I have been using a popular skincare brand since I was 18. However, after 23 years my skin wasn't reacting well to the products and I needed something better. I was hesitant to purchase skincare from a makeup brand. I am so glad that I did. This cleanser works without drying out my combination dry skin. I have actually let my skin airdry after washing and it is so soft and dewy looking even before using a toner. I use the toner and lotion from this line and my 44 year old skin looks and feels great. I get compliments on my skin all the time. I love this line.

MAC...I love you so much...but what is this? It doesn't lather. You can't see it in your hands. It takes two, sometimes three, rounds to work. And then it dries out your skin AND clogs pores. At. The. Same. Time. How? The older Lightful C and Coral Lightful C products were so much more effective. These newer, poor quality products (including the newer face wipes that just move makeup around to the other side of your face) have reluctantly taken a very loyal MAC consumer back to the drugstore. Please bring back the old products and I will be back.

I bought a washing gel, used it for about three weeks, severe rashes began on my entire face, even in those places that had never been inflamed. At first I was looking for the cause in something else, but as soon as I removed the gel, my face began to gradually return to normal. Who does not want to get rid of post-acne marks and wait until acne on the face disappears, I strongly recommend not to buy this gel.

This cleanser is just fabulous. Great texture, suitable for sensitive skin, wonderful smell, non stripping. Makes happy every time I use it. Do not understand the negative reviews that seem to lament d/c of a previous version of the product. Love this whole line. Fantastic.
I am very upset Mac has discontinued the amazing "Lightful C Coral Grass Cleanser/Nettoyant", have used and enjoyed this product for years then the company just decided to discontinue. I have very sensitive skin and have tried numerous brands until I found the one that is compatible for my skin type..unfortunately I gave this Mac Lightful C3 a shot for a week and it certainly has not come close to that of the initial lightful C+ Coral Grass Cleanser. It has left my skin very dry, the gel does not lather well and foam.. feels like I am applying some cheap awful smelling product to my face, has given me a breakout as well.. I am extremely upset with my overall experience and personal testimony of this new updated cleanser formula. Pretty packaging, a delicate scent and an excellent product. This is a great cleanser. It feels light, smooth and gentle. After the first use, I was impressed to see my skin looking bright and evenly toned. This has continued with each use. As an added bonus, this cleanser has aided the absorption of my current serum and moisturiser, working well together to leave my skin bright and soft, without any kind of tacky feel. Winner! And, as only a small amount is needed, it's seriously good value, given the 125ml tube. I'm looking forward to trying the other products in the range.
I was very happy to finally discover that MAC had replaced the coral facial cleanser, which dried my skin very badly, with Lightful C3. I tried this one and have been very pleased. It is not drying and actually leaves my skin looking and feeling clean, fresh, very good. I would really love to see more lather. However, I am satisfied with the performance of C3. Hopefully, MAC brings back the Green Cleanser, which I loved.
I was very excited to finally get my hands on this cleanser as it was sold out for a bit. It does the job well, does not strip my skin and cleans mascara without leaving a residue using just a small amount. The downside is, while the smell is nice and doesn't seem overpowering at first, once I rinse it off, I feel as though I can taste it without having gotten any in my mouth. I wanted to love this entire line but, this just didn't cut it for me. The micellar water cleanser in the line is the only one I love.
Stopped at the MAC store to check out their new skincare line. I was fortunate enough to have a salesperson demonstrate the correct way to use the oil cleanser first before the gel to foam cleanser. It makes a big difference; my skin felt hydrated all day. My new favorite cleansers!
I bought it because I assumed it was like the 'new' coral cleanser that I loved!!! Nope. Not even close. It has zero lather, and the smell is overwhelming. My skin is breaking out. Please bring the good one back!!
