one computer that received one of these has a “ghost” issue were randomly the computer will wake up while in sleep mode multiple times, and at this time I have no proof it is the mousepad itself, this issue didn’t occur previously. It may even be the super high sensitivity of the mouse/pad combo that simply walking by or disturbing the floor moves the mouse that much that the computer wakes up. Going to change the resolution sensitivity of the mouse to see if that helps but figured I’d mention it. I haven’t noticed the same issue on the second computer yet but the install was ... MoreOverall these are great and offer virtually instantaneous mouse response and constant charge readiness. But overall really happy with the response and user experience of the pad. Beats changing batteries or “charging” when needed.
I have had three of these. One was a replacement by Logitech. The issue is that the Powerplay will generate EMF interference while in the charging state, as indicated by the White LED on the pad receiver. I have the G903 Mouse, G910 Keyboard, and the Powerplay. I also use a Logitech MX Master 3 and Performance MX for productivity most of the time. I noticed the mouse cursor while using any other wireless mouse like the MX Master 3 or Performance MX was jittering, and I could not control it while the Powerplay was in the charge state! As soon as the charge state ended or I unplugged the Powerplay, the cursor would return to normal. As soon as the Powerplay returned to the charging state, the cursor would become erratic again! I also noticed the G903 generated a jittery mouse cursor while the Powerplay was in a charged state. It was not as bad as when using the MXM3, and I could select items, but the cursor was jittering until the charge state ended. So Logitech sent me a replacement Powerplay, and it had the same issue! Because I use my productivity Logitech mice the most, I would unplug the Powerplay pad to prevent the problem from occurring. When I wanted to game and use the G903 mouse, I would plug the Powerplay back in.Fast forward a few months, and I started to play Elden Ring on PC using an Xbox controller. I noticed intermittent issues with menu control. When trying to select or scroll through a menu using the Xbox controller, I could not choose anything, and it would jump around! At first, I thought this was a new game patch issue, but it continued to occur, and then I noticed the game was jittering slightly only on the monitor I was playing Elden Ring. When this issue remained after several patches, I discovered the Powerplay was causing the problem when it was in a charge state! Like the mice, once I disconnected the Powerplay USB cable or stopped charging, the issue would disappear.I connected the USB connection directly to my desktop and other USB ports, but the issue persists. All device Firmware and G-Hub software are up to date. I even purchased a third Powerplay pad from BestBuy, hoping Logitech may have changed something, but the issue continues even on the newest Powerplay. The Powerplay produces some EMF that impacts other wireless devices, speakers, and monitors. I am not sure how the Powerplay is affecting my monitor. Still, it is only occurring on the monitor I am playing Elden Ring on, leading me to conclude the interface is coming through the Xbox controller and maybe producing micro character movement, which looks like screen jittering on my monitor.I have contacted Logitech again regarding this issue. I have not seen many reviewers reporting this, but I believe this is because most owners only use a Logitech G Mouse, so they do not know the impact on other wireless devices. However, there are a few reviewers who, like me, use other wireless devices and are experiencing the same issue.
