Logitech USB Headset Mono H650e

I bought this to use in lockdown for video-conferencing, so I've had it about a month and and it does the job perfectly. Compact, lightweight, comfortable and installed on Windows as plug'n'play. The USB cable includes mute and volume controls, but in practice I've never used them.

Excellent Sound

The sound quality is excellent! It has in-line controls for volume and mute, very light weight. Con: the end without an earpiece could use some cushioning if your head is sensitive. I cut a small piece to match the end, from a sponge/rubber type mouse pad and attached it double-sided tape. Works perfect!

I have had this item for more than a month now and let me be very honest with you, with the exception of the headsets I used as an Air Traffic Controller, This is THE ABSOLUTE BEST/BAR NONE. I purchased the VERY, SUPER EXPENSIVE BOSE HEADSET, and sent it back. It picked up every sound within 20 feet of the microphone, and fed it into the earpiece. You could not understand what you were saying because of the feedback loop. I use Nuance Dragon 14, and I had problems with every headset I owned. Microsoft said it was a headsets were the problem, because I was using it with Their Home and Student product, and they weren't compatable. Great sound quality and comfortable

I had a pair of these a couple of years back and recently I cracked the plastic that goes over the head. So I bought another pair as I couldn't find anything else that looked as good. They are comfortable and have great sound quality.

I just got these today so take this as my initial review after test driving them in an online class. I needed a headset for online teaching. I originally purchased the logitech h540 headsets but after 1 use I noticed that they USB connector didn't stay securely plugged in and the cord was tight and bent leading to a lot of feedback in the headset. I returned those and bought this set. I use these on a mac and set up was simply plug and play. This set is much lighter and more comfortable for extended wear. The headphones and the microphone are much better quality than the h540. The cord is the flat style rubberized cord which minimizes interference and allows the cord to stay out of the way unlike thick round cords which tend to bunch up and get in the way. An added bonus are the indicator lights which are great for knowing when you are muted.Overall I would say this is a win for anyone who needs a comfortable headset for Skype calls or online teaching. I teach ESL online but wearing headphones for extended periods hurts my ears, and eventually, my head. So I shelled out more money for fancier headphones to hopefully solve that problem. And I wouldn't say it's gone, but it's significantly better and tolerable with these, so that's nice. But the noise canceling microphone part of it is a joke. And I need that more than the comfortable headphones part. Because not canceling out the noise of my neighbors dog barking, could cost me my job. And my $20 headset from Home Essentials Direct does that. For such an expensive headset, finding out the dog barking was heard on the video by a student was extremely disappointing.

As someone who purchases gaming headsets quite often, and multiple times over the years. I can honestly say this is quite possibly the best headset I have ever owned. VERY light weight. Very reasonable price point, and so far the quality of sound and voice output has been right on. The only suggestion I would have for these. Is the stationary Mic. Im so use to flipping them up and down. Also, the ear pieces would be amazing if they were slightly larger, but by no means are they uncomfortable. Neither of these things would deter me from purchasing them again in the future, and in fact. I purchased a second pair after receiving these for my husband. Would HIGHLY recommend.

I was all but completely convinced at the quality of the set after sampling a few DTS videos on YouTube. I didnt think that at this price point I would be able to...feel...a sound at a specific point in space around my person. If its a ping pong ball bouncing, bullets being fired, a crash in the distance, or anything else you can imagine, the sound and precision of the location will get your attention. Its seriously impressive. The comfort is spot on. The set fit my head averagesmaller sized head straight away. The noise canceling microphone is not only efficient but very durable. When attached it looks like its a permanent piece to the headset. It is flexible and rigid enough to stay in place when its at your desired shapeangle. And you can easily take it out and put it to the side if you have no need for it at the moment. And last, but not least, there are instructions provided in the packaging on exactly how to replace the rechargeable battery when the time comes. I cant tell you how much that is appreciated. This is a great set and I absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a headset in this price range. The sound features and comfort will win you over real fast.

These headphones were picking up radio signals and playing it at a very low volume in the background when no sound was being played from my laptop. I tried it on multiple computers and got the same issue. It also repeats your own voice back, but completely distorted, making it hard to concentrate on the conversation. I may have got a dud, but I didn't think it was worth it to try an exchange as it worked but worked terribly.

Way better than ear buds!

exceeded my expectation. Way better than Ear Buds that I was using for my work web meetings. People can actually hear me now.
