This is our swaddle of choice for nap time. My little one loves to sleep with his arms over his head and this allows him to do that without startling himself awake. The quality is impressive compared to other brands I have tried- the Jersey fabric is thick but stretchy, the zippers are good quality, and these fit in all of the right places so I am not at all concerned about the swaddle shifting and becoming a hazard. A boy who refuses naps, loves to nap in his Love to Dream! For those concerned about the fit, the arms are small on purpose to keep baby swaddled tight and the startle reflux in check. My little one is 6 weeks old and in the 97th percentile for height/length. We recently switched from the Stage 1 swaddle to this Stage 2.... Show more

ATTENTION SLEEP DEPRIVED MOMS
Ok so backstory… when my newborn daughter would sleep, never failed she would wake up as soon as we set her down or when she startled. It got to a point where she was sleeping on my chest because I just needed some sleep. Well one night on a whim I purchased this when I was desperate and sleep deprived. I bought about 5 different types of popular swaddles. This was the only one that worked! I cannot say how much I love this now. It has been over a month that I’ve used it and my daughter sleeps through the night in her crib with this all the way through until her next feeding. These have been an absolute life saver. I would have never guessed to purchase this swaddle but I ended up getting more because they are just that great!! Also, they are lightweight, stretchy, ... Didnt work for us
Our 5 week old has decided she doesn’t want to sleep anymore in her bassinet. We have been on the hunt to try finding the perfect swaddle for her. We have heard such good reviews on this one so we gave it a try. I think she got the worst sleep with this one. I don’t know if the material is what she didn’t like or if it was to thin. It was really tight around her torsos and kinda on her neck. She is only 8 pounds and a small was to small. We only tried it for 2 days and gave up. Even in her deep sleep, when we put her down. She would wake up. She looked uncomfortable in it. If your trying out different swaddles I would still try this one out. So many people love it and just because my baby didn’t. Doesn’t mean yours will. Wish us luck on finding the best swaddle for ... MoreOur 5 week old has decided she doesn’t want to sleep anymore in her bassinet. Does NOT help with startle reflex.
My daughter just turned a month old, and is too strong for her swaddle blankets now (breaking free). Her startle reflex is terrible. She takes forever to fall asleep, and wakes herself constantly when not tightly swaddled. Her swaddle blankets did a great job containing her reflex, she got peaceful sleep. she’s just too strong to wear them now & I do not want her breaking free for safety reasons. I wanted to get her a safe swaddle that she couldn’t break free from. She does like to self soothe with her hands by her face, so I thought I’d give this swaddle a try. After a week of miserable sleep, I’m returning this product. I tried to give it time, but it’s not for us. While it keeps her safe, it does not contain her startle reflex at ALL. Unfortunately I will be returning this and try to find a different swaddle that will help with her startle reflex better.... Show more

Good for smaller babes
Great for tiny babies! Our baby was less than 7 lb and all the other swaddles we tried either weren’t tight enough on her legs to calm her startle reflex or the fabric rode up over her chin and covered her mouth. This one sits below her chin and doesn’t ride up even when she kicks around. She likes her hands up by her face so the design of this one is ideal. The fabric is soft and stretchy, kind of like a thick jersey knit. This swaddle is also the fastest to put on and take off which is essential for nighttime feeds and diaper changes.... Show more

Great if your lil one has itchy eyes/face
My baby is almost 12 weeks and has never liked his arms swaddled, but lately he’s had itchy skin on his face and no matter how we swaddle him up he escapes and rubs his face which causes extra loss of sleep for all of us. I tried this one out because it looked like his arms around be contained in a good position where it could be natural and comfortable for him, yet limiting so he wouldn’t rub his face… and it worked!! So if you’re in a similar position I’d recommend trying this out. The sizing should be readjusted by the company though those reviews are fairly accurate. We have a Medium and it’s almost too small. I do like the light weight fabric since he’s a Summer baby so he won’t overheat.... Show more

Love this zip up swaddles for my baby
We have been struggling with swaddling our newborn. He is so strong that he eventually wrestles out of any type of swaddle that we try with him, but if we do not swaddle him, his startle reflexes keep him awake. I was hesitant on what size to buy because he is growing quickly and I wanted the one we ourcjase to last longer than 2 weeks. He is 10 lbs now and the small would likely not last long. I ended up taking a chance and ordering the medium. It has worked out fine, it is a little big but not enough to cause any issue or concern and still works is effective. It is light enough for him to wear with the warm weather we are now getting.... Show more

Skeptic to believer!
I was a skeptic about the cost/benefit here but I was shocked at my babies reaction to this! My baby would get upset and seemed claustrophobic when we put her in traditional swaddles. She’d fight them so hard and when ever she woke up at night she’d start fighting it again and was hard to console (even though they did help with the startle reflex). This was a game changer. She loves having her arms up by her face! She doesn’t ever fight this swaddle. I think her legs being free to kick around also helps with her gas! The little arm sections help tone down the startle reflex a lot. We use this for every single nap and bedtime. It’s hard to find time to wash it because she’s in it so much since newborns are always sleeping! I can’t recommend it enough. So easy to use. ... Thank goodness!
Lately my baby has gotten out of his swaddle. We have been using Muslim blankets compared to a regular swaddle. When we brought him home from the hospital, we tried putting him a halo swaddle but he hated it. So we just continued to use the Muslim blankets. Got him all nice and tight. After three nights of him getting out I made sure to get something he couldn’t get out. Talked to my friends and asked what they use. They couldn’t say anything wrong with this one. Let’s just say I got 5 solid hours of sleep…I’m a happy mama! He loves it and we will continue to use it!... Show more

Works great and will purchase the next size up.
I never was very good at the traditional blanket swaddle. My now one month old was able to roll onto her side the night we brought her home from the hospital. So for a few nights she wore the zip up pajamas and she was waking up hungry of course but she was fussy also. Once I bought this for her she was sleeping better and not so fussy. Now she sleeps 6-7 hours before she wakes up hungry. This as worked wonders for my husband and I. Even when I had to wash it so she didn’t use it for a couple nights I could tell a difference in how she was sleeping. The first time I put it on her she fell asleep within 1 minute.... Show more
