Perfect camera for simple shooting! Very nice and compact and affordable! Retrospekt included some nice gifts in the package and the delivery was pretty fast.

A good little camera.

Was impressed with this little camera when I received it. The problem I came across was that the frame counter stuck on 36. Thought this was a factory problem, put in a film from my own stock and same happened. To their credit, AW have accepted for examination.

Affordable introduction to Film photography but warning needs flash in relatively low light

If you want an affordable introduction to film photography this is the way to go. But be warned the pre-loaded film the Lady Grey ISO 400, despite having a 400 ISO rating, needs bright light for a reasonable exposure in my opinion, and probably would benefit with flash when not brightly-lit with this camera. When it does expose correctly it does achieve the required aesthetic. This however was not the case when I re-loaded with an Ilford XP2 film, again with an ISO 400, which I thought exposed correctly under cloudy conditions. Anyway judge for yourself with the two pics (the car was taken with the pre-loaded and the Norman Church with the Ilford film)?

As Simple at it gets
12 September 2019

This really was a simple, fun little camera to use. The video review that AW posted says it all really - I used this to record a day in my life without the complications of the exposure triangle or worries about getting my expensive camera damaged. The flash wasn’t used a lot but it charged up much quicker than the manufacturers claim although no doubt that will get longer as the (replaceable) battery starts to expire. I bought the B&W version so it has no attached filters but am going to pop a roll of colour film in next to see what that does. I’m looking forward to getting my negatives back from Digitalab soon.

Bought one as a gift for a friend who likes things likes this. I figured he would have some fun with it over the Xmas and New Year festivities.

Definitely recommend it

As for simple use, amateur camera which you can use multiple times, it's a pretty good deal. It's cheap, easy to use and reloadable. Pretty good for adventures with your friends.

Fun and straightforward

I'm still taking photos with this so no idea how good they'll turn out to be, but I've loved going out and taking pictures; with film the process of having to be choosy about what you shoot is as important as the pictures themselves, and just for tgat this nifty little camera is worth every penny.

Great! But counter not working?
7 April 2020

Bought this camera for my friend and she loves it! Only problem is the number on the counter hasn’t gone down at all even though she’s taken loads of photos. Really hoping that the camera is actually taking photos! I guess we will find out when the film is developed.

Nice simple camera
5 November 2021

I picked up this camera not expecting much but I was honestly blown away by the simplicity of this camera. No fancy settings, just point and shoot and it is so freeing to experience this again. I've enjoyed being able to step back and not have to think about my photography so much. It's just a nice cheap camera that acts like a disposable just isn't as wasteful!

Very frustrated
12 November 2020

I bought this camera and used the preloaded films and the photos came back really great. However, when I reloaded the camera and took another films worth of photos and sent them away, I was told it was completely blank. I am aware you are to reload at your own risk, but I found it incredibly difficult to do this and was taking photos thinking the camera was working, only to find it had just wasted film. Be aware of this?
