So although it's easy to get it to point to where you want, it doesn't really have any sort of "swivel" for immediate tweaking (i.e: it's easy but you WILL need more than one hand and 2 seconds)- The camera is USB-C and the cable (which IS pretty beefy) is directly attached to the camera. It's got decent length but, with my particular setup it's squarely in the grey zone between being the ideal length or not quite long enough. With USB-C extensions being trickier to find, this CAN be an inconvenience.- It doesn't have a physical cover for when it's not in useAnd... yeah... that's it. Three minor things which aren't even really problems. I've sorted the cable and there is a n option tripod mount included if you want to replace the provided solution. Really other than the price being a bit high in comparison, I have to scrape the bottom of the barrel here to find any complaints. Great stuff, really

This Camera had great promise, but hasn't delivered. Choosing a type-c cable that cannot be replaced/disconnected is a terrible design flaw for most people with a PC, especially if you game. The camera has issues that Logitech ignore, and then proceed to blame the consumer for (i.e., their hardware) even if this issue is persistent on multiple devices, and multiple OS. There are other Logitech alternatives that are much better value, and it has aged poorly. Compared to its competitors, this is a webcam to avoid.

Pros: Good camera with decent quality and supporting software. Microphone is great. Good auto focus.Cons: Quality on video calls (MS Teams in particular) isn't amazing for the price, but this isn't the camera's issue, as the software simply can't utilise it fully. Once you open up any proper streaming/video recording programme the image quality is great and is configureable.

Excellent webcam with features that make it stand out from the crowd. The logitech software helps get the lighting right and I love the auto framing. I got a trial of xsplit in the box which does a great job of creating a professional blurred background look. It is really easy to either mount on a monitor, a tripod or my favourite: the microphone boom arm. It is useful that it automatically orients the picture. It benefits from having good lighting, but functions okay without depending on your room.It would have been nice to have a detachable usb cord. I have had to use a usb 3 extension a few times. It is low latency when plugged directly into the motherboard.

Pros: very good camera. I bought this to replace my current cheap webcam which I had purchased over lockdown when working from home. With working from home returning I thought it would be a good time to upgrade my webcam and chose to go with the Logitech stream cam. I use the webcam quite heavily every day and it has been so much better quality. The webcam has a decent weight to it and comes with both a monitor stand and a mounting stand to allow it to be mounted to a tripod. The Logitech stream cam can be used as a standard webcam or it can be paired with the capture software for more software-based features. I would recommend pairing with the software as it unlocks very useful features with the webcam and working from home.Cons: Nothing that I can see so far is a ... MorePros: very good camera. Camera is good, but the USB-C connection is fragile.

This is a good webcam, although some might find the field of view a little wide. It works perfectly on Linux. It's big, but that's because it has a decent sized sensor inside it. A nice feature is that it comes with a tripod mount and also can be mounted upside down or vertical easily. It's a bit odd that this camera comes with a USB-C connector, given that most people will be using it on desktop machines which still largely have USB-A (the rectangular ones). I plugged mine into my monitor as it has a spare USB-C port, but somehow when I moved the monitor it bent the connector and snapped the metal sheath off.I don't know if this is poor manufacturing on Logitech's part, but I've never had a USB connector do this before. Star off for that.In the end I replaced ... MoreThis is a good webcam, although some might find the field of view a little wide. It works perfectly on Linux. Far from great
1 November 2022

Got this a few months ago and its probably the worst purchase so far. Camera’s quality is good but the image quality is not that great. Out of the box it is overexposed and the white balance is extremely cold. I got it for macbook so I could keep it closed shell setup. Got every possible Logitech app to control it but its so manual that it needs adjusting throughout meetings just to keep the light at correct levels. Its usually 3 steps above 0 and a slightest change in light just blacks out or blows out the image.

Great camera but lose mount on a short USB-C cable

The Logitech Streamcam offers full HD and great colour at 60fps, which pretty much says all you need know if you want high quality non-jittery video. The camera is however, bundled with some brilliant downloadable software which is very helpful in order to run the camera at its best. You can choose between frame rate or exposure priority, image stabilisation, auto white balance, 50 or 60Hz anti-flicker and even auto framing. Options to flip the image horizontally or vertically whilst streaming can be pre-set and there is even a picture-in-picture option for two camera sources. You can also take snap shots of the screen or record a video. I found the autofocus feature great for moving around, whilst the 50/60 Hz antiflicker features to be the most helpful when dealing with indoor lighting. The only hiccup was the clip-in mount which is intended for portrait or landscape shots. Whilst the camera clips easily into the two supplied mounts, which fit onto a tripod or the top of a screen, the mounts are a little loose. This results in undesirable camera movement when the cord gets bumped. The cord is also a little on the short side and you may need a USB-C extension. Yes, I said USB-C. I had a spare USB-C socket, but most people with an older computer may not. It's easy to get an extension cord or an adapter, but to avoid frustration when you get the camera home, check out your system before you shop.

Really good webcam. Great video quality, autozoom, easy install. Has only 2 downsides: 1. You need the logitec app running in order to use this in OBS. Which drains some CPU (minor, but still some). It may become an issue if your content/stream needs multiple softwares open. 2. The photo/screenshot quality is really really bad. Surprisingly bad! No matter what you do with lightening and background (I have a 2 light setup and a green screen in an isolated room). I don’t use its in built microphone since I use a studio microphone, so I can’t comment on it.Overall, this is a perfect webcam if you just wanna have a high quality video for work, presentations, personal use. Reduce the number of the apps running simultaneously and use a separate camera for photo.

This is the best webcam I've ever used
18 May 2022

I work in a multinational company. I bought this webcam for personal use. It's better than the official webcams approved by IT that are used by the company, so whenever we have townhalls or big international meetings with senior leadership - we use my webcam. This is a webcam designed for professional streamers. It is unbeatable in terms of quality in its price range. You can easily pop it out of the holder and plug it back in to use vertically - and then flip it back for horizontal view. The clip easily attaches to screens, desks, chairs, whatever furniture you want to attach it to. It only works well with USB-C so make sure you have a USB-C port. If you use an adapter you may see a quality drop.
