Today was the first day I needed to wear my new jacket. It rained all day so it was tested pretty well. I bought the item to go over my old Berghaus. After I had been outside for a few hours I found it was quite good at keeping me dry, however my Berghaus was damp around the cuffs and down the front of the coat. Not sure if the water had come through the zip or the seams? I will be interested to see how it fairs this week as more rain is expected.

Easy to place order and good delivery service. I bought myself one of these to pack light weight for general use and for when I go walking. Its been good so far - used it when I was caught in a heavy downpour. Fits well - on the large size but that suits me. Comfortable and packs down super small. It is lightweight, well designed and breathable. It dried quite quickly after getting a soaking. The bright purple colour is really lovely and it is as vibrant as it appears on the website.

This is a basic emergency shell and should be treated as such. Of all the low price packables on the market this is probably the best and works well if you don't expect too much from it. It's not suitable for use in serious weather and shouldn't be used as a mountain shell.The DWR isn't as good as I was expecting which means water doesn't bead up and roll off the jacket in the way that it would from a more expensive gore tex or equivalent jacket. Also the hood design is basic.Having said all that, if all you require is a lightweight shell to chuck in a bag just in case without spending a fortune then this is a good option. I'm pleased with mine but recognise its limitations.

Great jacket, folds up very small. Haven’t tried in heavier rain yet but in light rain kept me completely dry. Only improvement I can suggest is to have a double-ended zip; since the sizes are unisex it’s narrower in the hip than women’s sizes, and a double zip would help it better suit women’s body shapes.Excellent price from this store. Prompt postage.
Before buying my Mac in a Sac I contacted customer services to ask about sizes. I was informed that I would be able to buy a few different sizes and get free return postage on the sizes that didn't fit! After ordering they arrived within a few days and after I chose my size the returns process was easy although notification of receipt of return was a little slow the refund followed straight away!The Mac is certainly light weight and is very waterproof! (So far tested in the Welsh mountains- still to be tested cycling in London.)The colour and fit/cut is great and very stylish!One thing which is weird and not great is that the hook to hang up the Mac is on the outside.
I bought this as a gift for my husband for cycling. I was looking for something light-weight and easily packable. It is definitely both of these things.The customer service was superb. They specially checked the warehouse for an item that said it was out of stock.The neon green has excellent visibility for outdoor activities in low light.The fit is possibly a tiny bit on the small side. My husband is a universal size L and although this jacket fit and zipped well, there wasn't any room for a jumper underneath.Haven't trialled it in the rain yet so didn't feel I could give the full five starts.But we'll be ordering more for the rest of the family!
I prefer a looser fit, and the jacket was a little small for me when worn over a few layers. I wear a medium in another packable jacket brand. I'll be exchanging for a large. Otherwise it seems to be a great jacket. Haven't worn it outside, but it's great to have two zipped outer pockets and two map pockets inside, and the hood conceals really neatly. I like it!

Great product but sizes do come up real a lot smaller than indicated sizes on the chart.I am a XXL in normal UK Sizes but had to return for XXXL which just fit still tight across the back.The return was made easy by the customer services, that a lot of other companies should look to emulate.I would like to suggest the Company review with their manufacturer the sizes. With a 49inch chest I would have thought their XXXL would be slightly loose! Please remember not everyone is Slim!The actual product apart from sizes is brilliant.I am considering the Polar but is sizes are the same I don't want go through the same issue for a second time, which is a shame when a review of the sizing could overcome this.
I like this jacket a lot. Easy to pop into a backpack for summer walking in the Yorkshire Dales. I'm 6 foot 5 inches, and the XXL fits really well - good length in the body and arms. The design offers a good level of ventilation, it's tiny when rolled into the sac and adds little weight to my load. While I've not had it on in rainy conditions yet - it only arrived two weeks ago, I have used it to cut out the wind - and it does a great job at that. Came quickly (48 hrs) from Northern Ireland.
