Finally an alcohol free setting spray! I didn't know that this was what i had been looking for. A little background, I have a very oily T-zone and live in a hot area, (even hotter this summer) so normally I will finish up my makeup with a setting spray. I got the setting spray last week and used it for a couple days some which were humid and rainy and others days when it was sweltering hot and I have to say, I'm very impressed. I've used MACs setting prays I'm the past, but I wasn't really a fan because I have oily skin and the older formulas made me break out. But, this formula is new and improved! On one of the nights that I tried it out, I had a night with my friends. I got home around 2am and to my uttermost surprise, my makeup was still PERFECT. I haven't had a setting spray that really lasts this long.The spray is amazing too. It is a perfect mist so doesn't feel heavy on your face and the spray seems to be sensitive skin friendly which is always a plus. I would highly recommend this product

I have been a religious user of Urban Decay's All Nighter Setting Spray for the past 5 years or so. I never had any issues with it, but I decided to branch out when I saw that MAC had an alcohol free long-lasting setting spray. I have very sensitive skin due to my psoriasis, and products with alcohol usually don't react well with my face. Fix+ seemed kind of sticky/greasy when I sprayed at first, but it dried quickly. I really appreciated that it didn't insta-dry up my face like All Nighter does. Fix+ also gives a better glow than All Nighter. The lack of alcohol is just a godsend for my sensitive skin. Held up perfectly for my BIL's wedding, so I'm pleased!

With my first purchase, the pump didn't mist evenly, sometimes there were large tear sized globs on my face and the pump would get stuck and leak. Eventually it broke and left me with 1/4 product still unused. When it did work, I liked the effect that the spray had. It married the makeup to my skin nicely and created a nice, finished effect. So I decided to give it another try, assuming I must have gotten a faulty bottle. Sad to report that my second bottle had the same, exact problem. The pump gets jammed, and starts leaking. I still have a lot of product left and I suspect this one will be breaking even sooner than the first. I tend to have oily skin, this product doesn't really work with oily skin because the makeup still tends to run off or smudge. On my arm that tends to be on the drier side, it lasted a bit longer however you can still get some smudge if you even slightly rub the makeup. What intrigued me about this setting spray was its skincare properties. So I put it to the test for a long shift at work followed by a night out. By the end of the night, my makeup still looked great and my skin felt hydrated. It locked in my makeup for 16 hours without my face getting too shiny which is fantastic. The packaging is nice and the spray nozzle actually works (such a nice even fine mist) which is good. From the times I've used this spray now, I've found it works really nicely and doesn't leave your face feeling sticky. I also like that the product doesn't smell chemically or perfumey. For me this has quickly become the most used item in my makeup kit!

I'm usually a die hard MAC fan anyways but i was using UD all nighter, until i found this miracle setting spray! I love the feel of it, my makeup does last and stay matte and the best part is it doesn't contain any alcohol like UD. I actually prefer this one because it doesn't make my face feel tight afterwards and after hours go by, I notice my forehead is a bit oily with ud. I found a new best setting spray and i hope mac never discontinues this. It's awesome and you get quite a large amount in the mini size! It'll last a while since i don't wear makeup every day of the week. It's light and doesn't feel like you're wearing anything on top of your makeup. I've used it with different foundations and setting powders and have gotten the same filter effect each time.

Please be aware this is also during summer where temps have been hitting 95 degrees F consistently, so I think that's very impressive. I even got a comment after my dance class from the instructor that my makeup didn't sweat off at all. The setting spray goes on with minimal scent and dries pretty quickly. I did think the sprayer was more of a mist than I'm used to with setting sprays so I felt like I had to spray more to really make sure it covered my entire face.
