I absolutely love this MAC extra dimension eyeshadow. It has this really unique uniform / smooth metallic finish to it. It’s as if chunks of glitter have been completely blended. The eyeshadow itself blends really well too. This shadow holds up extremely well if you pack it on you lids with a primer first, otherwise is doesn’t get as pigmented on your skin. I have this eyeshadow in the shade Stylishly Merry, and I’m hoping to get it in some of the other shades as well. This is definitely one of my favorite MAC eyeshadows.

Absolutely gorgeous metallic type of color. 1st of all, its a MAC product. So no question was the pigmentation there; of course it was. N there wasnt a doubt about the performance of product, again the name MAC speaks for itself. So, if you've never tried MAC products, buckle up cause your in for a real ride. MAC in my opinion is one of the best makeup companies, their brand prides themselves on being the preferred makeup of makeup artist and special effects. So, yeah they have amazing makeup..

Beautiful

Smoky Mauve is an incredible one and done shade put it all over the lid, bled out the edges and go. You can add a complimenting matte to the crease for a little more depth but the color can stand alone and is gorgeous. It makes for an easy, simple on the go look. I love it.

Buttery Smooth!

I got hold of the shade Dark Dare when I was in Milan and it's the perfect black to smudge a smokey eye look or even your black liner. I love how buttery smooth it is and it blends out so incredibly well. I've got the shade Carbon (which is black) too but I really like this one better! The only downside was when I tried to de-pot this into my palette it doesn't come with its own pan at the bottom so bits of it crumbled away.

Divine colour

Fathoms Deep is the most amazing colour, and I was impressed with the payoff. I have to deduct one star because the product on it's own is not long-wearing and it's advertised as 10 hr. wear. I'm sure you can get ten hours if you prep with a paint pot, but I think for a product to be truly long-wearing it should stand up on its own. Mine starting slipping around after a couple hours. I would still recommend for the colour, with the caveat primer is a must.

Reminds me of Mac alluring aquatic collection

I loved these when Mac did the alluring aquatic collection and they were all blue metallic with water droplets as the packaging. Literally so gorgeous!!! I wish I kept them all, but it was too long ago. These are the same formula. They just made it with that packaging. But it’s kind of a cream powder formula. Its pretty when you look at it but on the eye, kind of too metallic. Maybe I just don’t know how to apply it well. But they aren’t the same on the eye. Still so beautiful to look at though. I miss the alluring aquatic collection!

This is exactly what I wanted

I used a MAC paint pot ( a silvery glittery one) underneath is … then “Shell” Cream Base (also MaC) then this color …. Very very pretty …. A beautiful light lavender lilac color …. MAC Shadow Lady eyeshadow as my eye liner (using the angle brush from MaC) … a pale nude like … I wear this color when I’m wearing soft powder ray, charcoal gray, or black and I love it. Best for day b/c it’s light - but very visible outdoor or during day time, probably doesn’t do much for night time.

Too Expensive

The product itself is very nice. It blends very well and has good pigment. I just think the price is very steep for one little item. I very rarely purchase eyeshadow from here due to the price. I can get entire palettes for half the price of one of these single eyeshadows from Colorpop or Morphe and they blend just as amazing. I feel this company needs to bring down the prices of items if they want people to keep on buying their products. I used to be a a solid MAC fan only, but realized other companies are just as good for a fraction of the price. Not only rich people want to buy MAC!

Yuka Approved No Talc Eyeshadow

All Mac eyeshadows are great but this one does not contain any talc or other dangerous chemicals. The Yuka App gives this an excellent score of 83/100. These eyeshadows are easy to apply and are not messy. They stay on for a long period of time. I intend to buy all the colours of these Extra Dimension Eye Shadows.
