However, this isn't an issue for me playing Far Cry or whatever, and the music is still enjoyable. I'll primarily be listening to podcasts + audiobooks and I bought these to suit my setup. The remote puck is really simple to use (and it doesn't feel cheap) and has good gradations of volume. I have my computer attached by USB and the volume control is fed back to the PC - adjusting either adjusts the other. It is worth noting that the remote puck is essential - without it you couldn't use them, as there are no buttons on the speakers.Overall: Great speakers, I'm very happy, they do the trick, but if they were just for music, or if my PC could output easily to bookshelf speakers (+my desk had space), I think I'd go that route instead. For the (reduced) price I'm pretty pleased, but more money would have got me better sound as well as the input flexibility (Logitech Z623 (no remote, old bluetooth), G560 (I don't need lights, still no remote). In future if I get more space I won't buy computer speakers again, I'll buy music speakers and make do for gaming, maybe connect them with a 3.5mm audio jack. Also notable, it was cardboard instead of plastic in the packaging (apart from the polybags). The Edifiers were surrounded by styrofoam.

Great set of speakers with amazing sound

Great set of speakers with amazing sound. I have a Logitech streaming camera, keyboard/mouse, so decided to go with what I know, and what I am happy with. The only (small) problem I had was opening the sound controller to add the batteries. Needed to YouTube it, several videos later I worked it out! Other than that, easy to set-up. The internal packing was superb. I am very happy with this purchase.

Great sound BUT one BIG negative

I love the sound quality of these speakers. It's fantastic! But the big gripe I and many others have is the speakers have a really annoying notification sound played at a high volume, whenever the device is turned on/off. Despite having a micro-USB port on the back, Logitech has chosen to ignore the many customer complaints asking for a firmware update to silence that noise.I know this does sound like a minor complaint, but over time, the sound becomes increasingly annoying, especially for anyone needing a quiet environment for work/parenting. Such a shame to have this great product with an Achilles heel. Hopefully Logitech will consider developing an easy firmware patch fix.

Great sound, but no driver support and lots of quirks
30 January 2023

There is no software to control how these speakers work. When your computers turn on they auto connect and it make a VERY loud connection sound that you have no way to control. They for some reason time out in games because they think there is no audio coming out of them and just stop. The dial to control the volume takes a very long time to connect. They sound good, but all of these quirks make them a bad buy. Also the cable to connect it via usb does not work for any of my computers. Doesn't show up as an audio option.

Great speakers for any location!
16 July 2022

I needed Speakers for my PC but didn't have a lot of space. The Logitech Z407 speakers solved that problem!I can now lay the satellite speakers on their side with the included stands and they fit neatly between my desk and the bottom of my monitors. The sub was easily located on the floor and because these speakers come with a wireless controller, I can adjust the volume with ease!OH!! And I can connect to the speakers via cable to my PC or Bluetooth from my phone (or any other device with Bluetooth)Top that off with great quality sound!I would highly recommend these speakers!

This speaker system, well put simply, punches well above it’s weight class. It’s louder, has more bass and just is plain better than anything else for the price. The only downside is that the Bluetooth “puck” can be fiddly at times, and turning it upside down to change inputs leads to inadvertently clicking it to mute. Ensuring optimal amounts of panic as you try to figure out why it isn’t making noise.Nevertheless, if you are the slightest tech savvy and willing to deal with it a bit. This is a great bit of kit for the home user.P.S. The two RCA cables that connect the Satellite speakers to the Sub, are a bit dodgy. My Updated Review

I still like these speakers, but there are some issues you would need to consider prior to purchase. 1. As mentioned ptreviously: The speakers give a very loud musical sound on activation and deactivation of the computer. You cannot control this with volume control nor speaker driver updates. This is a problem if you are working late at night as the sound of the speakers closing down is intrusive. Removing the speaker cords, prior to shutting down is the work around. Then reconnect these after. But this is an inconvenience, especially if your speaker locations make cord access difficult!. The 2nd issue is, that on some apps the speakers actually overrule your volume choice. On numerous occasions I have purposely changed my computer volume to low, and before my eyes the volume slider moves to mid-way, with a loud sound effect! So I repeat and it does the same move and sound at me. The only way I could lower the volume was to use the speaker remote control. BUT this is inconsistent as it does let me control some apps via the computer audio controls. The forced volume and chastising sound are intrusive late at night when low volume is needed. Although, I still like these seakers, they are a hassel, and I would NOT recommend purchasing them, unless you were prepared for these inconveniences. I don't know what Logitech were thinking!

Stuttering Issues
4 June 2023

Bought these from another seller but was having a hard time leaving a review. I loved these speakers, keyword being "loved" they started off working really well and I loved them especially the wireless volume control. However, recently I started having issues where the audio is stuttering or skipping. I thought it was the streaming service I was using but it happens on anything that plays audio. I have tried multiple things to maybe try and fix the issue such as uninstalling the audio drivers, re-connecting the device and other methods as well. I have tried other speakers (not Logitech) and don't have any issues.

The speakers are Really good, you won't regret it!
7 August 2022

Just get them, trust me.I just wanted a little more oomph when listening to music on my personal laptop, but while at work, I can also lower the bass, thanks for that option 100%, and just use the speakers as regular ones for work. So technically, they're like two sets of speakers that can also connect to multiple laptops at the same time, to use as you choose freely. But honestly, the first set that was delivered, were not working correctly, but Customer Service took care to reimburse me. I was emailed the return label, and returned them. I immediately bought another pair from them because there's no exchange, just a return for reimbursement, but so what, I'm not complaining. The speakers are Really good, you won't regret it.

Very nice. Sounds good
6 June 2023

They're great. I have it connenected next to my bed. Bass is good and the speakers are good. I had another set of Logitech speakers much cheaper and they didn't sound so nice. These are great. Easy to control volume with the dial. Only small complaint is the dial's feet are not as grippy as they should be. So if i go to rotate the volume, sometimes the whole dial moves and sometimes just the part that's supposed to does.
