Other that that for what I need it for my production work it's great.

Cuts out and has connection problems, but nice design

I noticed that at the slightest nudge, like when I unplug my headphones, the unit it sometimes cuts out and disconnects from my computer. I actually have to restart my computer each time to get it to be recognized again. I have tried different cables and it still happens. Could be a cable problem, a port problem, or the unit itself, but it has done it across several good cables and different USB ports. It's very disappointing because I like the design. I have been unable to reach M-Audio or Musicians Friend on multiple attempts.

I bought this on STOD and I couldn't be happier. I didn't realize how outdated my little focusrite had gotten. This is a total game changer for me. Very well made and works fantastic so far. Seems well with the money even at normal price. Vastly improved the latency issue I've been fighting for years. Major sigh of relief!

Excellent Quality for the money
9 March 2023

This interface has a solid case and clean design. I used it on a older quad core usb 2.0 system and it worked perfectly. The signal was clear with no static or distortion. There was no latency to speak of. It also came with a bunch of software including a daw and virtual instruments and effects. I would definitely recommend this interface. Inexpensive cost for what you get.

Great for the price
3 August 2020

This product is great. It definitely should be rated higher. I got this for christmas and the drivers were easy to download. The sound was very clear and I had no problems with it. It's very easy to use, and I really like how the knobs to control gain, headphone volume, and main output volume is right on the top and easy to use. It's a little heavy but it seems able to withstand a beating. The design is also very sleek in my opinion. The only problem I had with this interface is the lack of inputs. For the price, you get an xlr and a 1/4" guitar input, but that's it. When you upgrade your studio, you might have to rethink a different interface or usb mixer. Other than that, it was great for its purposes and if you buy it you will not regret it.

Great quality... Once you actually get it working
2 October 2020

Ive spent a few days using it and I have to say that sound quality is amazing for the price. The knobs are intuitive and if you have difficulty with them, the short manual has a straight forward explanation for them. Set up is supposed to be straightforward as well, but there are some issues that made it very complicated. I had to set it up as my default audio output or else it wlouldnt work properly. The interface would also randomly go to sleep and it wouldnt output any sound at all, so listening to music was dreadful. To get it to stop going into sleep, go to the Control Pannel>Hardware and Sound> Power Options>Change power plan settings>Change advanced power settings>USB settings>USB selective suspend setting>Disable when Plugged in. To get it to stop going into sleep, go to the Control Pannel>Hardware and Sound> Power Options>Change power plan settings>Change advanced power settings>USB settings>USB selective suspend setting>Disable when Plugged in. Like I said, im loving the quality of the sound but the setup is painfully dumb. Some apps require you to change the advanced settings from 44kHz Studio quality to DVD quality in order to be compatible with certain programs, and I havent experienced this, but some people say that their devices are forgotten by their PCs everyday, so their routine requires them to disable and re enable the device everytime.Despite all that the audio from my mics is super clear, and this includes phantom power for those who use condenser mics. The guitar is eerily clear, to the point where I can clearly tell the difference between picks and their textures (I use a single coil EMG which dramatically increases clarity as well, so take the last statement with a grain of salt). The design is very intuitive and simple to understand. Build quality is OUTSTANDING with the knobs feeling sturdy with great resistance for fine tuning, and the body being made of aluminum and a hard plastic on top for the lables. The middle knob also has a really nice rubber grip around it which just adds to the premium feeling. In conclusion, Im in love with this device, but Im a little dissapointed at all the dumb workarounds necessary to get this to work predictably

Nothing special. And noisy.

Sound:I was using the little iRig before I got this to upgrade, because the iRig was shorting out after about 2 years of heavy use. Well I should have just got the iRig HD because this thing literally doesn’t do anything. I’d be better off plugging straight into the Mac, there would be less noise. And if you aren’t using monitors, and running headphones from the computer, you only will be using one of the knobs. It’s big and hallow and clunky and the giant knob is just for looks. All it does is control the monitor volume. It feels like if it were dropped, something would break loose on the inside. If this thing was much smaller and not trying so hard to look cool or whatever the designer was thinking, I might give it one more star, but it has an audible crackle ... MoreSound:I was using the little iRig before I got this to upgrade, because the iRig was shorting out after about 2 years of heavy use. idjnow is becoming my go to store
27 January 2023

I had to buy a new audio interface for some production work and I had settled on the m-audio AIR 192. I looked around online and this place I had never heard of had it for less than any other store. I decided to give them a try and they didn’t disappoint. They communicated at every step of the way and have followed up after I’ve been using it for a week. I’m a fan!!

really disapointed. DOES NOT come with pro tools
13 August 2022

The biggest reason I bought this is it said it cane with pro tools. Once I registered my product they informed me it was no longer offered. Set up is a joke, they give you a liitle square of paper and refer you to their website. No response from my emails, I still can't get it to work
