I don't wear a lot of makeup and some days none at all. But even on those days when I ditch all foundation, mascara, and lipstick, I'll always give my brows a quick little "touch-up" and fill. Having somewhat-defined eyebrows is like my security blanket to venture out into the greater world. And for gals like me who have no great skillset for applying makeup, this L'Oreal brow stylist is a perfect tool. First, the super thin tip allows me to fill in small bare spots with pretty good precision, and it encourages me to use a more natural-looking, wispy stroke. It's easy to brush/blend in, and it stays in place pretty well all day--even when sweating in the summer sun

This is THE ONLY eyebrow pencil that I will use. I’ve tried SO MANY Anastasia Brow Wiz, Trestique (which I do like a lot), Chella so many other drugstore brands that I can’t name them. lol But girls! If you want a fine tip like the Brow Wiz high pigmentation at a super affordable price, THIS IS IT!!! I buy a 2 Pack at Walmart for $11.99. Try it, you won’t be disappointed. Oh, annnnd, there are SO MANY SHADES to choose from. Stay Beautiful! 🤟🏽♥️

This is the best eyebrow pencil i’ve ever used. It’s super affordable — around $10 and I get it from anywhere that sells drugstore makeup. It glides on super smoothly and stays on all day. There are a ton of shades and the thin pencil tip allows for super precise lines and shaping the eyebrow. I’ve tried other ones and this has always been my go-to.

My ideal brow routine consists of two products: the Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade and the It Cosmetics Brow Power Universal Brow Pencil. However, when I was moving in June, I had somehow lost the pencil I had just repurchased and me, being my stubborn self, decided to go over 5 months without a brow pencil.I was at Target and decided I should find a drugstore alternative. As a redhead, it was hard to find brow friendly products when I started wearing makeup in 2009 at 16, but it's 2017, and the market has expanded wondrously (and also I remembered I wear the Dipbrow shade in blonde so a blonde eyebrow shade should be fine). The L'Oreal Brow Stylist Definer pencil is very sleek in design and twists up, which are two things I look for in a brow pencil. The formula is very creamy and blends very easily. The fine tip makes it easy to simulate hair strokes. I'm able to use this on its own as well as with my Dipbrow Pomade, typically I'll use the brow pencil to line my brow and the pomade to fill it in, but they've got such similar consistencies. One con I can list is that I can tell that I'm going to use this up quickly. I have to twist it up several time per brow during use. I attribute that to the creaminess of the formula. It's not a deal breaker for me, but I thought it was something worth mentioning.Overall, this is a great brow pencil and I definitely recommend picking this one up!
I turned to this pencil after being fed up with , which I had moved on to as a cheaper alternative to my . For boasting so many colors, Micro Brow can not get a deep brown shade right! Espresso is still quite warm and Black is too stark for my dark, almost black Asian hair that has no cool tones in it but has no red tones either. I would feel okay with my brows in indirect natural light but then get a glimpse of them in the sun and be horrified at how warm they were looking. Since I have such sparse natural brows, it was noticeable the color disparity because of how much I have to fill in. Now Brow Stylist has fewer colors than Micro Brow and you can't look inside the cap to see the color in-store, but out of despair I took a chance on Dark Brunette, and it is ... Now Brow Stylist has fewer colors than Micro Brow and you can't look inside the cap to see the color in-store, but out of despair I took a chance on Dark Brunette, and it is actually a great match for a dark almost-black brown (closer to Brow Wiz in Ebony). It also has the slightly stiffer formula of Brow Wiz, whereas I always felt Micro Brow was a bit softer, which made it harder to get more precise brow strokes. Otherwise, it is virtually identical to the other two products, with the same slim spoolie that makes it easy to get close to the skin to brush out lines if you mess up. It also has the nice design feature of having a clear cap on the spoolie end, so you don't mix up the pencil/spoolie sides. Same amount of product - and it's $1 cheaper than Micro Brow. This is my go-to slim brow pencil from now on.
The L’Oréal Brow Stylist Definer has to be my favorite new eyebrow pencil hands down. I love the ultra thin tip of the pencil and that it’s self sharpening. The spooli is added bonus. I love using to comb out my brow hairs before using my brow stylist Definer. The shade brunette is the perfect color to emulate the natural color of my brow hairs. The brow stylist Definer is so easy to use and has amazing color payoff. I didn’t have to worry about the color fading off because it last all day and it’s waterproof. This pencil outlines the shape of my eyebrows beautifully. Because the tip is so ultra fine, it makes shaping and filling them so much easier. So, I finally reached the point where, if I want eyebrows, I have to make them. I’m a blonde so that lends a whole new level of difficulty to this game. But, L’Oreal has made the game a whole lot easier. This eyebrow pencil works! It goes on smooth and rich—shaping is a breeze. It’s the perfect color of blonde—not too light, but a nice rich shade. The brush too allows you to add definition and the color stays on all day! I’ve ordered 10 of these pencils— you know how the one perfect product always seems to be discontinued or out of stock just when you need it. My only complaint (why I gave it a 4) is that when you think it has run out—there is still about a quarter of an inch of pencil below the tube—I found out by accident when my “used up” tube became crushed on ... I really hate wasting product, so now I break the tube away and get another couple of weeks use out of the pencil.
I loved the Flower Draw the Line brow pencil but those don’t seem to exist in blonde any longer so I tried one very similar by L’Oréal, it too fills in sparse areas with a thicker point. This one is not that one. This is as thick as the graphite in a mechanical pencil. Fine for drawing single missing hairs but no thanks. Went back to Amazon and got the one I thought I was getting with this thing.
I bought this product twice (thinking the first experience was a fluke). Both times, it didn't last more than a couple uses. It breaks because it is super thin, does not apply easily, and just overall poor quality.Buy L'oreal Brow Stylist Shape and Fill instead. That works great!
I have few to no eyebrows so must create my own. Ever since Sonia Kashuk discontinued their excellent eyebrow pencil, I've been looking for an adequate replacement. This is not it. The color is faint. The pencil is ultra waxy, so that if you try to build up the color, the second strokes wipe away the first strokes and leave bare spots. If you have any skin irregularities, the pencil coagulates on them. But don't worry - one swipe with your thumb (whether you meant to swipe or not) will remove the entire eyebrow. I've tried several eyebrow pencils. None is anywhere near as good as Sonia Kashuk's used to be, but none is anywhere near as bad as this one.
