This is a great portable unit. Has good sound quality across different ranges, good battery life, and easy to use buttons directly on the machine. You can go further into additional settings with a phone app. I used this as an alternative to JBL Eon One Compact after having problems with the power buttons breaking internally on multiple units. These are a great alternative at a slightly better price with comparable size, volume, and controls.

The Sound quality and Power are perfect. It is easy and quick to setup. Great Fit for No Power Plugs. Just so you know you can also get the high powered speakers to work buy buying a silent Generator. But if you dont need crazy Loud. These are perfect. Love it and I am getting a second one to Minister the Gospel in Parks and Nursing Homes. Great Investment!

My staff and I compared this model to similar portable units by other manufacturers and found this to be the best bang for the buck when comparing price along with features. We use several of these for our live sound business in Akron, Ohio. They have outstanding battery life, connect well for bluetooth, plus the onboard mixer allows for excellent control. I do suggest buying the carrying bag for the speaker, which is also an excellent product.
Overall:These are what they say they are. I judge products from my real world use of them after 40 years in music. Small light, the big question,??? the battery. I ran these at 60 per cent volume for 5 hrs and the battery light didn't come off the green. Very impressed.I am using these for music playback. The tones hot all of the right notes and yes they have thump. I bought 4 !The bluetooth and linking work as they say they do.The link setting stays in position even when shut off so when you tun them back on its quick, sound reproduction is great. Thanks Mackie! And zZounds was super fast !
Overall:The sound quality is good but as far as using the link feature for linking up the speakers you cannot use one XLR cable to link up both speakers to have sounds coming out of both speakers wirelessly. The link feature is only to adjust the settings with the buttons on the back of the speakers simultaneously. What a missed opportunity!!!
Purchased for doing small gig and practice in the hotel while traveling; I liked that it was light, compact and there was not much to set up. There wasn't enough power to cover a closet much less a gig. Sounded great in the store for blue tooth.
In putting together a budget for a small PA system, I researched many powered speaker brands- and after reviewing TONS, determined that Mackie's Thump series units were the absolute best bang for the buck- the features include a class D amp which offers stable sound reinforcement- simply no need for passive units & separate amps. Mackie beats them all hands down. Sam Ash is the only place I'd considered when deciding where to purchase. Those guys are PROS!
I now have 4 of these, I utilize 2 for outdoor wedding ceremonies alongside my Denon Prime Go, so I am completely battery powered with the setup! These rock and are plenty loud for music and lapel mics for small ceremonies and cocktail hour. And jam in the backyard too
I used this speaker along with three other Mackie speakers and it was a good fit. Believe me everyone at the party was really impressed and was was asking about the wattage which is 1400 hundred. And all the other were 1600 watts per speakers,so overall mackie speakers are very awesome, I will never leave out of the mackie family I am in it for life.
