Lomo Instant Camera - Sanremo

Bought this as a gift for my husband who loves all things retro, and he loves it!! I really like that they include a bunch of sample photo cards with the settings so that you can take fun pictures even if you aren't that camera savvy (because he very much is not.)

A great camera for instant photos

Amazing level of control for an instant camera. Ability to double expose and control exposure, as well as different lens options make this the best instant camera I've seen.

Defective and potentially dangerous

The camera worked well for the first 15 shots of film I took. However, I noticed the camera wasn't working (nothing happened when I pressed the shutter button) and checked the batteries to see if there was a problem. The batteries were incredibly hot, and there was a distinctive burning smell coming from the camera. I was scared that a potential electrical fire would start, so I took out the batteries and stopped using it. Maybe mine was a defective model, but this was a total waste of money.

Fun Camera

I had to adjust my expectations for this camera. After a few days I am really enjoying it. It has quirks noted in all the reviews I read, and the photos are not sharp. I am getting some fun shots of my grandchildren. I shoot with a Sony Mirrorless and Samsung phone, both take better pictures, both cost much more. This camera adds a new tool to my kit and I am happy to have it.

Good quality snap & bit pricey

In terms of look A+++ but expensive for what you get compared to other ones. Pretty great features like turning the flash off. Multiple exposures and long exposure. Photos look really good when everything is right (light-back ground etc,) otherwise you need to learn how to take good photos. One downside is using CR2 batteries for camera. In total its a pretty fun camera if you dont mind the photo sizes.

I have only taken one picture but it came out nice! I love all the features and possible combinations. Really beware of how you put the batteries in, though. I almost returned it because I thought there was an issue with the camera when in fact it was how the batteries were going in. I love the camera's design. Quick shipping.

Lomo instant camera

Ordered this camera mid December. Never shipped out of warehouse. Tracking number never did anything. Jan 10, Bespoke sends another one. Apparently on Jan 17 it said the package was just 100 miles away, it’s not Jan 21 and the package still says it’s in the same location.I’m just at a loss why I can’t get accurate tracking info - the tracking number doesn’t even go through usps at all.I can’t even request an issue again until the camera doesn’t “move for 7 days” per customer service team.Just confused. Camera looked cool- wonder if I’ll ever receive it tbh

Lomo instant camera

Item was listed as NEW, but how can something be new if its an open box, did not come with what a NEW Lomo Instant camera comes with. He did list what you see is what you get but you should not list the item as new if its an open box and only include camera, and a manual. Item was poorly packaged with not even a bubble wrap or at least paper so the camera doesnt hit all around the inside of the box.

Sadly it took pitch black pictures after 1st use

I just got my Lomo Instant camera, the adventure challenge. I used it for the very first time, it took 8 good pictures then stoped working. All the pictures all came out pitch black and I wasted 2 film cartages.

The Wide format the camera.

The best part about this camera is the wide format. The camera itself seems really inconsistent deciding the right exposure. I would say I only got 4/10 photos with the right exposure. I tried adjusting the exposure, flash but it decides the exposure based on the light hitting the meter and not an overall exposure. Nevertheless you might be surprised with the photos and start loving it.But this isn't even my biggest complain, the worst part about the camera is the eyepiece. You'd probably need 20 tries until you understand how to frame with the totally offset eyepiece.