The Logitech Powerplay wireless charging pad is a game changer. In the packaging you will find a charger cable, soft pad, hard pad, the base, and rechargeable battery for the mouse (Photo 1).DesignThe top of the base is a soft rubber which provides grip to the blue plastic underside of the soft or hard pad (Photo 2). Switching is as easy as just lifting the padding off the base. Even though it’s relying solely on the rubber base for grip I haven’t had it move on me while using. There is also no movement from the base as the bottom is completely rubber providing complete grip to my wooden desk (Photo 3). The design is minimalistic with an all-black pad with the letter “G” in white at the bottom right and a RBG lighted G at the top (Photo 4). The design is minimalistic with an all-black pad with the letter “G” in white at the bottom right and a RBG lighted G at the top (Photo 4). Also due to how this is designed to switch between the hard and soft mouse pads, if either mouse pad wears down you can buy and replace just the mouse pad instead of the whole unit.MeasurementsThe charging pad measures at 12 11/16” (H) x 13 1/2” (W). However, just the mousepad it is 11 3/16” (H) x 13 ½” (W). Due to the height, it might be difficult to fit in a laptop bag (Photo 5). Also, the mouse pad does not fold or roll up due to the blue plastic that grips to the charging base.ChargingTo power the Logitech, it uses a proprietary port that connects to the base and then connects via USB-A to your laptop or your own charger (Photo 6). To prevent damaging and wearing out the rechargeable battery, the Logitech does not fully charge your mouse. Personally, it keeps my Logitech G502 X Plus at around 79% charge. The charging pad is for the mouse only and WILL NOT CHARGE YOUR PHONE. Also, for those that have a white mouse, the rechargeable battery comes in black.Personal ExperiencePros - Overall, I love the Logitech Powerplay wireless charging pad. I like the ease of switching, more so for replacing the soft pad. I like how it doesn’t keep your battery fully charged but enough to keep you on the go. I’m also a fan of the simplicity in its design, its solid grip, and the little bit of RBG lighting to match my setup.Cons – It’s a little too big for me personally. It takes up quite a bit of space on my desk and it makes portability in a bag difficult. I think it would have been perfect if it was 4-5in shorter in width. My other complaint is with the proprietary port, I would have preferred if this connected to the charging base via USB-C.OverallI would recommend this product.
This is a bit of a niche item, which is the only reason I can think of that it costs as much as it does. The surfaces included are quite nice, it's super easy to set up, and it does exactly what it's supposed to do. It keeps my Logitech G502 Lightspeed Wireless mouse charged at between 80-90%, meaning it never dies even with the lights left on permanently, and it doesn't damage the battery by overcharging. It replaces the wireless USB receiver that my mouse came with, but it does require being plugged into your PC with a wired USB connection, so there's no net gain of a port, but you gain a software-customizable glowing 'G' on your desk (this can be turned off if you're not a fan). The bottom line is, this is an overpriced wireless charging mat and Logitech ... MoreThis is a bit of a niche item, which is the only reason I can think of that it costs as much as it does. That being said, there isn't another product out there that does this particular job, let alone this cleanly, so if you're a marathon gamer, or someone who usually forgets to plug your wireless mouse in to charge, this is the only tool for you to keep mousin' without concern.I would recommend this product to a friend - but only if they fit one of those groups. Everyone else should just get a nice mousepad and remember to plug in.
I seriously wanted this thing to be what it was advertised as. I'm sure it's a power thing. When I plug the mouse into the wall adapter, it needs the 3.0A outlet to charge. This is likely the issue with the power deliver from the computer. The usb port simply cannot supply enough power. Could be that if I plug the pad into that wall adapter, it would alleviate all of the problems I've had. Of course this eliminates the connection to the pc that lets it communicate with their Windows app. Might just set it up like this anyways. Otherwise it's fine. Good texture. You get two pads that you can swap between, which is nice.
I spent $10k building my PC... after that I was reluctant to make frivolous purchases until I turned around and bought a $1400 RGB gaming desk. Sweet, I don't need anything else right?Well if you're like me and you use a G502 Lightspeed, you probably didn't want to have to plug it in every five hours, yet there we all are. I mulled over buying this mousepad for like 6 months and literally it costs more than I paid for the mouse itself but I have to say, it works. It's a big mousepad, takes up more space than I'd typically wish for it to but I've never had any problems with it. In fact, if it weren't something like 12x16 inches I'd probably forget about it.For $130, it's definitely ONLY a quality of life improvement because nobody is going to say they couldn't ... MoreI spent $10k building my PC... after that I was reluctant to make frivolous purchases until I turned around and bought a $1400 RGB gaming desk. My only complaints are 1) I wish it had a smaller form factor as my full size G915 keyboard means I have to push the mousepad really far away and I can't even use about 80% of the surface area, 2) the charging module replaces the circular weight on the bottom of the mouse by purposeful design and I personally like my G502 heavy but now it's down two weights. Whatever, after a while I just kind of don't notice it.
