The helmet is awesome! There are very few open-faced helmets available with the new ECE rating. I like this helmet a lot. Very comfortable. A bit noisy with the vents open but otherwise pretty quiet for this style. Great visibility. Love the drop down sunshade. The only thing I'd change is the strap, I prefer the D-ring type of clasp. But it works. Quality seems higher than the price would indicate.... Show more

Awesome helmet. Quieter than my full face helmet and doesn't dry out my eyes from the wind but still allows for adequate airflow. The quick release on the chin strap is a game changer. I will say this helmet is significantly thicker and bulkier than other open face helmets I've tried. It's not heavy but it looks like you're wearing a buoy on your head. Loses a star for that but I'm sure you're trading looks for better protection.... Show more

Since it's the end of November in Chicago I haven't used this helmet much. The 3X fits fine but it could us a longer chinstrap fully extended I can barley fasten it. This may become a comfort issue on longer rides. Time will tell... Show more

Great open face helmet. Light and comfortable. Love the face shield protection and the drop down visor. Chin strap is nice too (not a D ring). Down side is the noise. Not too bad if the vents are closed but open the helmet is loud. Size runs true to the chart. Small weighs 3.7lbs and XL weighs 3.11lbs.... Show more

OK, this is the one. If you are looking for an "open face" touring helmet, this one should be at the top of your list. It is really light, has super comfortable padding, and has high quality visor action (main visor locks closed, and the internal sun visor even has a sort of "detent" for locking in the up position), it has solid construction, and clear optics. The fit is great, materials are great, the quick-release chin strap is really great. Ventilation - great. It is just... great.Note also, this helmet is Pinlock ready and comes with the Pinlock insert. This isn't mentioned in the specs, and the picture suggests it is not Pinlock compatible like the Euro version, but lo and behold, it is Pinlock ready and includes the insert.
