Mac Macstack Waterproof Mascara 12ml

I love waterproof mascaras and this is a good option if volume is your priority. Lengthening is pretty good, not the best I’ve tried but it does holds a curl. I would give it a 4/5, still an overall solid waterproof mascara.

A Solid Waterproof Mascara

I was lucky enough to receive this mascara completely free, in exchange for an honest review. I'll start with the packaging, it is absolutely beautiful, sleek, and intriguing. I unboxed and was ready to try it on immediately, just because it looked so cool. I tried this mascara a few times, and unfortunately it isn't a winner for me. I have naturally straight, thin lashes that seem to point downward. Because of this, I can only use Waterproof Mascaras. So my routine is pretty basic, but lashes are my very last step. I did notice it added significant volume, and length, all while not clumping my lashes too much. It was definitely waterproof, and I had no issues removing it with my regular makeup remover.I will continue to use this product on my lower lashes that don't need to be curled, and I will recommend it to my friends that don't have curling issues.

Bummed and Disappointed

I am ALWAYS on the lookout for the best of the best waterproof mascara - one that literally does not move rain, sweat or tears. I saw a couple TikToks on this waterproof Mac Stack - people were dunking their face in bowls of water, saying they wore it to the beach, the pool or the gym and reported that it did not move. So I gave it a go. I was not impressed with the applicator brush - it did not apply evenly or cleanly, but figured if the formula was as amazing as I'd heard, I could figure something else out. But I am unfortunately hear to report that those TikTokers were inaccurate. How they pulled their face out of that water without flakes, I will never know. And the icing on the cake (really sucky icing I might add), I split with my long term boyfriend days after buying the mascara (the split was not cause by the mascara, I don't think..) and clearly was devastated. Tears rolling down my cheeks while we're having our final conversation. I look in the mirror before I drive off and I've got flakey streaks of mascara rolling down my face. I was devastated (about the split; humiliated about the state of my disgusting flaked mascara eyes and cheeks). I loathe mascara streaked cheeks when someone cries, when I cry - it is soo tacky looking - so you can imagine how disgusted and bummed I was at this 'not so waterproof' mac stack mascara and returned it PRONTO!Now if someone things I got unlucky with a lemon of a tube let me know, I'm willing to give it a go one more time.I'm super disappointed and on the hunt again for the best of the best in waterproof mascaras.

Great waterproof option

Liked this formula a lot. I do hair and makeup and I'm always looking for a truly great waterproof formula, especially for bridal clients and girls going to prom. Many brands that are waterproof are noticeably more clumpy then regular, and still don't fully prevent the mascara from transferring underneath the eyes and staying put. The main thing I like about waterproof formulas is that typically if you curl your lashes and need your curl to hold, waterproof formulas will typically perform better and hold the desired shape of your lashes. I would typically choose a regular non waterproof mascara to wear on a everyday basis because I was having a hard time finding a waterproof formula that worked just as well on my lashes then my favorite regular brands, but I liked this mascara so much that I have been wearing it daily because of how well it holds my curl, enhances and defines and separates. It's a great choice, it's also not almost impossible to remove it, like most waterproof products, I didn't feel like it was especially difficult to remove with a just a good oil cleanser.

Mac Mascara honest review

First off I'm a person that doesn't wear much daily make up ( brow filler, mascara, eyeliner,) so for me the quality of makeup that I do use is important. I received this mascara as a free product in exchange for an honest review. My two first initial thoughts when trying the product was that the sharpness of the applicator tips was a little rough on the eyelids where you first apply, but it can also be a pro for the fact that it helps create probably one of the least clumpiest mascaras I've used by far, even after multiple coats. It definitely used my natural length and gave a beautiful natural enhanced volume that I was very happy with. My next pro would be that for a waterproof mascara, it's very gentle on the eyes as far as texture. Again I wouldn't say this is technically a con, because you should wash your face nightly... But for some people like me who could be a little lazy, this is something I did notice. Overall compared to other products, I would say it is very good quality that delivers what it promises and I would recommend to others if asked my thoughts on the product. Lastly, I did write this review after a couple days of trying it, but one last thing I would like to see, is how long the bottle actually lasts. Sometimes I feel like the purchase price of a product is good but only lasts for a solid two\three weeks ( I apply about three coats daily with an occasional touch up coats.) I'll go ahead and update the review once I see how long the bottle lasts, but overall I will most likely repurchase to keep in my mascara rotation.

My new everyday mascara

I received the MAC Stack Waterproof Mascara through Bzzagent to try out and leave an honest review. My first impression was the bottle's design, it is very simple yet unique and chick. The applicator wand made it easy to apply. It's was a bit stiff compare to some I've tried in the past but the bristles helped brush each eyelash over with enough product to avoid clumps. Since my days have been long, I prefer to do a quick natural make up look instead of my usual smokey look with false lashes. One of my favorite mascaras!

I was really impressed with the bottle design when I opened the packaging for the first time, after receiving it from BzzAgent in exchange for a review. The ball design in the handle makes it easy to hold and open up. It's heavier than the other half of the container, so it feels easier to maneuver about. I didn't notice any strong scent, of course, it smells like its mascara, but it's not particularly noticeable unless you're sensitive to smells. I was thoroughly impressed with the long-lasting effect of the mascara. I wore it in the shower and during a face-washing routine and only a few tiny bits came off and sat under my eyes. I really appreciate the wand being silicone instead of the brush type of wand. Now I don't have to worry about the mascara clumping to the wand in the bottle, like a few of my other waterproof mascaras. I've never been the type to spend a lot of money on makeup, I don't love the idea of spending an hour and a half wage on one makeup item. I can see the value in this mascara though. I will more than likely repurchase this when it runs out. Not sure I would recommend it to someone that typically only spends $12 or $13 on any one makeup item.Overall, I really like the MAC Stack, I think its a great investment if you don't already have one in your collection

Wow my lashes have finally found their perfect match. This MAC Stack made my medium-fine lashes fuller and longer! Way too globby & definitely not for short lashes!

This is one of the worst mascaras I’ve ever tried. I’m a huge fan of MAC products, but this mascara is an absolute mess! If goes on pure glob and I’ve been wearing mascara for decades. Mac Magic Extension fiber Mascara, on the other hand, is one of my absolute favorites! I have short lashes and small eyes. The wand is tapered on Magic Extension and small enough for smaller eye socket application, but designed such that just a few sweeps gives me full and beautiful lashes without any clumping. Washes off easily too. I have sensitive eyes and Magic Extension does not bother me. What I love most is I’m not a morning person but I love a full lash with a lot of oomph, and I get results I want with Magic Extension in minimal time - a huge time saver for me with my morning ... MoreThis is one of the worst mascaras I’ve ever tried. I think the applicator is better suited for larger eyes and really long lashes; certainly not for those with short lashes and small eyes. But the consistency is nothing special either…. Way too globby. I even tried scraping the excess into the tube and that still didn’t work. This mascara is yucky. Sorry Mac, I love the majority of your products just not this one.
