I was sent this to review. I already had a bottle of Aperol so was able to compare the two. They are both very similar but this tasted more aromatic and bitter - somewhere between Campari and Aperol. I tried with tonic and also as a Spritz. My partner preferred the Aperol and I preferred this as it is not so sweet.

I was sent a bottle of this Luxardo Aperitivo to review. I love an Aperol Spritz and was excited to try this alternative. It's a little less sweet than Aperol, and has a more sophisticated taste. Mixed with prosecco and a touch of soda it's deliciously refreshing and moor-ish! It can be drink on its own, but I preferred it in a spritz.

Lovely sunny colour that enhances the good feeling of summer. It tastes very much like Campari with a prominent flavour of orange. It is very good for those who like the bitter kick in a cocktail, for me though it is a little too bitter. Nevertheless, it is good and nice looking with Prosecco or a sweet orange juice. I love the pink look in a cocktail glass especially when garnished with a slice of orange and a sprig of lime leaves.

I?m reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. This is essentially Luxardo's version of the currently ubiquitous Aperol. I took it along to a friend's BBQ along with some Prosecco and soda and made a jug of spritz. To me it tasted just like an Aperol spritz, but the host actually preferred it and it was soon all gone! Perhaps it is less bitter than Aperol, although I see others suggesting it is less sweet. Anyway, a nice refreshing summer cocktail ingredient.
Was given this to review. I shared with friends, some of whom loved it and some of them thought just ok. So mixed reviews. The packaging and over all look is nice, so great on display with its interesting colour. But its very much down to the individual on its taste!
One thing that Ive learned during lockdown is that if theres a Luxardo version of your favourite beverage- buy it! This makes a gorgeous and refreshing spritz. I had some leftover cremant and mixed it with some club soda. Terrific. Im going to try it in a negroni next and Im tempted to use it to make sorbet when (if!) the weather improves.
I?m reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. I know this is a popular summer drink, but have never tried it before. Prosecco doesn't agree with my wife, so we tried with just soda. It does have the bitter taste found in many Italian drinks, which is nice at first, but quite strong after a while. I expect Prosecco would help sweeten the drink and make it more palatable to our taste, so will look to mix with maybe lemonade next time.
I was given this to review. It's lovely! The taste of Italian sunshine. Great mixture of flavours. It's good on its own, wonderful with orange juice, and will be perfect in all sorts of cocktails. Now if it will just stop raining...
Got this to review - always keen to try something new and different. Ideal for a summer drink - sat on the patio relaxing in the early evening. I poured some over ice into a large jug - equal measure of Prosecco and some soda water, garnished with fresh orange slices - delicious!! Not too sweet and not too sour just right! Enjoy.
Im reviewing this product because I got a free sample fromOcado. Initially tried this with the recommended recipe of sparkling wine and soda, was ok. had it just with soda water and was much better. nice, slightly bitter flavour. Really refreshing and as the alcohol content is low no issues the next morning.
