I was really skeptic at first but I really liked it, it is very fine FINE milled so it won't add texture just perfectly mattify and help hide imperfections and wrinkles. I'm very picky when it comes to applying any kind of powder in my face cause it tends to accentuate wrinkles or just makes me look caked this one wasn't a the case. To get the powder you just gotta lift the little tab (for the girlies with long nails, I have long acrylic nails and I had no problem opening it!) when you open the powder there's a mesh which works kinda like a powder sugar shaker that really helps you get no clumps when applying makeup and helps you make sure you don't go overboard with the powder!

I have been using MAC since the early 1990's and it has always been fabulous! This was my first time buying this and it is fantastic! My face feels refined after I use it ! I definitely rate this as one of my favorites next to the Fast Response Eye Cream and will be buying it from now on! I know that there are a lot of options out there but MAC is a cut above the rest no matter what other companies tout! And I should know since I have been using it my whole adult life! ?? PS. MAC could you consider bringing back the lipstick "bubbles" ? It was one of my favorites, I received so many compliments and I just miss it so much! Thank you! ??

As an acne prone skin girly, I always look for makeup with no pore clogging ingredients and I'm highly surprised this powder is not talked about more!! Probably MAC is not advertising this as a clean ingredient product and they are missing out! I don't usually accept makeup if I know it's gonna compromise my skin but this time I was so happy to accept this gift and even happier to leave a review hoping this helps to girls with acne to amplify their options with makeup! I really enjoyed this translucent powder! I normally am faithful to the Laura Mercier setting powder but this was a good comp, in my opinion. I like how the product is dispensed but I personally would only use their provided brush for touch ups. For application I used my own small fluffy setting brush to be able to get in the corners of eyes - the "brush" wouldn't be able to do that. I will definitely continue using this setting powder! It left me with a velvet finish and very minimal shine after wearing for 8 hours. It fills the pores nice and leaves you soft and matte without feeling dry.*MAC sent me this free sample to test through a sampling program*
I recently used this to do my makeup! I don't do heavy-set or dramatic makeup, I like a good clean girl look and use minimal products. I haven't used setting powder in a bit either, so I was a bit happy to be using it again. Using the powder helped get rid of some skin texture issues that I was dealing with which really helped out my makeup look. The only downside was that my face felt really dry with the loose powder on; it was definitely more mattifying and didn't leave a "dewy" look like some setting powders out there. I still like the product! However, I'll probably use it on certain areas of my face with a hydrating mist. I wouldn't really recommend it for dry skin types, this product should be geared more towards oily and combination skin types!!

I've been doing makeup for 9 years so it's not an application issue, trust me. The texture is quite light and doesn't feel cakey but it wears horribly longer than around 3 hours. I have oily combo skin and find at the end of the day the makeup on my entire T zone is completely separated and looks awful. I'm about an NC5 for foundation and MAC doesn't make a concealer light enough/with the right undertone for me so I use a mix of Too Faced in Cloud and Dior Forever Skin in 00 Neutral for a bright undereye. Every time I've applied the 'white' translucent powder, no matter what method I use, my undereye concealer immediately turns orange and about ...
