Mac N4 Studio Radiance Face and Body Radiant Sheer Foundation 50ml

I have been using MAC Face Body Foundation for years. It’s been the only reliable, sheer, skin like looking foundation that works for my super dry skin. I love how it’s waterproof, sweat proof doesn’t transfer onto clothes. I used this foundation on my wedding day in hot Mexico weather it didn’t budge! They recently reformulated it it’s now called radiant face body. I bought it compared with the old formula. It’s very similar, the new formula definitely has more of radiant glow to it the colour C3 is slightly different. However, it still applies the same, blends super easy looks luminous skin like on. Beautiful Skin in a Bottle!

Firstly, I would just like to say that I'm a guy.For years I have suffered with uneven skin tone, a dull complexion and faint acne scars. As a result, I have never felt truly confident with my skin.I decided to purchase this product after seeing YouTube videos stating it is not only sheer, but almost undetectable on the skin.I was absolutely blown away after the first time using it! It gives the most beautiful, healthy glow to the skin. Definitely not the same

I don't usually write reviews, but I write this in hope that Mac will reinstate the original formula. I've been using the new formula in shade C7 for a few weeks now and it's definitely not the same as the original. The new formula is much heavier on the skin- it feels as if you're wearing a lot of product, even when I apply the smallest amount. I use it with NC50 and NC45 pro long wear concealer and although this combination of products was perfect with the original, with this new version the finished effect feels heavy and caked on. It's also very drying on the skin and, the more I use it, I seem to be developing dry patches and a few spots in places. This formula is less hydrating, and doesn't feel like a light moisturiser. Great every day foundation!

This foundation provides a skin like finish with light coverage. Comes off very glowy when you first apply it, but it sets down to more of a natural finish after a few minutes. This foundation wears beautifully. Its waterproof and it does not kling like most waterproof foundations do. This foundation is best applied by rubbing it into your hands until it gets somewhat tacky, then pressing/swiping it onto the skin. I actually bought the studio radiance primer to go with it and together they make a stunninly glowy pair. I also tried it with a matte primer and had no issues with it. Overall, I would say that the strongest feature of this product os versatility. Oily skin? Dry skin? I love this product! Perfect for my older dry skin.

I'm a woman in my 50s with extremely dry and sensitive skin. I've tried too many products to count trying to find something that didn't irritate my skin or feel "heavy". This is it. I prefer a natural look so regular foundations are not for me. The sheer coverage this provides is perfect!! I could see how it would be too greasy for someone with oily or combo skin, but for my dry skin it is amazing!! The color chart is a bit confusing. I'm fair with a pink undertone and in other products I was usually "safe" just choosing the 2nd to lightest shade. In this MAC product I'm a C2 which in the shade selection is right in the middle. I do need to say that I do not layer other products with this. Just give us the OLD Face and Body back please!

The reviews say it all! It's NOT the same we all have both products directly in front of us. It's oily and doesn't go on like the old formula and worse still the shades are wrong especially the C shades which were perfect for olive, tan, yellow tones. We always thought MAC had our back but no now those trusted C shades are orange and peach with the ashy cast just like everywhere else. I was told by a MUA that the Pro line Face Foundation (in the large 120ml bottles) would be staying after the hooha. See my positive review for that on the product page it is my HG and I would tell everyone how amazing it is for any age range but now I feel cheated and lied to because they are still digging their heels in, why oh why are they not listening to their customers ?? Ive been loyal to MAC for so long it feels like it means nothing because no one at MAC is listening anyway. Magical HG base makeup

Where has this been my whole life?? I love how lightweight this is, as it doesn’t feel like a foundation but more like a watery serum. However, unlike other skin tints/serum foundations, this one is NOT greasy! It’s also very long-lasting, which is a surprise! I don’t know why it’s so magical, but once it’s set, it will last me pretty much the whole day. I have combo skin and I do use a setting powder on top, but even without the powder, it still lasts considerably long! I have never used anything else like it in terms of the watery texture and uncompromised longevity. The coverage is light but very buildable, up to medium. NOT the Face & Body I know and love

I have to believe most of these positive reviews are coming from people who have never used original Face and Body. Thankfully I still have two big bottles in my shade and a big bottle of white. I won't run out for a while, but eventually I will and it's upsetting knowing I will not be able to replace it because this new version is not F&B. It is a streaky, oily mess and a totally different texture. The C shades run more peachy orange and less olive. It is not the same amazing formula that visibly plumps my skin and makes it look healthy and radiant in the most natural way. Unless Mac come to their senses and bring it back exactly as it was, they've made a terrible decision axing their best foundation, arguably their best product period. It was just a touch too dark so I tried N0 when I purchased the new radiance version. N0 is far too yellow.The original foundation was meant to be applied with the hands. It would get tacky as you rubbed the product between your fingers and then you would press the foundation into the skin. It had a natural satin finish that was transfer-proof, water-proof, beautiful, buildable coverage, and skin-like. It was also unmatched, no other foundation could achieve what Face and Body could do.
