This Sleep Sack has been my lifesaver! My one a half month old has been very squirmy since birth likes to have her hands by her face (has since the womb). My husband I tried to swaddle her the traditional way with blankets but she would always break her arms out of them, leaving only her legs swaddled. It also took a while to get her re-swaddled after diaper changes. We also tried other sleep sacks, but because they didn’t allow her to move her arms, she didn’t like them either. Then, scrolling through social media one day, I came across the Love to Dream Sleep Sack decided that I needed to try it. I ordered the Newborn size because my baby is in that weight range. It fits her snuggly, while still allowing her to move. She loves that her arms can be by her face but ... MoreThis Sleep Sack has been my lifesaver! It fits her snuggly, while still allowing her to move. She loves that her arms can be by her face but that she still has room to kick her legs (her favorite activity). For reference, my daughter was 6 pounds 3 ounces, 19.5” long at birth, is currently somewhere in the 7.5 pound ballpark 20.25” long. Mom Dad love the double zipper, which makes diaper changes so much easier at night, the zippers are good quality. The material is lightweight, which is great for the Alabama heat, but still keeps her warm. It is very easy to throw in the washing machine dry in the dryer on low heat. We also appreciate that the Sleep Sack is rated for different weights so she’s not drowning in her Sleep Sack. We definitely plan to order the next size up in the next few weeks because she’s about to outgrow this one! I would recommend this product to anyone, because it is grey, it is gender-neutral, would make a great baby shower gift as it is not expensive!... Show more

ATTENTION SLEEP DEPRIVED MOMS
Ok so backstory… when my newborn daughter would sleep, never failed she would wake up as soon as we set her down or when she startled. It got to a point where she was sleeping on my chest because I just needed some sleep. Well one night on a whim I purchased this when I was desperate and sleep deprived. I bought about 5 different types of popular swaddles. This was the only one that worked! I cannot say how much I love this now. It has been over a month that I’ve used it and my daughter sleeps through the night in her crib with this all the way through until her next feeding. These have been an absolute life saver. I would have never guessed to purchase this swaddle but I ended up getting more because they are just that great!! Also, they are lightweight, stretchy, ... Buy This Swaddle!
Really love this swaddle! It made all the sense since my baby naturally throws her hands up when she's in a deep sleep. This swaddle also made me feel better about her sleeping since it gives her a little more freedom as a baby instead of the other tighter/cocoon swaddles I originally bought. The only reason I gave this 4 and not 5 stars is because when I feed my baby with it on her arms are in the way that doesn't help during a messy feed, so I need to put a cloth down over top of them instead of taking the whole swaddle off. Also, it's a little pricey for her only wearing it less than 1 month. She grew out of it pretty quickly, so I already sized up! Otherwise, this swaddle is amazing. Definitely helps her sleep at night better.... Show more

Does the trick
We tried a few different swaddle styles and this works well for our big and long baby. The zipper is convienant for diaper changes. Other swaddles with Velcro would get stuck to other clothes in the wash and damage fabric, so I like that there is no Velcro. Other swaddles were too small and short as well. He seems to like the arms up positioning and sleeps well at night at only 6 weeks. It’s thin so if your room is cold you may want put a warmer outfit underneath. Price is slightly high.... Show more

Highly recommend
The BEST sleep sack for babies who like to sleep with their hands by their face. It’s the only swaddle that works for our newborn and calms her startle reflex. We tried many other sleep sacks and nothing else worked. Also love the zipper allowing for easy overnight diaper changes. Our baby is growing out of the size S so about to order 2 of the M. Definitely recommend having at least 2 on hand if this will be your primary swaddle. They are pricey but anything that helps the baby sleep better is absolutely worth the investment.... Show more

Love love LOVE
When my daughter was first born, we noticed she really liked to have her arms up by her face to sleep. We tried to traditionally wrap her in hospital blankets the first two weeks and she eventually got strong enough to get her arms out which gave this mama major anxiety. Looking for a solution, I came across this swaddle and decided to try it. It had been a game changer. She sleeps really well in it and loves being able to have her arms by her face. I appreciate how easy it is to do a diaper change. As we were transitioning between sizes, we tried wrapping her in a different swaddle that tucked her arms down and she HATED it. This is definitely the solution to a baby who wiggles out of their swaddle. I know it’s a bit pricier, but I would recommend having two on ... They can get dirty quite easily with milk spit up and drool.... Show more

Not for everyone, but we love it!!
First of all, I have to say that I don’t think this is for every baby, nor is it for every age. We tried this swaddle early on and she did not like it. We used regular cotton swaddles for a few weeks before she started breaking out of them, and then we used Velcro swaddles until she somehow managed to start breaking her arms out of those as well. She was waking up several times at night with her arms free and I was desperate to get her to sleep, so I tried this Love to Dream swaddle again, and she slept through the night for the first time ever, 8 hours! We didn’t use it the next night and she woke up several times again, but we used it again the next night, and she slept 9 hours! I would say definitely size up because we put her in a size small, even though it recommended the XS size, and it fit her perfectly. The stretchy material allows for longer wear as she grows, and the simple zipper design allows to easily and quietly get her in and out of the swaddle for diaper changes, etc. I know some people have had issues with this swaddle or it didn’t work for them, but we have loved using it for our girl! It’s a little pricey, but so worth it to finally get sleep!!... Show more

Really disappointing, from a Swaddle Up lover
My 4 week old daughter loves her 1tog Swaddle Up from Love to Dream, so we bought this for the warmer weather. Both are a size small (3.5-6kg/8-13lbs), but the 0.5 tog is far too tight around the tummy. It's tricky to get the zip up, and when I do my daughter wakes, wailing. Have tried this several times, but no progress. My daughter weighed in at 7.9lb 1 week ago, so this should have fit with plenty of room. Unfortunately it's cut much, much more narrowly around the waist than the 1tog version (I've laid it over the top to check.)Really disappointing, an expensive mistake, and a real shame in this warmer weather.... Unsafe
During naps, we noticed our baby always slept with her arms up so we tried this swaddle assuming the position was her preference. After a couple nights, the swaddle had broke skin around her neck. As her arms move during sleep, the fabric rubs on her neck. In addition, we later learned having arms above the head for long periods of time could impede gross motor development. It's not a natural position to be in! Lastly, we had an unopened box for one size up and tried to return it but Love to Dream would not accept it. Then tried to sell it on Poshmark and they reported it to have it taken down! Not a fan of the product or company... Show more

WORTHY OF ALL CAPS REVIEW
I do not usually write in all caps but this product deserves all the praise. We got one last week and our infant immediately started SLEEPING THROUGH THE NIGHT! 6-7 hours and then another 3-4! Total game changer in our house. I wish I had gotten one sooner. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND especially for those who notice their infants tend to sleep with their arms up and break out of normal swaddles. I immediately bought a second. I plan to buy every version of swaddle this company makes. I want to meet the person who created this and give them my personal thanks!!!... Show more
