Luigi has won the huge and very mysterious mansion as the grand prize in a big contest. A Great Balue With a Few Issues.

This item is great if you do not want to fork over all the money to buy the original mega man titles. I purchased this for $18.00 instead of paying hundreds for the older nes versions. The good side of this game is they allow you to save after beating bosses in any title. This was not provided in the originals. Some would complain stating the save feature makes the game easier. However, I would say it is a must if you do not have a large amount of time to go through each level in one sitting. I also believe the save feature was not provided in the earlier versions because the technology was not advanced enough to provide the game save. This is what we have on all of our games today and should be there. This is what we have on all of our games today and should be there. I do have three problems with this game and all of them have to do with controls. First, I do not like how the a button is fire and the b button is the jump action. It is confusing and takes a while to get used to. Even after getting used to it, I still stumble with the controls in times when stressed out or going through a challenging part of the game. I do not like Y button which allows mega man to rapid fire. This is actually a good thing that I guiltily admit I do use at challenging points. However, it should not be there since it makes the game easier. I also donot like that the Z button pauses the game instead of the start button. I do not understand why the controls were chosen the way they were. However, purchasing this item is cost effective. It takes a while to get over the controls and enjoy the game. If you are a mega man, this game is totally worth the price.

The original Luigi feature title is full of cute, funny and spooky moments that will leave you laughing and keep you engaged. It's not the longest game, but it's so much fun to replay that I think it's well worth it's nearly original retail price. I bought it for fun this Hallowe'en (2022) at a cost of $80, and I have no regrets. I wouldn't but it for any more than that, but there's no textbook on reclaiming nostalgia. Buy with some discretion. Highly recommended!!

Ordered Luigi's Mansion for the very first time using DKOldies. What I can say is that the games are taken care of very very well! The game had little to no scratches whatsoever on the disk and the manual was in pristine condition! I have ordered a bunch of other games as well and what I can say is that I will be using DKOldies for all of my Retro needs!

An Absolute Must Have For Any 3Ds Owner!

Honestly, this is an excellent game port and remake of the original Luigi's Mansion. The sequent Dark Moon games are unable to even try to hold a candle to this adventure! Nintendo polished up the graphics nicely without betraying the nostalgia of the game. Not to mention the added features, like the 3D graphics and Download Play multiplayer (2-Player is available both with or without player 2 having a cartridge, nice!). The controls are easy to get into, while the game itself provides a great adventure with moderately simple challenges and puzzles to capture the ghosts. Slightly spooky atmosphere, but definitely not chilling, as the toonish characters and goofy antics are far more silly than scary. There really aren't any negatives that come to mind! 10/10, easily one of the best games by Nintendo. Completely recommend this gem of a game.

Great game!

Picked this up after playing Luigis Mansion 2 and 3 to see where the story began. While the save structure can be a little frustrating at times, an can occasionally result in lost progress... Im really enjoying the game so far. The gameplay works great on a New 3DS and I love how it takes advantage of the C Stick to basically replicate the original experience. It looks fantastic on 3DS, perhaps being one of the best looking games on the system. The rooms of the mansion and the bosses, and the music just ooze that Nintendo charm. The campaign is brief at 7-8 hours, but for me the quality is so good that I had no qualms about paying full price.

It plays and the box is kinda good but it the disk suffered lots of heavy "love"
3 May 2020

I was not surprised that I had chances of getting a copy with names on the booklet, box and disk but the disk was pretty badly scratched. This disk would get this copy labeled "ugly" condition if that was an option for these games and I paid quite a pretty penny to have the risk of getting a disk with a bad sector that contains crucial data late in the game. I also got a Wii U game that was supposed to be complete in box but the box was not its original box and the disk art has definitely seen its days. It is technically complete in box since it had its booklet but it also really isn't because there is a chance that this could have only been the booklet & disk and they could have just put it in a regular DVD box. It is technically complete in box since it had its booklet but it also really isn't because there is a chance that this could have only been the booklet & disk and they could have just put it in a regular DVD box. I have ordered from this site before and I liked the results but this just makes me want to look elsewhere whenever I want to get anything this pricey or old... One of my troubles is finding GCN games complete in box (with original box) and I figured that “complete in box” would mean complete in box (with the box that the game really uses). Online is much more convenient to track down but It is not always possible to see the product before buying at every vendor to ensure quality. Again, please add an ugly (potential replacement box or poor disk condition) and good (original box and decent to great disk condition) option to all game listings. I do not mean to sound rude or picky but I work hard for my money like everyone else that buys from this site, and I expect a little bit more care when old games like these are involved because these old games are a part of the childhoods of many (in this case, myself). I still suggest purchasing products from this site because the other games I purchased (Xenoblade Chronicles X, LOZ Skyward Sword and LOZ Twilight Princess Wii) came in fantastic condition but I do suggest taking caution with the more expensive games. If this happened with a copy of LOZ Twilight Princess for the GCN I would be furious since it would cost me about $100. Thank you for listening to my rambling on, have a good day and stay healthy.

From the moment my wife and I unboxed the game we were in absolute shock at how mint of a condition the disc and box were!!! The game itself plays smooth as if it were brand new !! I recommend DK oldies for all retro gaming!! As for the game itself , we have been enjoying the trip down memory lane and the cute and hilarious story telling by Nintendo !!

Lil pricey for the game, but the condition was good. A little dusty box, but the game itself runs perfectly. No scratches on the disc, and all of the peripherals are in decent enough condition. I could see myself purchasing from DKOldies again in the future. Great service, and quick delivery.

The game disc itself was in pretty good condition but overall it was just a huge nostalgia factor for me to replay it. Plus my daughter who is 8 loves Luigi’s mansions 3 so showing her the original was amazing. She loved it almost more than the new one lol either way it well worth buying it to play again!
