I bought this bag new for a trip to India. It's ok overall, but I wouldn't purchase it again. The travel features, like zipping away the back and straps, is awesome for plane travel, although it's not easy to switch to.The bag I received has a slightly crooked back piece. The bottom part isn't flush - the left side is bent forward while the right side is bent backwards. It's still comfortable enough for travel purposes, but walking more than twenty or thirty minutes causes discomfort. There is only one small interior pocket, two pockets in the head. There is more than enough space for long term travel and the head portion expands out for even more space in case you buy souvenirs and such. With a separate purchase of interior packing cubes, organization is fine. There's a u shape opening from the front and it's accessible to contents from the top which is convenient. There are a lot of straps to go through, though, so it's not as easy to access as my previous bag (which, in retrospect, I wish I still had)Quality control is surprisingly low. Stitching has already come undone after 1.5 months in India. Luckily, I found a bag shop here to fix it, but given Lowe alpines supposed high quality I'm pretty dissatisfied. The stitching on the belt buckle came mostly undone and now it sits crooked when strapped. Uncomfortable and annoying.A few of the netting pieces ripped, too, but that could be from wear and tear I suppose.Overall it's just an OK bag. It's working fine overall, but it's pretty expensive considering the poor quality construction.
