Logitech Wireless Mouse M310 (Black)

This is my second Logitech mouse -- same model, same color. The first one still works great after 4 years -- I just wanted a second mouse to keep in my briefcase so I wouldn't have to remember to pack up the one on the desk and take it with me when the work must happen outside the home office. For less than $20 it's a deal. Uses a standard AA battery. In my experience, use an alkaline battery and it will last just about a year, which is pretty darn good. Also, next to the battery slot there's a handy little storage compartment for the USB transmitter that plugs into your laptop. I know some people will spend $75 on a computer mouse, though I've never understood why. They don't track any better than a mouse tha costs under $20, like this one.

I love it! I wanted a wireless mouse for my computer at work, I knew that I would get great quality at a great price with this item. The mouse glides smoothly and effortlessly on my mousepad. It is precise and works great. The brand name speaks for itself. I am a loyal user of Logitech, even when it costs slightly more than another brand. My wireless mouse at home is also a Logitech.I cannot praise this product and brand enough. I highly recommend it. You cannot go wrong with this product and Logitech. Extremely satisfied. Sidebar...their (Logitech) customer service is great as well.

I didn't buy this because I wanted to.I bought it to replace a malfunctioning Logitech product.Over the course of a few months the trackball I had got hard to use. The wheel would not work correctly. I could scroll up, but not down. I used compressed air to clear it, and that worked a few times. But I could never get the actual obstructive material out of the device.Why? they intentionally designed the trackball so I could not get into that are of the trackball to clean it properly. I had to take it to a "professional" repair place or buy something completely new.I was able to use the compressed air to get some of the hair (mostly its pet fur) out of the device, but it just didn't work any more. The wheel will stop working. I have a pet, so I will get fur in the mouse. Its not if, it's when and how much.
