I thought I had ordered pair of small socks. When they arrived they were huge. Hope after a few washes they will shrink a bit. And, yes I know I could have returned them bit I was too lazy

Comfortable with good cushioning and thickness with hardly any odour after 2 days of walking totalling 20 kms. Was also nicely surprised that my feet did not feel hot even though temperatures were in the mid to high 20s.

Use these all the time. I use them hiking and tramping, but also as my go-to socks under jeans (my normal business attire :) - have bought 8 pairs, and wear them 3 seasons casually, but 4 seasons in the outdoors. I do wash them in a wool wash with other merino and the first pairs I bought are into their second, almost 3rd year. They are warm to wear in the summer, but I prefer the comfort and cushioning to going lighter and coller.

Very comfortable socks and thinner than the thick wool hiking socks. I love them. The large socks fit very well for my size 11.5 feet, unlike the large wool gloves that are too tight. No bigger sizes available, and no money back or guarantee if one wears them to try them out.Macpac has got the sizing wrong on their gloves, which really surprised me, but at least their socks tick the boxes.
I love these socks. I have four pairs. I recently spent seven days hiking in the Flinders Ranges and wore these socks each day. My feet felt great, not a blister or rub point anywhere to be seen. Highly recommend these.
These socks are too expensive for what they are and are not proper hiking socks. They are too large even though I am at the high end of the specified range. They are also identical left and right socks. They regulate the temperature quite well and never get excessively hot even in QLD summer hikes. There are similarly priced socks on the market that are far better for proper hiking.
Compared to your average sock these are wonderful. However compared to other merino socks they aren't as good as I'd hoped for. They don't seem to do as good a job at wicking moisture and sweat away as other merino socks I've worn do. When they get damp they stay damp and don't dry as well on the feet as I'd like. They have a tendency to bunch up a little on the soles sometimes but it's not a major issue.Overall, decent, but wouldn't pay the full advertised price. There's better options available elsewhere.
Cotton or nylon socks just do not do it for me. Wool socks are a totally different warmth experience and have a lovely soft support that gently hugs my tired, badly-achy feet. Even on warm days they are comfortable because there is no sweat! I wear these inside white laces ups, boots, runners & shoeless at home...all comfortable. These socks dry quicker & last longer than my husband's cotton/nylon socks..trust me ..it is so hard to find good wool socks..grab these. They so suit my inner city, on-my-feet-all-day lifestyle...we haven't made it to the country yet!!
Love these socks, they're so warm. They're a tad big but a few more washes and they'll be snug. I bought 3 pairs when they were on sale. So glad I did
Bought 2 pairs for my husband. They are warmer than normal socks but have started pilling after only 1 wear and wash which is vey disappointing. Must be what the merino is mixed with as other merino clothing does not pill.
