Mac NC60 Studio Radiance Serum-Powered Foundation 30ml

I have combination skin that has uneven skin tone. I usually have bags under my eyes from lack of sleep. And I don’t always moisturize as often as I should. But with this foundation, you don’t have to worry about any of that. It goes on so smooth, it’s dewy and moisturizing, but it stays where you put it. My fine lines looked far better. I didn’t even need concealer as I usually do. It’s so buildable that you can just add a little to wherever you need it most. I am beyond impressed. Also bonus points for never feeling heavy, not having a weird smell, not having to touch it up at any point and having such beautiful packaging.

A nice light foundation with great coverage

I've worn MAC Studio Fix Fluid foundation every day for about five years, so when this came on the market I decided to try it. I decided to wear it for a week before I reviewed it. I apply it with a damp beauty-blender sponge. Impressions follow.1. I wear shade NW20 in Studio Fix Fluid. This uses the same shade numbers as that product, so I bought NW20 in Studio Radiance. It looks the same on my skin. If you're already using Studio Fix Fluid and are happy with the shade you wear, you won't need to be re-shade matched. If you don't currently wear Studio Fix Fluid, definitely get shade-matched; if you're considering a foundation this expensive you need it to be right.2. This is a lot thinner than Studio Fix Fluid. I use less of this than I did Studio Fix Fluid - say, a dime-size amount of Studio Fix Fluid vs a 3/4-dime-size amount of Studio Radiance.4. MAC's Studio Radiance page says the product has "12-hour radiant longwear." I have found that to not be the case. I'm getting 16 hours of "radiant longwear" out of the stuff. Your mileage may vary.5. The manufacturer also claims this "protects against pollution." I have found this to definitely be the case. I work in a newspaper production plant with a lot of airborne contaminants - paper dust, ink mist, just serious amounts of crud in the air - and the product holds that nastiness away from my skin.6. Because this is such a lightweight product it feels really good on your skin.7. This gives a very good "tooth" for your contouring.8. It's supposed to have all sorts of wonderful skin improving features. I can definitely tell that it's highly moisturizing, but beyond that? Too soon to tell but I believe that it will. It has six different botanicals in it.All in all I'm really happy with this foundation. The two questions you may have are, is this worth using and is it worth the $4 upcharge over Studio Fix Fluid? I would say, yes to both.

Favorite foundation of this year.

It's been years since I've tried a Mac complexion product. I have oily skin, but love my glow. However I like a long lasting finish that doesn't make me look too oily. This is extremely hard to achieve as "radiant and long wearing" is rather difficult to have at the same time. Mac...did it with this. I had some difficulty finding my shade due to personal error and confusion. A lot of shades to choose from! But I finally found my perfect match. I was fortunate to have a great Ulta associate match me perfectly. I'm a true C5 and in this NC40 (spot on to their chart that I neglected to look at before trying lol). I tried to like it

I miss the old Studio Fix formula. I dislike the matte and studio radiance versions. I’m using my same skincare routine and never had problems.Matte: dries super fast, not in a good way. By the time I distribute it and pick up my brush, it’s already drying. I end up blotchy because with hard foundation spots on my face that won’t buff out. This version creases awfully. It settles into every line in your face throughout the day and doesn’t smooth out with touch ups. I’ve tried setting with powders, sprays, NOT setting it at all. Nothing worked. Mind you, I'm very picky with my foundation but the way it seamlessly melds with my skin without emphasizing dryness is truly impressive.My go to foundation is the Estee Lauder Future HydraLyst but trying this foundation will be my new favorite since it offers both better coverage (I have dark circles and hyperpigmentation) without being too shiny. The hydration it provides, combined with its longevity, makes it an excellent choice. However, if you have oily skin, you might want to approach with caution as it could leave a slightly dewy finish that might not suit your preferences. Personally, I encountered no issues blending other makeup products on top and simply used a make up brush. I also had no breakout although I'm very acne prone. A suggestion is that I wish it was water proof or had spf.In conclusion, this foundation's ability to combat dryness, provide great coverage, and withstand hot and humid conditions makes it a winner for those of us with dry skin. It's a product I would highly recommend to anyone!!

Really great for light coverage!

I have a lot of skin conditions; rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, allergies & a chronic skin disease called HS, and because of these I really don't wear makeup. I put more into my skincare i.e chemical peels, laser hair removal, and about 20 different hypoallergenic skin care products with about 8 prescribed skin care products from my dermatologist. But i still have little dark & red spots I want to cover sometines, however finding a product that's lightweight, doesn't clog pores or cause acne was hard to find, until now. I'm not a teenager w/ porcelain skin, I'm mixed with a yellow/golden undertone with a lot of skin conditions & not used to wearing makeup. I prefer light coverage & nothing that looks cakey or causes creases. Unfortunately it does transfer onto napkins while wearing it, so you should apply after getting dressed. This foundation leaves a nice dewy, slightly glowy glow. Perfect amount, as too much, shine sparkle is not what I want. The color numbers do not add up to the old foundation numbers. So you have to ask at the counter, or try the online computer matching. I'm usually NW20 previously, but in this I am NW11. I did not find it to oxidize whatsoever. The color stays true, in my pale, fair color scheme. I have to place this over a sunblock, so I'm not sure how moisturizing it really is because I never just wear it on bare skin. NEVER. So its moisturizing properties are in consorts to my sunblock, which is also moisturizing as I have dry skin. Very dry skin. If you find it very moisturizing, perhaps use a less moisturizing sunblock prior or vice versa. It works well with a makeup brush for liquid foundations, also fine with fingers after my sunblock. The only issue I found is it's hard to blend on a dry face with nothing on first, such as sunblock for me. I think I tried it without just to try the color and found it hard to blend on dry skin, but then again I only want a very light layer, one pump. Perhaps if you use more??? Also I never go without sunblock, so it's not really an issue for me to place this, as I would never put it directly on bare skin.

my new fave foundation !

AND it doesn't feel heavy even when i put on more. i'm super excited it actually works as advertised! highly recommend.
