I know a lot of girls loves this foundation but for me this one is just ok and I will tell you why. It's a medium to full coverage foundation as it is a buildable one. I don't like that it does not have any applicator, I know you can share the pump from other MAC foundation or just buy it separately, but this way you need to spend more money. My skin is dry, so if yours too - you need to prepare your skin very well before you apply this foundation. I mean you need to moisturize your skin. Otherwise the foundation will look cakey because contains powders and silicone. Dry skin will look patchy and foundation will exposure all your dry skin places. It has a good pigmentation so I do suggest to use small amount on the beginning and then apply more if you think that you ... It is long lasting but for me personally is "to heavy" if you know what I mean. It has a spf 15 filter which might be a plus for some girls. I have a NC15 shade as a MAC specialist choose for me but is actually to dar if you have a fair skin. Overall for me is just a good foundation.... Show more

The foundation has a creamy consistency, quite similar to the Double Wear from Estée Lauder although its finish is completely different. The packaging doesn't come with a pump and honestly I thought that that was a plus, because I like to apply very small amount on each layer and I'm not sure I would be able to control the amount that we'll with a pump. The smell of the foundation is quite funny. It smells almost like paint. The smell goes away after the foundation is set. The coverage of this foundation is medium to full, but you can easily make it into a sheer coverage as well. It all depends on how much you apply and how many layers... Show more

I have lots of blemishes and some texture/enlarged pores and I find this foundation to not accentuate any of it. It blends well on the skin and gives me a really beautiful natural matte finish. It doesn't transfer after it dries. I like to pair it with the Strobe Cream in Pinklite and the finish gets slightly more luminous and natural but not greasy. I apply one very thin layer of the foundation with a brush and then I reapply it only on my problem areas where I have more hyperpigmentation and it covers everything without looking heavy.... Mac Studio Fix Fluid in the shade NC25 is undeniably a fantastic foundation that offers impressive coverage and a natural finish. However, my minor but consistent complaint lies in the fact that a pump is not included with the foundation. Let's start with the positives - the coverage of this foundation is outstanding. It effortlessly conceals imperfections, evens out my skin tone, and gives me a flawless canvas to work with. The shade NC25 is a great match for my skin tone, and I appreciate how it provides a natural look without feeling heavy or cakey. The longevity of Mac Studio Fix Fluid is commendable. It holds up well throughout the day, even in hot and humid conditions, without the need for frequent touch-ups. I can confidently wear it for extended periods ... I can confidently wear it for extended periods without worrying about it fading or breaking apart. However, my consistent frustration is the lack of a pump with the foundation. Having to buy the pump separately adds an unnecessary extra expense and creates inconvenience. It's disappointing to see this issue persist over time, as many other brands include a pump or an applicator with their foundations. Despite this drawback, I still love the product itself. The foundation's performance is excellent, and I appreciate the range of shades available, which makes it easier to find a perfect match for various skin tones. In conclusion, Mac Studio Fix Fluid in NC25 is a high-quality foundation that offers great coverage and long-lasting wear. I would happily give it five stars if it included a pump, as this minor issue has been a consistent inconvenience for me. Nevertheless, if you don't mind purchasing a separate pump, I highly recommend trying out this foundation for its impressive performance and beautiful finish.... Show more

I bought this Mac Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation on sale at Ulta a few months ago and have been using it ever since… Let me start with the pros. This powder foundation does in fact immediately reduce the appearance of pores. It’s my favorite thing about it. It’s a fine milled pressed powder, so I usually apply it with a dense foundation brush and it gives me the perfect airbrushed finish to my face. I would say it can be anywhere from light to full coverage depending on how you build it up. It also doesn’t clog your pores or cause any acne, which is a definite plus. However,… My biggest gripe with this powder foundation is that it oxidizes visibly. The color I chose is a perfect match when I first apply it, but it starts to lean yellow and become darker ... The color I chose is a perfect match when I first apply it, but it starts to lean yellow and become darker within the first 2 hours. Keep this in mind when choosing a shade! Also, if you don’t prep your skin properly, this foundation will look very cakey. It won’t show up well in photos at all! Lastly, while it does temporarily control oil and shine, this only lasts for roughly 5 hours. While this product has the beginnings to be a favorite on my vanity, the cons are enough to make me hesitate before buying again. If I could figure out the perfect color for my skin without it changing up on me, I would be willing to overlook the other cons and purchase it again for sure.... Show more

Studio Fix Fluid is a medium to full coverage foundation with a thick liquid consistency and a glamorous matte finish. The bottle doesn't come with a pump which is annoying but what else is new I guess. This foundation has a very skin-perfecting finish it makes you look like an airbrushed doll. I find its one of the few foundations that doesn't require a primer underneath but you do want to make sure you moisturize. The MAC artist explained that this foundation contains powder particles which makes it long lasting and lends to the beautiful finish that looks amazing in photographs. I have a combo/dry skin type and I prefer not to set my entire face with powder during the winter otherwise it looks too matte and chalky especially since I'm so pale. Studio Fix Fluid ... Studio Fix Fluid lasts beautifully on the skin but I wouldn't say its one of those transfer-resistant, sweat-resistant, hurricane-resistant, tsunami-resistant foundations. There are days in my life where I need 6-8 hours of solid wear but not necessarily ultra concrete type of wear like ELDW. I don't always need my makeup to last 12+ hours on my face. I think this foundation is worth another try for people who want that flawless base and I love the fact its less expensive than other high-end brands.... Show more

I’ve been trialing this foundation for a while now and I have to say, even though I do like it, I’m not overwhelmed by it if I’m honest. I do like this foundation - it blends so well over the skin and you definitely don’t have to use a lot of it. It has quite a matte finish without looking dull or clinging to dry patches, which I like. I find that it helps to smooth out my pores rather than sinking into them which is great, and it’s formula allows other cream products to blend on top effortlessly. The finish of this product looks beautiful on the skin - it looks really healthy and covers imperfections really well! It also has an amazing shade selection. The finish of this product looks beautiful on the skin - it looks really healthy and covers imperfections really well! It also has an amazing shade selection. However, despite its positives, I did experience a few things that I didn’t particularly like as well. I have quite oily skin and so I always set my makeup with powders and then put moisture back into my face by using a setting spray. I found that this foundation went quite oily on me quite quickly (probably within half a day). It can be touched up easily with powder, but I don’t want to be reapplying my makeup throughout the day - I personally just prefer a formula to last on my skin. Something to consider if you do have oily skin. Additionally to this, I found that the lasting power of this formula isn’t the best. I have a bad habit of resting my head/chin on my hand whilst working - I’ve noticed from where I’ve been doing this, the foundation has worn off so easily! This hasn’t happened with my other foundations. Additional things to consider (not negatives, jus personal preference) - Firstly, it doesn’t come with a pump - which isn’t the end of the world, but it’s just personal preference so bear that in mind when purchasing! Secondly, I find this formula more of a natural looking medium coverage foundation. It’s definitely not as full coverage as I expected, however, it still covers spots/imperfections really well. The formula is nice and thin and you can build it up quite effortlessly - however, by doing this you end up using more product and so it may not last as long. Overall, I do like this product but for the price it definitely isn’t the best I have ever used. I would repurchase, but it wouldn’t be my first choice.... Show more
