BIG disappointment

Have long aspired to owning a Longchamp backpack. What a disappointment. It must be one of the worst designed backpacks EVER. The top zip is not easy to use, to open and shut bag, always a struggle, needing 2 hands. There are no inside pockets, except for a useless small slit/pouch which does not close and is not secure. Then the adjustable back straps are way too long and the extra, loose straps just hang untidily. VERY unhappy. The only good thing is that the bag is very comfortable to wear.

Lightweight, convenient and roomy.

This is the fourth or fifth Le Pliage Nylon Backpack I have purchased. I love them. They are lightweight. It is just one large compartment plus a small pocket for keys or whatever small item you want to put in there. I love being prepared. I often carry my full sized wallet, a notebook, pens, small makeup case. Depending on the day, I have carried bottles of water and even an extra pair of shoes if I'm concerned my feet might hurt. You should totally buy this backpack purse. It is even easy to pack.

My Every Day Bag

I just purchased my second backpack after 8 years of using my first on a daily basis. This bag is so versatile-it is light weight and is great for those with back issues. I have traveled with it overseas since it holds every item I need for the plane (book included), and is light and big enough to hold a water bottle, glasses, wallet and phone when sightseeing. I have used it as a beach bag (towel included) and as a shopping bag. The quality has been excellent—no rips, frays, stains, or zipper issues. Highly recommended!

My go-to bag for every occasion

I’m constantly on the move, and my Longchamp backpack has become an absolute essential. After getting my first one for a trip, I’ve since added several more colors to my collection because it’s the perfect blend of practicality and style. Whether I’m traveling, running errands, or just out for the day, it’s my go-to bag for every occasion. My only wish? That it were just a touch larger to comfortably fit my 13-inch laptop without feeling like I'm pushing its limits.

Wow, what can I NOT say about this bag. Its so practical to have and a must have in your life. I'm thankful its in mine and so very happy with how durable, versatile and fashionable this backpack is. First off, let me mention how it arrives.. packed up, folded neatly and small(noticeably one of Longchamps traits). Ideal to take in my luggage on local getaways or holidays.The material is synthetic/nylon and feels really durable. It's water resistant and has already been caught in a down poor and kept my items dry. I was worried about the cowhide leather getting ruined when out in the rain but it managed well. I'm quite the leather fan and absolutely love the suede thats visible on the inside of the leather tab. I've been wearing mine quite lose to nip to shops with so I can throw it on and off the shoulder - talking of shops, theres a nifty little pocket inside to put your purse in(must be small) which I felt was very secure as it wasn't visible at first.Size wise, perfect for me as I don't carry a lot of items but I can definitely see it might be an issue for those that like to pack a lot of things when going out. Its not minature but there are bigger bags out there. So if you want a small city bag, this is the one for you.Styling wise, this bag goes with a lot of my things: jeans and casual day dresses, beautifully paired with a pair of Hunter wellies and my Birkenstocks.

[Rewarded Review] As expected

I knew this was small and the style as I went into a Longchamp store a while ago to look at it. It meets my needs for what I wanted it for, to stuff in my travel bag when traveling and use as a satellite for on the go. Great color that goes with everything, adjustable straps, not too large but enough room to throw stuff in there. Absolutely no organization so if that's important for you bypass this one.

It’s a small book bag with not many compartments. It’s a book back version of the tote does have that slip pocket in the front and just open space I think it’s good for like wallet keys phone and maybe a planner agenda but not much more than that. I got it because I found The tote to be better for my son as a baby bag since it holds more and I purchased a bag just so that I could keep my necessaries around and you know be hands-free when I put both straps on over my back when I’m with my child. So it’s nifty for that. I don’t think you’ll get the same value in terms of space for the money versus the tote. [Rewarded Review] Great little backpack!

I love Longchamp and wanted a small backpack for traveling. I ordered this because other reviews indicated that it holds a laptop as well as personal items. I can't imagine what laptop would fit? Maybe an iPad? But it's the perfect size to travel with, holds wallet, phone etc as well as water bottle and a book. It would be perfect if it had an outside pocket for phn, but I love it anyway

missed opportunity

I bought this bag because I already have 2 le pliage bags so am familiar with the brand but that , in the end, caused an error of judgement on my part. I wanted a light, smart backpack for the city that could be worn even with summer clothes. The photo and the dimensions were right and although it is described as a "mini" it allowes even for an umbrella. My mistake was that I overlooked, due to my expectation of the slim handles that normally come with longchamp bags, the back wide cotton straps which are shown in the photo. They, although the right colour, rule the bag out for lighter clothes and, in general make the bag more of a backpack. Although it is entirely my mistake, I believe that it is a poor design- a smart, clean cut bag described as "mini" intended for city use should not have wide cotton straps but the usual thin, sleek straps.
