I used to really enjoy swimming, but I have been very prone to getting swimmer's ear in the left ear, and after years of constantly getting swimmer's ear, I stopped swimming. My favorite earplugs are from Speedo, the semi rigid once but I haven’t found them available anywhere. I’ve tried the once that mold like play-dough and completely dislike them. They kept falling off and I honestly stopped swimming because of the discomfort of getting water in my ears.It takes a minute to learn to insert this correctly but they stay in my ear and the water out. I was able to swim better and for longer.I’m happy to get 4 in the case because if I loose one I have an extra pair.

These were a game changer for my swimming. I never get water blocking my ears after doing laps. It blocks out most of the sound but you can still hear a bit. Earjobs service was also excellent. I've tried several earplugs to protect my ears from exostosis while surfing over the last 40 years and have to say these are my favorite. Comfortable, don't obstruct your hearing much, and almost never fall out even in large surf. I still have 2 of 4 that I purchased 10 years ago.
I've bough my first set many years ago for pool swimming. Eventually lost all the plugs and now the time to get another set. Using for surfing now in any conditions. Plugs set very tight, never lost one swimming or surfing, even in very challenging situations.Blocks water 100%, also worked well to block heavy traffic noises during night without being too inconvenient in my ears. Still can hear people at the same time, which is good.Definitely recommend
Unfortunately the earplugs do not seal out the water. The problem with most earplugs on the market including the above ones purchased by me is that they do not cater for larger ear canals. Lets face it we are all different. You should have these plugs made in small medium large and extra large. You are only catering for bulk sales not for the individual which is a shame. I have been swimming for over 18 years and I should know what I talking about. When I get a good product and go back to buy them again they are off the market and I would not recommend the above plugs regardless what your advertising says.
After a few bouts with "swimmer's ear" I started using ear plugs on a regular basis. The wax ones worked but I had problems with replacing them in my ear if I took them out during a swim to listen to someone talking. Once wet, they never seemed to seal again. I used different foam types that you roll to squish into a tube to fit in the ear. They also worked initially, but again, once wet, they were not effective, and they stop being firm enough after several uses. These plugs last forever, fit well in my ear, and stay in when swimming. Added bonus of wearing ear plugs, it is much quieter not hearing the water rush past.

They have a long shank (also very flexible) that allows me to insert them deeply, still be able to remove them, and since the shank is flexible my swim cap doesn't add extra pressure. In fact I can't feel them in my ears once inserted.I knocked off one star because waterstill gets into the outer part of my ear canal. At first I thought these were ineffective. But actually the water only goes into a tiny fraction of the canal. I have the sensation of water entering my ears, but once it pools there, I no longer feel it. My vanity chose the clear, but once my swim cap is in place, no one can see into my ears anyway!I highly recommend these. And for the price, they're a no-brainer.
