Function well as hiking pants and general weather-proof outers. I bought them for cycling and should have gone a size larger. They don't provide enough ankle coverage on my bike, but that's not really a product issue.

Very lightweight, beautifully made, great to keep as backup in your pack incase you need them for rain or an extra outer layer. Highly recommended.

Awsome wet weather panrs

Just got. Back from a 6 day walk in tasmania, did not have to wear these pants on day one but when it rained day 2 on they went. Best gear I had they did not come off except for. Sleep time. If they had pockets I'd wear them to work. Awsome gear. Out performed all other wet weather clothes seen on the walk.

Great rain pants. Comfy and waterproof.

Good for moderate use.

They are nicely designed, really like the zip to allow them to slip on and off more easily with footwear on. I use these walking to/from work/shops etc. So urban use. In consistent rain of an hour they did allow dampness in. But in casual showers etc they are great. If you require them for heavy rain and for long periods, get the next level up.

Good value

Needed a size larger than normal. as quite short in leg , bought for cycling rain pants , a little bit baggy around the shins area for cycling so needed a trouser clip !!

Good value and effective light rain barrier

Fit's my needs nicely - mainly used in light rain conditions commuting (walking and cycling) and for farm visits. Easy to get on and off over boots and very compact when packed - could make the pouch just a little bigger as getting the last few folds in and the zipper closed is quite hard work). Inner layer can feel a little cold when it rains but it stays dry.

Keep the heavy weather out. Light. Appear to be durable and no manufacturing faults

Low weight and no leaks

These rain pants are so much lighter than my old Gortex pants and even in a BC rainforest there were no leaks through the fabric. Mated with a matching jacket, the ensemble was low weight and low bulk for air travel.

Macpac Men's Jetstream Rain Pants

My daughter and I bought these for the Overland track in April'24. They are extremely light and kept our trekking pants dry walking through constant rain on Day-3. They came out of the wash looking brand new. I'm 178cm, 85kg and the Large was a good fit. Highly recommend.
