$14.12

(439 reviews)

Maraschino cherries are essential to a number of whiskey cocktails as well as classics such as the Aviation. Many "cocktail cherries" are available, but these are produced by Luxardo, the makers of the famous Italian liqueur Maraschino. Used worldwide by bartenders and mixologists as a premium garnish in cocktails. Luxardo Original Maraschino Cherries were first produced by Luxardo in Zara around 1905. With the quality that only generations of family tradition can bring, Luxardo Maraschino cherries are a must and a must for every cocktail bar. What makes them so special? Luxardo uses the same Marasca cherries as for the liqueur, grown exclusively by the Luxardo family. This is the basis of the award-winning Luxardo Maraschino liqueur. The cherries are bathed in a pure, rich Marascasi syrup, which comes from the 22,000 cherry trees owned by the Luxardo family in the Veneto region of Italy. Today, they are used by the finest bars and restaurants worldwide, as their quality and versatility mean they are not only exquisite for garnish but also incredible for cooking. No artificial colours, such as thickeners or preservatives are used.

Wow!!! Most incredible cherries! Worth the price and grabbed a jar. Takes everything you use next level delicious!!! It has a wonderful sweetness but good texture. I use the sauce on top of ice cream. I also use the syrup in vanilla buttercream frosting for chocolate cupcakes.

If you like maraschino cherries, prepare to have your mind blown. I love the bright red jar of sugar as much as the next person. But having these (the OG maraschino) for the first time is like having a chef-prepared, Kobe beef burger with grilled onions for the first time after a lifetime of cafeteria burgers. Excellent for cocktails, baking, or eating one at a time on their own. They are expensive but worth it.

These are superb cherries, especially for cocktails. Bold flavor with a soft chew. We mainly use them for old fashioned cocktails. The syrup would be a great addition for drinks as well. The downside is that they are super pricey.

Luxardo Maraschino Cherries retail around $24.99 for 14.1oz and are well worth the money. The maraschino cherries are a delicious cocktail garnish. The cherry liqueur is a delicious addition to cocktails such as margarita and daiquiris. The maraschino cherries pair well with meats and cheeses to create a delicious charcuterie board.

A Slice Of Heaven
1 February 2023

I've never tasted a gourmet cherry until I bought these. Nothing even remotely like the maraschino cherries we're all used to from the grocery store. The first thing I made with them were cherry cokes. Talk about a slice of Heaven! Worth every red cent, I'll never go back to the others.

Delicious, mouth watering Luxardo Maraschino Cherries 400g

Luxardo Maraschino Cherries 400g are delicious and mouth watering. The cherries have a pleasant taste and once you taste one of them you want to eat more and more. They are very moreish The Cherries are appetising, moist, ripe, flavoursome, juicy, soft, palatable, lush, fleshy, fresh, tender and definitely my choice to add to desserts, cakes, cocktails, drinks and ice cream. You can eat them straight from the jar. The Cherries are a premium product and I am passionate about their taste.

Not like other cocktail cherries

These cherries are expensive but worth it if you like fine restaurant cocktails. Soaked in bourbon and use in Amaretto Sours AWESOME! Cherry sauce is thick and we put on cheesecake slices YUM! Walmart seller wraps each glass container and sends in protective box unlike Amazon (whose reviews with pictures are disastrous.)

Not your kids cherries
11 June 2023

People who say these are too expensive need to be drinking their kids cocktails that have neon red cherries. Yes they are higher in price, but you taste the difference. American maraschino cherries are nasty. Not sure how the luxardo compare to some of the other higher end brands taste wise, but I know I won't waste my time with cherries that are $3.99 for 100 cherries in a jar. Get the luxardo if you enjoy something that tastes amazing.

These are delicious and different
14 April 2023

They're called maraschino cherries, but are very unlike the red, sweet cherries we're used to fishing out of a jar. These are dark and mysterious and divine. I sneak 1 or 2 out of the jar to just eat, otherwise can't think of a way to use them outside of a jazzed up Sidecar. Anybody have ideas?

Worth it. Seriously.
30 November 2022

I wasn't sure about spending 20 bucks on a jar of cherries, either. But unless you're planning on sitting down and eating these by the handful (hey, no judgement if you are) they're worth every penny. I love a Manhattan after dinner and these take it to the next level. You have to try them to understand.
