Mac Lip Pencil Oak

All if there stuff is more than a 10 I swear by them have had all they're products and everything they sell is amazing and they all have an amazing smells from the products from MAC omg can't say enough really about this brand!!! all the brushes feel great and last long and clean well!!! All mascara and liners and brows cheeks lips anything and Everything by them last long and anything that deal with cleaning the face as well and skin care works amazing and works well!! Any of the shadows the pallets the lipsticks all of it is good all the foundations and the contours the finishings Everything by this product is amazing and I will buy it all or try it out they are my favorite brand!! A BIT OF A DISAPPOINTMENT

When I tested this product in-store, there were two of the colour I wanted with different production codes on them. One was soft and easy to apply, the other a lot harder. I was assured by the sales assistant that this was because the hard one had been exposed as a display model without its lid. Anyway, the brand new lip pencil I bought was also hard, so is a little more difficult to apply than I would have liked. I'm disappointed, as I usually like the quality of MAC products. As I live so far away from my nearest John Lewis, it was not worth returning. However, on the positive side, the colour is perfect.

Best sort of pink.

I love this color and was so worried when it went out of stock but it's back in, but I was able to get itbfrom a store anyway. It is a perfect blue based pink that's not bright or garish but soft and retty and goes perfectly with any cool tone pink shades from deeper to even slightly warmer or shimmery. It has the same consistency I find of most MAC lip pencils. Not fry or skipping but not as smooth a glide as some pencils, but easy to get sharp definition and it last and lasts. It's also easy to blend with the lip color so you don't have some weird ring around your color if they don't perfectly match. Which makes them more flexible to use.

Disappointed

I do not recommend this product unless you are committed to returning it immediately if the liner tip isn't creamy. I own other Mac lipliners where this isn't an issue. It didn't even occur to me that it would be having ordered it online. It was so dried out it was virtually impossible to apply and is unpleasant to try to use. A hack to use a blow dryer to soften the tip helps but is impractical. Mac makes great products but please do not accept a substandard one like I ultimately did.

Gorgeous lip liner, great colour

I really loved this lip pencil. I can never go wrong with Mac products and I do like a good lip pencil for outlining my lips. This pencil comes in a great range of colours so finding a perfect match for your lipstick is easy. The pigmentation is high quality, great colour and it’s really flattering on my lips. I have used this to outline my lips for lipstick and also by itself filling in my lips and adding a little gloss. Both ways work really well. It’s creamy and not dry which I love in a lip liner because it makes it so much easier to apply and it doesn’t drag across lips. I love this lip liner and would recommend it

Great with a lip liner or alone.

I love dark lip shades but hate maintaining them through the day. This helps staying power so much. Or to slightly change the shade of a lipstick I am not crazy about.However, honestly I mostly just use these lip pencils to fill my lips and then use a tiny bit of lip balm to make it look even. I love that it lets me use intense colors in a more subtle way.Burgundy and Nightmoth are my favorites.

Never too old!

Nightmoth! I love it!I'm an older lady but always liked original Addams Family. Now with Netflix show, Wednesday, being so popular I wanted Wednesday's lip color like the cool kids!Being older I thought I couldn't. But what I do is lightly outline my lips with the pencil, then fill in with a not-so-Goth lipstick color (Mac's "Syrup"). It gives me the Wednesday feeling I want without looking scary (for my age).Try it!! It's quite fun!

Not my favorite lip liner

It took me awhile to give in to the hype of MAC lip liners. The colors are thoughtfully created for sure. I picked up whirl and it really is a nuanced neutral mauvy nude. There are so few nice lip products that sit between too cool toned gray leaning and too warm toned terracotta, and this one manages to define the lips well while looking natural and adding pigment. The texture however is just too dry. My lips need to be moisturized but wiped clean of any lingering moisture because otherwise the liner will just drag over them without distributing pigment. So it's not a throw-it-on quick liner. It lasts ok, but my lips feel dry when I use the liner all over so that's the pay off. The MAC Lip Liner in the shade Whirl has been one of my faves from years.I have purchased & repurchased this multiple times.It was recently gifted to me by the brand.It is such a pretty pinkish brown hue that gives the perfect MLBB vibe.It pairs so nicely with most of my everyday nude lipsticks and glides on smoothly.I also love using it as a base for my lip balms when I just wanna head out the door with a subtle hint of colour to my lips.You won't regret getting this in your collection,definitely worth a try 😇💯
