Good weight for travel, nice slim-look and fit.
Just spent 2 weeks skiing in Japan with this jacket. Overall really liked it - managed with 3 layers using this jacket in temps ranging from 0 to -10. Love the magnetic front pockets, great for easy access to needed things such as a handkerchief, also stored my spare goggle lens if visibility changed - the 2 pockets had lots of room. It is also made from recycled materials so that is a plus. It is also good value - had a gortex shell jacket prior to this and did not miss the gortex.Only one thing that needs improvement. The zip pull and cord are too small. It was frustrating trying to zip or undo the zip with ski gloves on as I could not feel the zips through my gloves - larger zip pulls please! Apart from that the jacket was perfect.
Size: I bought 1st time Size L down jacket but found too big for me (1.77, 67Kg), then this time bought Size M, just fitted well.Design: Nice designed with multiple pockets, light material and rain repellant exterior material.Value: Niche brand high quality product and worth the dollars paid + freight + duty/VAT +admin.Hope: Warehousing in China and opening a shop with T-Mall or Jingdong to make it a lot more convenient for Macpac lovers. Hope all made in China for quality control concern. Made in India long sleeve T shirts not as good as China made after tried but no choices.
