I've just purchased my second round of these tops in various shades. Sizes are very true to size, I prefer the swing version as it's very flattering. I have a skin condition that means I burn instantly if in the sun, even with 50+ applied, so I have to wear long sleeves if out, these tops are awesome, they feel cool & weightless even when you've been exercising for a few hours and dry quickly. I made the mistake of using laundry soaker on my previous white one, try not to do that, as it messes with the overall whiteness, vinegar is good for armpits if stubborn stains.

I have a number of Solbari items made of this sensitive fabric and it is soft, cool and very breathable. I liked that this top has a flattering shape and fit despite being looser. I also bought a size larger than my usual size. I bought this top specifically for travel to a muslim country, as it covers the arms and bottom and is perfect for a bit of extra modesty. Love the pale green colour too.

Lovely quality, material & make. However, too small. Why does Solbari not provide plus sizes for bigger bodies? We are at risk of skin cancers, melanomas & need sun protection clothing the same as everyone else. This is most disappointing and a form of discrimination.

I am so disappointed in this product. It is supposed to sit sensitive skin but the seams are extremely abrasive and uncomfortable. As soon as the item arrived and I tried on the shirt I could feel how rough the seams were along the sleeves . I hoped it might be okay once it was on rather than being pulled over my skin as I donned the garment. Unfortunately it remained so uncomfortable I cannot wear the item. I can't see it's worth returning from the UK to Australia, so this has turned out to be a substantial waste of money. I expected better from Solbari based on prior purchases but this has totally failed in being suitable for more sensitive skin despite being sold as such. It is also a very long garment, more like a tunic than a normal top length. I find the cut unflattering but I do't consider this a product defect as I do in the case of the prominent and rough seams.
I would recommend - I ordinarily never wear crew neck styles, but have found myself getting sunburnt just doing incidental things - taking washing in and out to the line, etc. I purchased two of these (grey and black) and they prevented me from sun exposure driving in the car and out and about on two family holidays in very hot weather approaching 40 degrees, along the Victorian coastline. The hybrid bamboo/cotton fabric is far softer and more comfortable than ordinary cotton, so rather than wearing long sleeves and overheating, I actually felt cooler. This particular t-shirt also looks very attractive with shorts or leggings, styled as ordinary sportswear - and it covers the hips and groin, so if you prefer not to have every inch of your figure on show, it suits. I'm an average size 16 in Aust & bought the XXL in dark blue. The top fits me loosely which is quite flattering. It's not baggy at all. The 1st thing I noticed was how soft it was. And the blue is a beautiful shade.I normally wear long sleeve merino tops to go hiking. I actually bought this to go kyaking but tried it out on a hike recently. It feels as comfortable and breathable as merino. The sweat seems to dry off as quickly as merino, but I was more smelly in it. So if I was going on a multi day hike where I needed to wear the same top for several days ... I'd stick with merino, but for single day hikes, I think I prefer the softness of this bamboo top.I'm very happy with my purchase.

A good looking top that can be worn even when the sun isn’t a factor—the SPF is a bonus. I prefer this style over the one with the more sporty straightcut—it’s more fashionable and has comfortable ease all around. Lovely fabric and well constructed. It has a sewn-in label instead of the stamp in the back. I also have the navy stripe version.A small wish…I don’t have long arms, but I would like a bit more sleeve length to offer more coverage over my hands when needed.
I have had a recent skin cancer scare and decided I needed to get serious about protection, I did think the items a little expensive - however, the quality, fit and overall look and feel of every item I have bought (a sun hat and 3 swing t shirts) have all surpassed my expectation. Bought one for me and one for daughter. So soft and comfortable. I love the material and the fit. The sun is strong where we live so we need the protection and we might as well be comfortable and look good too!I am 5 feet 4 inches and 125 pounds.
