Seeing as I haven’t reviewed a Mac lipstick in 9 months, I thought I would share my latest experience using their Lustre lipstick. Already a fan of MAC’s satin lipstick range, I thought I would switch it up and try something new. I heard from a friend that the Lustre lipsticks offer a more lightweight formula and natural look, and recently I’ve been at home a lot so decided to give it a try. I bought the shade Syrup and it compliments my skin tone (MAC NC42) really well. It easily glides over lips and has a sheer-to-medium coverage which is still pretty buildable so perfect for every occasion. In terms of drying, I don’t have any worries with this and sometimes can go without a lip balm before applying, which with the satin or mattes wouldn’t be as easy. For a ... For a fuller look, I also decided to purchase one of Mac’s lip pencils along with this in color Dervish - which I find keeps the lipstick in place all day. I've been loving addicted to collecting MAC lipsticks lately. I tried out Patisserie for the first time which I think was my 2nd MAC lipstick I collected. I love this so much, I've seen my favorite youtuber use in some of her videos like Cady Heron from Mean Girls Serena Van Der Woodsen. Hopefully I'll use this to recreate their looks one day. But I used it to recreate her prom look of 2014 because I didn't have the Hug Me lipstick also from MAC, so I looked through temptalia which is a website where you can find dupes for some makeup products I two of them being Patisserie Velvet Teddy, did a poll on which I should use a lot of people voted for Patisserie. You can check out my Tiktok of me recreating the 2014 prom makeup my first impression on the lipstick... Show more

Happy National Lipstick Day💋! Through their Back 2 M•A•C program, I exchanged my old product containers for a brand new in Midimauve. I love @maccosmetics commitment to reducing waste and recycling it’s iconic packaging. This lipstick is so smooth, adds a beautiful long lasting colour, all while hydrating my lips. I dislike when a lipstick dries out your lips or if you need to reapply constantly. I will definitely purchase from the Lustre lipstick line again…and probably this same colour! #NationalLipstickDay #MAClipstick #lipstick #summeroflip #boldlip #MACcosmetics #mauve #MAC #recycle... Great lipstick. These lipsticks are super pigmented which is great for creating a lasting color /stain. Not moisturizing so I would recommend using a scrub before applying and a good moisturizing lip balm. I like to use this lipstick with other more moisturizing formulas to create the perfect all day all night color... Show more

Colours shown L to R: Midimauve - Cockney - Capricious - Touch. I’m a huge fan of MAC lipsticks and the colour Touch is one of my favourite colours. I love the texture, it feels very pleasant to the lips. The colours are very pigmented and stay on the lips a very long time. I’m comparison to the other types of MAC lipsticks I like that this type is buildable and you can apply it lightly so it gives a bit of colour but not super heavy so it gives a more natural look.... The Mac lipstick in the shade a ruby woo is one of my favorite red lipsticks! I am a lipstick freak and I love a good red shade. It’s always been hard for me to find a red that looks good with my skin tone or that goes on my lips and looks at all similar to the color! When I found this one it was perfect. I highly recommend If you like red lipstick. It’s a good one to have on hand.... Show more

Love all of mac lipsticks. They stay all day, a lil hard to get off at the end of the day sometimes, which is great in my book. I smoke so that's a biggie. I love the matte lipsticks. They are the ONLY ones that stay put and are NEVER dry like all the rest of the matte lipsticks I've tried. I do sometimes prefer a glossy look so I just go and top with a loreal paint gloss and it's wonderful! Highly recommend... Show more

Wow. This is the very first MAC product I've ever tried and I now understand it's devoted cult following. This is literally the sexiest my lips have ever felt. The tube opened with a gentle suction sensation because of the magnet closure. Upon inspection the stick was a lush color. I applied it to my lips and it felt a bit dry at first and required that I rub it VERY firmly to apply. But after application it did not dry my lips out at all. The pigment is obviously of very high quality and very dense, and was a gorgeous blood red that flattered my coloring. I've got a bit of ruddy Irish undertones to my skin and rarely wear bold lip colors because of it, but this looked good. Damn good. Screen siren good. Ruby Woo is a classic, bright-red matte lipstick with blue undertones. Reminds me of retro movie star lipstick. It is one of the most famous shade of red lipstick that is flattering on everyone. Every skin complexions lip shapes can pull off ruby Woo. It is highly pigmented long lasting. The only downside is it can be a little drying so make sure to have some lip balm. If you're looking for a red lipstick, I highly recommend MAC's Ruby Woo.... Show more
