I am a huge lotr fan and collector. I preordered this item as soon as it was available. I am extremely disappointed in the quality of materials used. Feels very cheap and definitely not up to Weta standard. Does not come with batteries and I found it hard to find the correct type. Overall very disappointing.

For this kind of price point, I would expect some form of USB port, or a rechargeable battery. Instead it comes with a need for a battery type which is kind of fiddly, and annoying to get, and as far as I am aware, isn't available in a rechargeable format. There is also plenty of room in the base to fit a AAA battery, which would have been much more accessible. The LED light is moderate, and unspectacular when used with regular water. The Box blurb, and the website description claims it uses 1 CR2032 battery. However the interior materials and the battery compartment claims it uses 3 LR44 batteries, of a different type than the box says. Which is misleading. Overall this is disappointing.
